Vicky2k:Oh, thanks s'much. What a relief. By the way, some or most of the items are advertised with the price for shipping and handling outside the US already added. In such cases, do I have to pay extra charges for shipping to Nigeria? If that's not the case, for a moderate weighed item, like say 1kg, what could be the approximate price for shipping to Nigeria? Thanks once again. |
Vicky2k:Sorry my statement could be sorta off topic, but I see no other thread befitting asking the question. Want to find out if it's possible to do purchases from Nigeria on e-bay using say, GTB atm card which is mastercard enabled and have it shipped to you in Nigeria. If yes, thru what means of shipping? Thanks. |
xpensiv:Thanks s'much. You're too kind. And heck, there is even a bluetooth enabled one jooor, as i later found out. |

Please folks, I need this thing called a cassette tape adaptor which is designed for use in cars with in-dash stock cassette tape or CD players installed but without an auxillary in facility to plug in devices like the I-pod or usb mp3 players. I have tried to ask from a few shops where I currently work in Ekiti state but all they could say is that it's been phased out. But that's not true because a lot of people, especially overseas still use this gadget extensively. Heck, there is even a variant that is bluetooth enabled which connects to your phone so that you can receive and make calls as well as listen to music while driving It is shaped like the conventional audio tape. It is used to connect personal CD players, ipods, mp3 players or phones to the bose sound system of cars that come with only audio casette player in the dashboard. Also attached is a picture to guide in the description. Anyone with a contact address where it can be purchased and possibly the price will be highly appreciated. Thank you all.

Costee: I tire o. Na the guy go get nissan cable-controlled tranny na. Wetin I sabi . Problem now though is that since the original tranny he removed is untraceable, is it possible to still be able to get the exact one for the car? Plus help me with addresses where I can secure a good tranny na. Thanks. |
ebenezer95:You're trustworthy and I'm really impressed. I was at cotonu last week and that 3,800,000 cefas was the exact price of the rx 300. I even saw another at 4 million which wasn't even as clean as the one in this picture. Please carry on the good work. By the way how much will you clear the car from cotonu park? Also for a friend:- He's planning on buying a car this month within the budget of 500-550k with Air conditioning from cotonou. And he's thinking of things like nissan almera, honda bullet golf 4 or any other clean car with automatic transmission of course. What are his chances going through you. Cost of purchase, cotonu clearing and 9ja customs clearing in total please. Thanks. |
nissparts:Friend, of late I've been seeing hell with my 99 nissan primera auto transmission. Bought it 1yr 9ja used in may 2010. By august 2011, I experienced some delay in shifting from gear 1 to 2 which later involved gear 3 to 4. Changed the gear oil (by the way I use abro ATF - hope I didn't goof), but there was no improvement. My mechanic said gear had to be changed and went ahead to buy a different type of config gear. According to him, the one on the car is electrically controlled, but the one available and which he could get to buy is controlled by cable - whatever that means - but at least, after fixing it I saw one cable connected to the throttle 'rotor' which I guess is the cable to the gear. Now three months into fixing it, it's back to square one. About a 3 weeks ago, gear will not shift from 2 to 3. Changed the oil again but no improvement. Eventually, gear 1 stopped shifting to 2 and later affected the D2 which initially shifts properly from 1 to 2. Told the mechanic. He was apparently confused, so I've "fashied" him for now and packed the car since three weeks. Been doing my runnings-arounds with public transport ever since. Please, I strongly need your advice and possible help in handling any repairs on this baby. NB- The car is in Ekiti - state, so the option of bringing it to Lagos for repairs is at best not considered. |

fire4fire:Well, I just arrived Ondo state from cotonou yesterday with an uncle. I started my journey on monday and travelled most time of monday. So it's better you should have gotten to Seme border by sunday so that you'll start your runs on monday. So on tuesday morning, we converted our deposit money to Cefas and headed for cotonou. Took us around 3 hours to find a vehicle of our choice at the 6th garage out of some 48 garages. By 3pm tuesday, deposit was paid. We couldn't go back to cash the balance and back before 4pm when banks close, so full payment was made on wednesday. The cotonou clearing agent gave us a document and a full payment receipt stapled together and promised the car would be pulled out thursday and brought to the a park at Ecowas area (btw Cotonou and 9ja border) by late Friday - the park charges 5k for any length of time to watch over your ride. Meanwhile we simultaneously cleared car with 9ja customs agent using the document and receipt issued us. Note that they (9ja customs) have to physically see the car before sealing the clearing, so that's until monday following week. Not been able to travel back this weekend, I intend to go back on monday - meaning I've used monday to travel again. If I arrive early, I plan to obtain number plate (the new one for 39k) - requirements are customs papers, drivers licence and 2 passport photographs. If I arrive lagos late, then that's for tuesday. If I finish early on tuesday, then I finalize with customs and leave with car. If not then it's wednesday. So from my own experience, one week - monday to wednesday - it is. Hope this helps. |
I think this thing still works, not sure though cos I'm unable to check my data balance using 124. But I still browse using glo direct without credit so I suppose I still have some free data left. BTW, I loaded =N=200 yesterday and was credited with extra =N=200 making =N=400. There might be a promo going on. I plan to load =N=500 today to double my chances. ![]() |
