I will disagree with Sowore on some of his opinions. “Only a fool will consult with a thief when repairing his burgled door” - Yoruba proverb. The proverb holds true, but OBJ has every right to endorse who he believes in. OBJ as a president made great development strides in the polity of the country. His first term saw the improvement of the standard of living of Nigerians and the military and paramilitary in particular had it rosy under OBJ. His policies included but not limited to the creation of the antigraft agencies and with his non-partisan nature, was able to bring to book anybody that tried any nonsense in the civil service. He is a pan-Nigerian who ensured that every part of the country has representation in form of, not just anybody, but technocrats and people who merited the position they occupied. People like NOI, the late Dora Akunyili, Soludo, and even El Rufai himself were all products of OBJ'non-partisan politics. The point where he lost it all was his inordinate third term ambition which gladly was truncated by both well meaning Nigerians and even the non-patriotic ones whose disparage about the good works of OBJ was their only driving force to oppose the third term ambition. It even got to a point that people believed OBJ's penchant for actively opposing Yoruba political aspirants was borne out of his fear of being outshined by people that come after him. On national TV, and on the eve of the elections that Awolowo participated in, OBJ as the then head of state said and I quote "the best candidate may not necessarily win this election". This is coming at a point where he was already being suspected of having a bias against the sagacity and the likely success of Awolowo as a president which will likely dwarf his own (OBJ's) recognition as a Yoruba leader. And of course Awolowo never got that position. ObJ was also actively against the emergence of MKO Abiola when he went to South Africa and there publicly made a statement that Abiola should not be allowed to be the president. And Abiola did not attain that position. During his return stint as a democratically elected president, he was actively against Tinubus's policies in Lagos State such that he denied the latter funds in order to frustrate governance in the state. Against all odds, Tinubu was able to weather the storm and did something worthwhile without reliance on federal allocation from OBJ. OBJ was strongly against the announcement of June 12 as democracy day in Nigeria. The holiday which was legislated by Buhari was an agreement reached between him and Tinubu as a matter of national interest and in the event that he gets elected for a second term, the second term which Tinubu earnestly worked for and which OBJ actively worked against. Having said all the above, OBJ is known to always, either in speech or in writing, have some condemnation to give about the government of the day. He did it against Shehu shagari. He did it against IBB. He did it against Sanni Abacha, which was what angered the latter to the point that he accused him of staging a phantom coup which nearly caused OBJ his life. He also did it to his handpicked GEJ. This implies that in the event that Obi wins, a time will come that he will also write a letter condemning Obi. It is a good thing for past leaders to call present ones to order because that is the role expected of political elders and ex-officio and I without any reservations like it that OBJ takes that as his duty. He has even authored some books which serve as repository of Nigerian history for the upcoming generations, something which other past presidents of the country have not deemed fit to do. The letter that OBJ has just written was not directed to Obi, but directed to Nigerian youths. It only suggests his endorsement of Obi and as he rightly puts him, as "a needle with a thread". This may mean different things to different people. To OBJ, it may imply Obi being able to be under his control as opposed to Tinubu who has challenged him before or Atiku whom he shared a tumultuous mandate with in his years as president. Still to some it may imply that Obi is not yet a "man of himself" to reject propositions from political godfathers. In all of these, it is simply OBJ being himself - authoring letters as he loves to do and I don't think he deserves any condemnation for doing that. For Sowore to now attach OBJ's history of political kleptocracy directly with that of Obi's recent unveiling of political kleptocracy in the Panama papers, is to me a futile mental exercise. There is greater possibility that Òbí will decide to be his own man, backstab OBJ, constitute his own circle of thieves and nepotistic governance and everything continues the way they were. At that time, OBJ will again put pen to paper to condemn the government. Buhari did such, engaging in clannish and nepotistic distribution of political positions, something that began the downward spiral of his government. It got so bad that even his wife (Aisha) had to speak out. Time will tell. |
Having a life of both worlds isn't a bad idea though. The most insanely great part is having the funds to go round the world, visiting many countries at interval. Then come back to Nigeria again for recess. But you can only get this opportunity fully if you already have the bucks, have a big and booming business in Nigeria or overseas and if you are a corrupt Nigerian politician or the kids of a Nigerian politician. |
Dude is balling. This is the kinda men Andrew Tate likes to brag about. |
Is this Dino that FFK accuses of being a h0m0s3xual? An accusation which may hold true giving that Melaye has always ended up separating from the many ladies that were married to him. And the fact that it is coming from FFK, well, gives some credence to it. After all only a thief knows well the footprints of another thief on the rocks. |
Lighthammer:The first two are agents used actively in general anaesthesia - their good uses. S/he will have an ECG monitor hooked on to keep monitoring the progress. The syringes will be mounted on automated micro-dispensers which will be controlled with the press of buttons by an operator. The operator stands outside a two way glass in another room also occupied by eyewitnesses (usually anyone who is interested) to the execution. Once the potassium is injected, the heart stops at diastole and the ECG indicates by flatlining. Since S/he was of little benefit to mankind while alive, he may perhaps be of immense benefit to flora in death. So S/he should not be allowed to go to waste. After all, the same US approved shis transition to another sex while he was alive. So they might as well equally apply the policy on "composting" shis body to shim. See below.

