Hehe he. See as this thing just dey go. Take this guy out before he becomes the monster that you will not be able to handle.

Currently he is doing enough damage in the AE with his sit-at-home rule and his UGM boys intimidating and murdering people across the South East.

Pascalloyd:
I'm beginning to suspect you Northerners, it's like you people love what Simon Epka is doing in the South East. I've been reading your comments on Nairaland. Northerners and Yoruba muslims are in support of Simon Epka atrocities in the South East, but God pass Una💯

You may not need to blame all of them. There are some who understands the negative implications of this and would hope earnestly in their hearts that it stops.

Now about the ones who would love this to continue, it is actually borne of a vengeful mindset. When Boko Haram was ravaging the North, majority were mocking the Northerners but a few knew that this was not right because as Yorùbás will say, "the nose should not rejoice at the eyes getting into trouble for whatever affects the eyes will soon affect the nose in a matter of time".

The people who mock the SE now see it as payback time for the mockery they too received. But if one is to take an eye for an eye, the whole world will soon go blind. When Sunday Igboho began his, although less forcefully, I prayed that it will stop soon because there are bad people that will turn it into something else and then before you know it, the hero becomes the villain. I guess Yoruba elders saw this and diplomatically handled it - for now, the struggle should be diplomatic so that saboteurs will not have any rubbish to hide under.

Immaturity is what makes someone to mock his next door neighbour burning house rather than help to douse the fire because his own house could be next in the conflagration.

Nigeria is just a huge crime scene... All that happens in Nigeria defies every logic and laws ever known to men.

It will take more than 8yrs of Peter Obi to undo the damage that APC has brought upon Nigeria.

This is another reason for opponents to doubt your sincerity.

You are already making excuses for him for non-performance throughout 8 years.

This is the same attitude GEJ supporters showed during his time. People that condemn GEJ's government were hurled with insults and curses. I was one of the front line supporters of GEJ when the doctrine of necessity was to be invoked and I also campaigned for the election which he won.

But then he started to fumble so much that he couldn't be defended anymore. And instead of his hard-line followers to criticise him for wrongsoing, they defended his wrongdoings. The difference with Buhari supporters (though not all) is that they do not defend him in his impunity. Even if they won't criticise him because of party affiliation, they'd rather keep quiet and not defend him.

If Peter òbí enters, I'm sure it will be a crime for Nigerians to criticise him for wrongdoing. Ńa curse and abuses una go dey rain on top people wey get differing views.

Penis Captivus, so they call. They even say only a few cases have been recorded worldwide and is not a common occurrence. They say it occurs because of spasm which may accompany anxiety during s3x and some relaxation can help ease the spasm. All these makes it sound scientific and non-spiritual.

But these leave more questions than answers. More confusion that clarity.

Why does it frequently, as against the "infrequently" in oyinbo texts, happen in Africa?

Why does it rarely, perhaps never, occur between legitimate couple no matter how intense the s3x is?

Why does it almost exclusively occur in the setting of infidelity?

Why does it usually get resolved the moment the angered spouse agrees to forgive them and agrees to the seperation at which point a babaláwo steps in and this stuff is reversed?

Perhaps it has some scientific explanation in the concept of spasm because it also occurs in dogs and chickens, but I find it hard to believe that it can't be invoked spiritually. This means that spiritual power and diabolism truly exist.

I remember as a kid when we see two dogs mating, they say if we knock a nail into the ground with a stone at that instance, the two dogs get stuck together like this.

“Politics ended with the governorship election and I took an oath in October to serve the people of Ekiti State irrespective of political affiliation, we are all one in the state and the government will serve the interest of everybody. So, there is no politics in government.

But you still did the opposite few days ago when Atiku came to your state for campaign. In order to frustrate his supporters' commute to his campaign venue, public transport, kèké Napep and fuel stations were barred from operating for that day. Few bikers that worked were sanctioned when caught.

Atiku is indeed a thief, but even a thief has a right to air his own side of the story, but you almost denied him that opportunity.

That's politics you just played in governance. Peter Obi did something similar to Labour Party when he was governor of Anambra state and now it is here to haunt him as the opposition has brought our attention to it and proven it as truth.

Please try to walk your talk else you risk being painted with the same brush as the disappointing Fayemi, and it's just 3 months into your leadership.

