Harbb: This is a nice thread. You could get it scanned for probable check engine problems. If error codes are discovered that needs repairs or replacements, it should be addressed. But occasionally, these light might remain on even after the problem's been addressed in which case the errors can somewhat be deleted or reset to make the light go off - I want to safely assume that deleting the unnecessary errors will not interfere with subsequent functioning of the check engine light - I stand ve be corrected. |
lacasa: Hello all,Usually when accelerating from rest, the engine needs rapid and good supply of fuel and air mixture to give that acceleration compared to when you'd already attained a high or constant speed at which the engine simply cruises on the attained momentum and therefore requires little fuel supply at that speed. A bad fuel pump, clogged fuel filter or a dirty or dusty air filter might not allow enough fuel-air mixture required to provide the power needed for a rapid acceleration or rapid take-off hence the "jerking" by the engine the moment you floor the pedal. Have your mechanic check out those things with the possibility of having 'em replaced. Our dusty roads in this country usually clogs these filters faster than normal. |
dpresido: Nice thread....Pls I nid tip on my Baby Boy 2000, The steering is a bit stiffed. Used to be flexible than this before. Have topped de transmission fluid and still same. ThanksThe transmission has little or nothing to do with the steering. I hope you meant to say the "power steering fluid" which of course also uses same fluid as the tranny. Usually if well gauged, your steering flexibility should be restored except if there's a leak somewhere which will be indicated by a rapid reduction in the fluid gauge or maybe the power steering pump had gone bad. Good luck. |
luvinhubby: @yomexIn fact, that ABRO isn't good for gears on any car for that matter. Leave it standing for long enough and you'll see particles sedimented at the bottom. Had to change the auto tranny in my primera twice within a year cos I kept using ABRO as the gear fluid. 'Twas on the second occasion that the Ibo guy selling me the gear adviced me to steer clear of ABRO (good only for power steering) and use TOTAL Dextron (less chances of getting adulterated) instead with the new tranny. 7 months now and it's still working fine. |

Sirwilly4u :You can download third party you tube players for symbian on line. Heck you can even get an app to download those videos in whatever formats you choose for later viewing on your phone or PC. Try nokiaVNN.com |
ahmmyreal: lol.. symbian better than android? this question shouldn't be asked. the difference is clear! I guess you haven't used a good android phone before comparing symbian to android. symbian is dead. you should be com pairing iOS to Android and not symbian. on Android u can install computer OS, can u do that on symbian? what will u be doing with a 32mp camera phone? when it is not a digital camera. seriously you need to do some digging before posting. jedisco: Is it that you people don't read or what?[b]ahmmyreal: lol.. symbian better than android? this question shouldn't be asked. the difference is clear! Bro, look at it this way most people going for android are going for all the hype. Like its been stated here over and over again and asked over and over again. What does an Android do that a symbian device can't do? Mafia4life: Bros nor talk am ooo. There are MANY, I mean PLENTY things andriod can do that my beloved symbian cannot do.See you masef dey F-..up for here. Android get a version of "SYM-EYE"? Heck no! You launch it and have your belle phone monitor movements in that area. It's able to identify the number of objects/people that crosses its field of view, video-records 'em (duration of record is user programmable), e-mails or MMSes you the video while at the same time SMSing you an alert to a predefined phone number telling you how many objects/people, time of movement and time of leaving phones field of vision. Abegi wetin!!! |
Promxy94: lie of d century both d resistive & capacitive of Nokia works wit broom stick,k coming to apps do u hav talkin tom on ur symbian or ovi market, the ansa is capital no,not to talk of many more Andriod apps.up Andriod Ogidi-Olu:Abegi tell am o. The guy just dey argue like primary 1 pupil. Talking tom? Msscheeeew. Enter nokia store and just type in "talking" alone in the search box and see if you'd not be greeted by a barage of "talking whatever" you can think of. |
Promxy94: Nokia devices their touchscreens are wacks, even a broom stick touchd on it wil operate it,bt andriods are customised to work wit ur finger print,or sensitive part of d body.Andriod os are gr8,to me they r d world leading osChai! Dude you wanna sound like a tech savvy but only ended up exposing your crass ignorance. But I'll nonetheless open your eyes. You see, the earliest generation of touchscreen technology (which is still of significance relevance today) was the RESISTIVE touch. It works by making contacts between two layers sandwiched and seperated by a transparent filter. The various contacts between the two layers that occur when you press the screen is then interpreted by a complex circuitry. This is the type that could work with both your finger and stylus (which could practically be any object with a point including the guitar pick/plectrum in the nokia 5320 package) and probably the type that worked with your improvised "broomstick" stylus. Nokia had explored this technology even before apple ventured into it. It is still been employed by china phones, car touch radios and some other low to mid end gadgets including those you need to use when wearing gloves (eg medical equipments or used by ice travellers). An improvement on the technology involves the inclusion of multitouch technology which still makes it of relevance in mid-range phones today. Later came the capacitive touch technology which works with sensation of change in the relative capacitance created by the presence of warmth or the miniscule potential difference created by living tissues. While this means more sensitivity and less pressure on the screen before instituting commands, it has little application in places as the ice-cold poles where you'd need to be in gloves, ditto medical equipments. This technology has added features as multi-touch, swipe, etc. It's this technology that has been developed by both nokia and apple in the race against each other for touchscreen superiority that google woke up one day to apply in their first ever devices. So android was never the forebearer of touchscreen technology. I hope this, however short it is, has sufficiently installed or updated - as the case may be - your knowledge of which side of the divide wins in your bid to use touchscreen technology as an arguement. Belle all the way. |
Fairgodwin: Funny enough, my mother still sells this (exercise) book (in her shop). . WTF. D'you know what you're saying dude? Are you in this realm at all? . |