Wetin he/she do nau that the alphabet people can't fight for his/her right to life? Incrediblekutty:L-G-B-T-Q-U- balablu-blubu-bulaba That's alphabet. AlaafinOfOyo:You're late to the party. Where have you been for Pete's sake? This has been happening fir years and you dare not discourage a "confused" child from hormonal or surgical change to achieve the gender of choice, even if he or she is your biological ward, else you risk getting arrested. The new trend now is people identifying as something else and adopting pronouns in that regards, a choice that you need to respect else you get arrested. So for instance I can decide to henceforth identify as an ambulance. And my pronouns will be "pin/pọn". That means you should henceforth call me "ambulance". So if you wanna refer to me in the third person to someone else, you say: Hey, has "ambulance" been to work today? Tell pin/pọn to see me in the office when pin/pọn signs in to work. |
Without the G5, ẹ don do be that. PDP no dey go anywhere. |
The wife wasn't smiling in that picture. Could it be that Basket mouth was not being good to her OR She already was cheating with a side man that makes her smile more than her husby could ever do. With either of the two in the mix, it was eventually guaranteed to hit the rocks. |
iPhone 5 babes that time: Ha, so the runz wey I do with my body to get the iPhone 5 that time don waste be that? Me wey dey use Nokia torchlight presently: Thank God my Nokia no dey affected. ![]() |
callthefred:Haaa! This guy ńa badho ooo. I will find it difficult to believe that he is innocent in the case of his in-law. From investigations, he is a serious predator. So he may have fantasized about his in-law and carried out the act. Go on telegram, search for "gistlover", you get his story and even videos of him in the act, videos that he himself recorded probably for binging on at moments he is alone. |
How about putting it this way: "Women who forbid polygamy for their southern husbands are contributing to prostitution" |
Well, Hmmm. |
ufotunang:Innoson is not aggressive with regards to marketing his products to Nigerians. GAC motors in the South West for instance has mortgage packages in conjuction with banks. You can acquire their vehicles with an initial 10 percent payment while you pay the balance on instalments basis over some years, 4 years I think. This is why you see a lot of GAC motors on Nigerian roads. Apparently, only the government is able tp get items on credit from innoson motors. As long as you are a private individual, you will be expected to make full payment before you can pick up innoson products. Then there is this problem of overzealous misrepresentation of Innoson by some people (not innoson himself but some overzealous noise makers). I had a personal experience. The other time I saw an innoson SUV in use in one of the FG institutions in the South west and I was so impressed that I told one of my colleagues I was going to put an innoson vehicle in my cart cos I needed to drive one of his products. Guess what the response of this my colleague and friend who happens to be an Igbo is? "If it weren't for we Igbos, you won't have the opportunity of driving a locally manufactured automobile", yes that was his immature response to a patriotic Nigerian willing to patronise home grown product. I was pained that someone I associate with and with that level of exposure had to be so pedestrian and emotional, so I schooled him. ¶ Dangote happens to be a rich African who is into manufacturing and owns companies in African countries, yet you don't hear Hausas say that Nigerians wouldn't have had the opportunity to access cement if not for a Hausa man Dangote. ¶ Mike Adenuga brought globacom that destroyed the monopoly of MTN and made GSM ownership an affordable thing for many Nigerians at the initial stage and forced MTN to bring down their prices. Globacom is available in Ghana and a few other African countries, yet you don't hear Yorùbás brag about this. Proforce in Ogun State supplies Nigerian army, Ecowas and Portugal military trucks, but whenever the glory is to be given, what you hear is "if its not for Nigerians", you don't hear "if it's not for Yorùbás". I told him I was dissapointed and pained that he had to utter such statement. So y'all can imagine how much damage the many unguarded and emotional outbursts of such manner can do to relationship amongst everyday Nigerians, just as it happens on nairaland. Now some people were arguing that the FG under Buhari had not patronised Innoson whereas the facts say otherwise. Cyprin:Innoson has his manufacturing licence under partly mitsubishi motor and majorly under another Chinese motor company. He uses their auto parts under licence to manufacture his own brand. He locally manufactures the plastic parts and chairs etc (innoson is also into plastic tank manufacturing) but imports the engines and parts that can't be manufactured here. Batteries are sourced for locally from another factory in Nigeria. GAC automobile Nigeria chose to retain the original name of the company. They could have changed their name too and continue using the parts from GAC. |