You do not need any additional cooling to keep your inverter operational within its normal duty range. A well ventilated room perhaps with a fan blowing directly on the inverter heatsink are more than sufficient.

What was the inverter brand that crapped out? Did you have anything by way of overcurrent/short circuit protection between inverter AC Out and your loads?

You need to see how I bursted out laughing at the bolded. And you just may be right.

The inverter that crapped out was a Chinese made actually, with one obscure name like that, and I didn't expect much life cycle out of it because of that. Initially I was being cautious with its use but later got more confident when it clocked two years without any hiccups.

Installation site is in the rear porch, so my worry is more of dust particulate than of inadequate ventilation.

As for any protection between inverter output to the house mains, there is none save a manual transfer switch (picture attached). It only subserves the purpose of switching between the inverter and gen (very infrequently used). There is no PHCN input into the house, so that NEPA wàhálà section/aspect is not a worry.

Which ones would you suggest is/are used as protection from inverter to the house loads?

NB: that transfer switch was absent ab initio and was only installed along with the installation of the replacement inverter.

Did i tell you that i bleach?

Tell me which african country has ever been able to manage their resources to the point that they can now attract foreign investors?

What particular invention has the black man ever given birth to in this world that we now use today?

Are we not all consumers?

What can we bring to the technological table?

Answer my question

Why the self hate? I used to have similar leaning as yours, not believing that blacks are capable of exponential growth and outstanding performance, but that is what the west wanted you to believe. However I learnt to love my race and see the good in them and then I was able to see that they have been deliberately held down over the centuries.

Now to your question

Tell me which african country has ever been able to manage their resources to the point that they can now attract foreign investors?

There have been many, but I'll give you one that you may find easier to research. The old Libya under Ghadaffi and the new Libya after Ghadaffi. Read why Ghadaffi was killed by the west. Read how he developed his country so much that it was almost better than Saudi, then he didn't borrow a penny from the brettonwoods institution to pull that feat. As AU chairman, he later proposed the establishment of AfDB as a competition to Word Bank.

The point where he completely pissed off the west was his suggestion that Africa start to think of backing up their fiat currency with physical gold instead of the dollar. This would mean that African countries should consider trading with a similar unifying gold-backed currency as the Euro which means that petrodollar concept in Africa will no longer hold. The potential danger of this to the US is that the dollar hegemony will be eroded and Africa will finally be free from encumbrances of the west and move from developing to developed status.

Damn! This was too much for the US and France to take. It became imperative that they take out the guy.

Please I didn't make up this story. It's freely available with research.

An addendum: This African emperor shaped Britain and his bust is at the entrance of the library of Congress in Britain. But guess what colour it is - yes, white. It is whitewashed stone statue. So if you were not told the true story, you will belive it is also one of the white heroes.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVMAd_X6Zk8

And to your second question: What particular invention has the black man ever given birth to in this world that we now use today?

As I said before, it is numerous but deliberate attempt is being made to hide the truth so that you don't see yourself as superior and with potential. But I'll give you just two, while I'll suggest you research the rest.

A black man invented the traffic lights. Garret Morgan had many inventions and patents to his name beyond the traffic light thingy.

A black man invented the automatic drive train that you use in automatic vehicles today.

In schools and white-authored textbooks, it will be emphasised the white guy who invented the telephone, the light bulb etc. But never will it be written the black guy who invented the traffic light, who invented the sewing machine, who invested the fastest computer (emegwali) or the Nigerian who discovered Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) that long term American footballl players suffer. Something which has changed the face of that sport forever.

https://www.autoblog.com/2021/06/19/juneteenth-black-history-african-american-automtive-inventions-entrepreneurs/

Then try to read up the story of "the black Wall Street", a burgeoning black owned community that was deliberately attacked, destroyed and burnt by white supremacists when it became apparent that black slaves were getting a foothold in the US.

Good morning guys. Recently a standalone 4kw continuous PSW inverter crapped out while using it to pump water (1hp). I do not think the pump was responsible cos the inverter has been used for this function at least twice weekly for a whole year. It's only the AC output that failed and also the output LED digital indicator failed. Battery LED indicator still shows the voltage of the battery input. Still hope to get it repaired.