clemmonce: did people actually use slate to write in those days ?Yeah, with chalk. Boy when were you born?! It was the easiest way to teach kiddergaten and nursery the rudiments without wasting so much books. If they make mistake, just clean with a duster. We would always leave them back at school when going home and get it distributed to us every school morning for the days work. <crying> oh those sweet old times. |

Scarpon: hell yes we talking about 90's and early 200090's? Well it was in the early 80's thru early 90's. Can't really say if this book was available by the 00's. I think books like "standard exercise book" were beginning to replace the "Olympic exercise book" by then. |
mohumyta: The back of this book was my GOOGLE search for cheating on those multiplication table.First work in the class after assembly is to recite 1 x 1= 1This is how we recite it :- Two TANS one - Two Two TANS two - Four Two TANS "Sebin" - Fourteen Two TANS "Elebin" - twenty - two and you get to be caned if you fail to recite nos one to twelve multiplication. Then we'll make fun of those who can't recite properly. But come to think of it, can our children nowadays recite this thing the way we do then? I wonder. Oh my, oh my. Those good old times - Do I loooooooove 'em. |
mbhs139: Sometimes in 1993 or there about, the famous novelist, Jeofree Archer, and a member of the British House of Lords, was jailed for three years for lying. We have our own version of good people too na. For example, I myself that I'm talking to you. Another example like me is Prof. Akunyili, former NAFDAC chairman who returned an excess of a money used for treatment abroad. |
gboss4sure: You and Afam4eva must be gays for saying nothing is wrong with homosexuality. Also "trent9002". I guess they're trying to preamble revealing their own orientation too. NLanders, brace yourselves for the shocker!!! |
.NET:"I LOVE this guy as a person. Why would he do this?". Now why do I think that sounds gay-ish? Hey dude, watch your utterances o, or better still the words you use, now that suprises are all over and people coming out with shocking revelations. |
Boboribo: How does an android user in say Kano send a photo of an event in Kano instantly to a friend in Lagos and the friend in Lagos will get instantly. Give me asnwers too for music, videos and URL links. I use a BB currently. Moved from S40 and all this BB is shi.t stuff is making me wonder. I want to learn please.Symbian, Android, i-Crap, and even s40 users can conveniently do that using whatsapp. It's what I currently use for my cross platform communication. You can send music, pictures, videos and even applications if you don't wanna do it over e-mails. Isn't the symbian world breathtaking? Yes, I know.