Sad. How can a full grown and fully mature man have a thing for a barely nubile, hardly female-featured little girl of eight? If the father was accused of rape, then somehow he may truly be guilty. But since the court has given their final verdict, the next trial is with He (the judge) who sees beyond what every human knows. If the father was truly guilty, he has a date with the incorruptible judge on the last day. |
Ha, few days ago another lance corporal drove his car over a brigadier General and killed him. |

Atiku is just "vowing" upandan. The other time he vowed to privatise the power industry if elected president, thinking that Nigerians have forgotten in a hurry what his "privatisation" strategy as vice president under Obasanjo ended up with. This was the main reason OBJ said he regretted having him as vice. OBJ put him in charge of the privatisation programme but he ended up balkanizing and selling off most of the government owned companies to himself at El cheapo rates, and not with the sole aim of making them work but simply stripping them down the way butchers strip down accidented cars and sell off the parts. Politicians are like women before marriage, only a miniscule few of them turn out to do what they promised. Before marriage: Just take me in. I will give you all the styles you want in this world and make your wildest s3xual fantasies come thru. After marriage: Ah hàn! Wetin do you ńa? U no dey tire? Ńa everytime you wan dey do. Abeg na only when I need pikin I dey ready to do anything with una ó. |
Alien phenomenon, it is. They live amongst us. Muhahahahaha ![]() However on a more serious note, they mentioned the possibility of circling disease caused by the bacterium Listeria monocytogenes as a likely explanation for the wierd behaviour. However if it was Listeriosis, the animals would have died after 2 to 4 days. That notwithstanding, the suspicion of Listeriosis is a serious issue that should be tackled before the bacteria gets into the human population and a zoonosis. Humans are known to be infected by this organism. The sheep owner, identified as Ms. Miao, claimed the spectacle began with a few sheep before the whole flock joined, Metro reported. Although there are 34 sheep pens at the farm, only the sheep in one of the pens — number 13 — have been acting this way.The name of the owner is somehow sha, like the sound of a cat ![]() |
Oya, Hisbah police to the venue. Oh, sorry the news said Abuja. I thought I read Kano. Nonetheless, we all are aware of the uprising going on in Iran at the moment, all due to the overzealousness of those they call Islamic police in their country. The lady lost her life because of what they call "improper way of wearing hijab". She did wore a hijab, but they deemed it inappropriately donned. |
This support of Wike for Peter Obi seems to me a strategic and tactical approach rather than borne out of sincerity. Wike needs to show Atiku, a PDP, who Oga is in his home state Rivers. So in what way can he do it other than to use the potential splitter/divider/spoiler of PDP votes in the SS and Ṣe - Peter Obi. |
FreeStuffsNG:It was all planned to take her out. Arotile as a pilot was so good that she kept being a serious problem for the terrorists in the forests with her precision hits and bombings. Her presence caused a major setback for the Northern terrorists. They had to take her out. I believe this too was planned. Perhaps some colleagues have scores to settle with him. He was in finance and may have dirty money secrets of some senior colleagues. Remember that the present government will soon leave, meaning a number of probes in the military will likely be conducted. |
Waoh. Those little kids of yesteryears. Just like yesterday. Omo, I don old small ó. |

I have received around six to seven WhatsApp messages (from different numbers) claiming to facilitate recruitments into Amazon Nigeria and claim you can earn income ranging from twenty thousand to two hundred thousand naira hourly as you work from home. Attractive offer right? It indeed sound so. However a link is attached which you are required to click in other to continue your processing. I have never allowed myself to be tempted to click that link ever because my first instinct is that this is a way they will use to hack your whatsapp account and thereafter take over all the groups you belong to where they subsequently mine the phone numbers of other members that they still send similar messages to. In some instances, they will keep inundating the group chats with annoying scam messages of people making money after investing just one thousand naira, posting screenshots of bank account balance to back up such claims. They keep doing this until such time the group admin's attention is called to the anomaly and such number is blocked. Sometimes the group member whose account was hacked quickly gets