But with the lack of a suitably sized backup and short of funds, I was compelled to immediately secure a replacement but this time went hybrid for the first time. 48v 5kw felicity with parallel and batteryless fxtn. Already installed and doing fine.

However I am thinking if there are other cares with its use to make it last much longer. Does it make any sense getting a water-cooled set to further augment the cooling function of the in-built fan? Something like in the attached picture.

Hmmm!

I just pity 3rd world countries. They have to struggle with loan interest repayment and economic growth.

I see global protest but this is not right.

Tech companies that adopted globalization are getting burnt. Are we expecting another pandemic?

A global melt down of the debt ceiling is not raise by June?

Do you know what’s going on?

@bolded. You don't need to be too worried about that. This issue of de-globalisation is more or less a form of re-alignment accompanied by globalisation on a more less scale.

Why do you think the US hurriedly organised an Africa leaders' summit for African countries, something they did not deem necessary for over 12 years (the last one being 2002) whereas China has organized three of similar retreat for African countries within the same time space?

Africans have particularly not done excellently with loans from the World Bank and other similar Bretton woods institutions. The popular saying right now is that "When the west does business with you, they want to control your internal affairs. But when China does business with you, they want to do business with you"

The truth is that Africa is the oil field of the new movement and the struggle for it has already begun. Its just that China and Russia has been wise enough to make far reaching inroads into the continent farther than the US and the west ever envisaged, China especially with their Belt-and-road-initiative. A recent survey that was done across Africa showed that Africans and their leaders generally have become more comfortable with China than with the US and the west.

Africa has resources and the good thing is that China and countries like Russia have begun to help African countries to harness its use in manufacturing while at the same time also carrying some of the resource to their own country. If you desire, China will help you to construct chocolate factories to process your cocoa, but they will also ask that you supply cocoa to their own chocolate factories in their countries at cheaper costs. After all, they have the population adequate for patronage. This is in sharp contrast to what the US has always done which is hauling all your resources to their country without also helping you to harness the use of such resource in your own capacity no matter how little. In addition, they also destroy your environment during the mining process.

A Chinese emmisary that visited SA at about the same time a US secretary was travelling across Africa discouraging African countries from having deals with China had this to say: "A US secretary is travelling across Africa on Chinese constructed roads, using Chinese constructed airports and seaports to convince Africans not to have dealings with China" This statement is indeed true.

It appears that the rest of the world may not really do excellently without resources from Africa. This especially holds true with France who depend so much on many things, human resource, money and natural resources coming out of Africa. Do you know that the insurgency crises in Borno state Nigeria is not without the knowledge of France. Indeed, France has been a accused of fanning the embers of insurgency across west Africa. The case of Borno state is mainly because of the oil that was discovered there, at its border with french-administered Chad. This means that the oil in Chad favours France. But the problem is that the topography of the area favours the Nigerian side of the black gold discovery. Water or any liquid for that matter finds its own level and flows more to a lower level. Hence the moment oil exploration begins in Borno side, there will be little or nothing left for France to get at the Chad side. Hence crises needed to be maintained in the area to prevent exploration. Of course this will be in cahoots with some self centred and selfish Nigerian saboteurs who must have been promised a largesse by the French government.

Russia-Ukraine conflict has led to energy crises in many European nations and with a looming Middle East unrest, Brent crude is likely to hit a new high in the coming months, meaning higher energy bills for an already inflation-ladened west. Europe had actually visited Nigeria with the hope of getting gas supplies via pipeline from us. Currently the pipeline passes thru Morocco but it may likely be extended to Europe if the deals go thru. So Russia-Ukraine conflict may actually be a blessing in disguise for Nigeria.

What I'm trying to point out here is that Africa may actually do quite well without the "encumberances" disguised as "globalisation" from the west once we have a more reasonable partner like China and Russia. Saudi Arabia is also already solidifying relationship with China and are likely to be granted membership (alongside Turkey) into the BRICS in the next meeting to be held in South Africa.

Do you know that Saudi Arabia has contracted China to help it replicate one of the fast trains that they have in Saudi too? Meanwhile the US Amtrack in a technologically advanced USA can still not boast of a fast train for decades. The reason for that deliberate stagnation, which of course is politically motivated is a story for another day. To know that the capacity of China in construction cannot be overlooked, they are also handling the construction of a nuclear reactor in UK (partly funded by China and UK government)

When you buy from Aliexpress (in dollars) using Dollar cards from commercial banks in Nigeria, there is no special charges. The total cost of your item is exactly what will be deducted from your dollar card.

