3. Who can assess the competence of a doctor when that person is likely medically ignorant?

1) Nope, prayers can be offered both in the face of an incompetent and a competent doctor.

2) I don't think I'm an incompetent doctor. I've not been sued yet, never faced a disciplinary committee, never been told so by a patient/patient relative.

3) Competence of a doctor can only be determined by his/her colleagues