across to the group members notifying them of a potential hacker in the group using his/her number. In certain instances, because the hacker by virtue of gaining access to the group chats is already privy to information about the group including itineraries of members, such hackers who also may be kidnappers deviced easy ways to plan abductions of members of such group chats. My advice therefore is to ignore such messages and do not be tempted to click the links attached. Simply delete the messages or screenshot and use it to educate other potential victims on the need to be alert. The subgroup vulnerable to this include job seekers. I believe those in this group will be tech savvy enough not to easily fall into this trap. Besides examples of those that have fallen victims and the consequences of such abound as free information on the Internet, including from friends and acquaintances, which is sufficient to raise suspicions about such enticing offers. Another age group susceptible to being easily scammed are the elderly age groups (our fathers and mothers) who aged into, rather than born into the digital era. We should educate them specially and impress it upon them to inform us of any suspicious malicious activities or incidences outside the usual which they may come across in the course of using their devices. Now that Elon Musk has fired half of the wok force of twitter, we should expect a new wave or modification of this scam, this time using "under directives from twitter CEO, Elon Musk", in place of Amazon Nigeria. Best regards.

priceactionx: nedekid:Thanks for the explanation. I'd always been at a loss as to why I get flashed these random international numbers. I found out some were international calling codes of countries like Netherlands which got me more confused as I have no contacts in those countries. I also wondered why "flashes" instead of outrightly calling. By the way, this problem is on one of my glo numbers, recently purchased. It does not happen to my old glo numbers or other networks too. I've never called back cos to me it makes no sense for anyone out there to expect me to call from Nigeria knowing that I will spend more to do that than if he or she calls me. By the way, attached is another WhatsApp scammer that I just laugh at his/her foolishness with the message sent.

kevoh:Yet they are mulling the idea of cancelling dependent visa attached to study. They have not woken up to the reality that Nigerians majorly school in the UK because of the opportunity to take their family along to a new environment. They have been able to take so much into their economy from Nigerians bringing money into their economy. By the time they cancel that dependent visa, Nigerians will look for other friendly countries to divert their monies too and jettison the UK. Ńa dat time dem go know say dem don add to their economic crises wàhálà. Germany and other Scandinavian countries are gradually becoming attractive places for Nigerians. higgs:Sorry to burst your bubble. The CBN suspending it will not be enough deterrent for Nigerians who wish to relocate overseas. The country is what pushes Nigerians away. Insecurity, rising poverty and financial inequality, just to mention a few. In 2019, 1.2 million Chinese travelled outside their country to the west to study. Guess how many came back after study? 1.2 million. This is because their country is a good place to live and they come back to input their acquired knowledge back into building their economy. We literarily are reliving the old years of human slavery by this emigration, only this time it is a new age slavery. Many Nigerians will love to come home to a place where their future is assured and safety is guaranteed. Let Nigeria leaders make the country better and see if people will not itch to come back. |
Kwanza:Sad. Rest in peace. Did he get the covid flu shot too? An unusual number of deaths have been occurring worldwide in the past months. Remember the Saudi businessman who few months ago also slumped in less than a minute he mounted the podium to give his speech before an audience. In the US alone, a frightenly high incident of deaths between ages 15 to 50 years have occurred within these few months. A US senator announced last week that he lost his 18 year old daughter to what the medical records say is "cardiac arrest". She had gone to bed the previous night but did not wake up the following morning. Like what is an apparently healthy 18 year old doing with cardiac arrest? |
Arrested or killed? Àbí you want Buhari to again release them a day before he signs out? |
What effrontry! The EFCC arranging a whole Prince Andrew, a black prince of British royalty. What utter nonsense! The king must hear of this and demand their heads on a platter. |
This case is still on. But the case of that of the killer in Enugu who lures unsuspecting female job seekers to rape and murder them was finished in less than 6 months. Okay ó |
For Atiku bah?! Good. Fulani continua, terrorism ascerta. |