What you're supposed to be concerned with is, how much you bought the dollars from the black market.

The problem with the GT card is the 10usd surcharge on card issuance. I think that's on the high side. Although I heard that UBA is worse sef with 20usd as annual surcharge.

Then the problem of going to Aboki physically and also walking into the bank to physically deposit OTC may be undesirable for some, even though you may end up buying from Aboki at around 745 naira as at today versus 771 naira for some of these online apps.

Nonetheless, the ease of just fund transfer from your own bank on your phone and subsequently having a loaded virtual dollar card usable anywhere is a comfort one might not mind sacrificing physical dollar card for.

You made a good observation.

Did you see what happened to Rhosesia, which later became Zimbabwe?

That's a typical example of how the black man wrecks an economy.
A black man knows nothing about building.
His lot is to enjoy, consume and destroy.

In few years time, you won't recognize South Africa.

Actually it is all about the mindset, positive reinforcement of good behaviour and negative reinforcement of the opposite. World over, countries and continents are replete of very bad and corrupt rulers but the system is what plays the role.

Remember the EU prime minister who was accused of bribery and corruption with Qatar bid for the world Cup. The woman corruption story even spread tentacles reach Morocco in Africa sef. Actually nothing has been done to her yet, and maybe nothing will be done. Even Joe Biden and his son chop enter corruption allegations sef.

In contrast, we have had African leaders who had very promising leadership and were on the verge of breakthrough to taking their countries out of the path of decadence, from financial crises to prosperity, but they were all taken care of by the colonialists. They use methods which range from sponsoring of coups to outright assassination. Thomas Sankara was one. Mohammed Ghadaffi was one. Even Abiola of Nigeria that was poisoned was one of such. President's and leaders that are noticed to have their country's interest more than the interest of the west are usually endangered. Which is why I fear for the erstwhile Rwandan president because he may sooner or later be in the cross hairs of those people.

Thank God you agreed with me but dumping news gotten from the BBC totally because of the colonial past and propaganda does not take away the fact that some news in that medium concerning Africa are credible.
I will also let you know that it is not all about BBC alone. Take it or leave it, it is the whole of the western media. Do you think everything you read on The Economist or Wall Street Journal concerning Africa are credible? Far from it.

Ha, those ones are even worse sef. I don't completely discard mews media from the far left, because doing so will also mean probably having a bias for news from far right, which means I'll be guilty of the same thing I'm accusing them of. So what I do is have balanced view from both sides, make my researches, sieve out the lies and grab the truths.

It will take sometime to forgive myself for totally falling for western propaganda and lies against Africa in times past. Moama Ghadaffi comes to mind. As an African, I believed he was a very evil man according to the narratives of Western media. Alas it too late now because a man who cared for his own people, eliminated poverty, developed his country and planned to bring the same mindset to Africa as a whole thereby reducing reliance of Africa on the west, was murdered by the same people who would want us to continue to giddy up to them.

Now Libya is a ghost of her former self and past glory.

The relationships they maintain with such colonies are not exactly borne out of sincerity if you must know. BBC is a British propaganda machine which is basically in favour of Britain.

Independent new sources abound in the social media space like you tube and Internet browsing. There you can get facts, usually unbiased about African affairs.

In fact, load shedding has recently been the bane of the UK itself with limitations in gas supply as a fall out of Russia-Ukraine war. But you won't see the UK say this on BBC Africa for Africans to hear, no. They will only say such news on their own media at home. Instead, they will broadcast to you a flawless utopia of their society. Accepted that their societies are well organized, but it is not what you as Africans can't achieve or even surpass if you put your minds to it. But the BBC Africa will rather broadcast to you a "troubled, backward, hopeless and unfortunate Africa".

The fallacy of generalisation, I'd say. Not every Nigerian man disrespect the marriage institution. A lot of Nigerian men are actually faithful to their spouses.

Having said that, African marriage is traditionally polygamous, and it is the white man that came here to demonize something that has worked favourably for both the African man and African woman.

They tell us that our polygamous marriages are evil, but they want to impress it upon us to accept their own serial divorce and LGBTQ lifestyle as an ideal lifestyle.
