JOACH3K5: Please how can i use a java Nokia 2690 phone to compress large files?
Eeerr...I don't think that's possible with java phones as of now. It's a possibility on a symbian phone though, if you own one. Just have the powerful file explore app "xplore" installed. It's available for free on www.lonelycatgames.com and it's good for creating and opening .zip, .rar and .jar files as the case may be.

Aluweezy: pls, i'l like to knw how to convert a ZIP file to JAR file using blueftp and also to download whatsapp on my phone. Am using a nokiaX2-01....thanks
puplin: How can u be thinking of converting a .zip file to .jar? That doesn't make sense one bit. Just go to www.whatsapp.com from your phone browser and download the file for s40 devices.
Aluweezy: pls, i'l like to knw how to convert a ZIP file to JAR file using blueftp and also to download whatsapp on my phone. Am using a nokiaX2-01....thanks
Another twist to the question is that probably he meant to say changing the extension in a zip file ".zip" to jar extension ".jar". Some people, to bypass some internet restrictions rename .jar extensions to .zip extensions for easy uploading and downloading of the file. Then you're expected to reverse the process on completion of download on your end. In this case, you'll require a symbian phone with the powerful file manager "xplore" (available on www.lonelycatgames.com) installed. Once done, you're good to go.

As for the whatsapp, simply visit www.whatsapp.com on your phone browser after which it automatically detects your phone model type and the version appropriate for it is highlighted or you may be prompted to select your phone type after which the download tab becomes available for you to click. On the alternative, open the nokia store app on your phone and type it in the search box. Note that a one time registration may be required of you before you download from nokia store, otherwise, at best the only thing you are allowed is to browse through the store. Hope these help.

Dis Guy: we just like big cars for some reason undecided
You'll also notice, there are very few coupe on the road
everyone wants a big family car even if its only them driving 7days a week

This car will be very nice for calmer states like ogun and kwara
in Lagos you'll get bullied off the road-you'll be mistaken for a new version
of keke napep by those crazy okada riders grin
Rebranded Keke NAPEP. Lol. Lawd a' mercy.

One driver uses it at T-junctions believing he is telling other drivers he is neither making a right or left turn.

I just hope I've been able to correct the particular guy.

TrueAfrican: Hi Guys,

My friend is in the process of applying for funding to enable her found a Non-Profit to fight chronic diseases in Africa. This lady is an achiever. She has some great achievements to her name - (attained MSc at age 19, Co-founded a students' society that raised funds to provide mosquito nets for rural dwellers in Nigeria and Cameroun, she's a writer, a poet, and a scientist!). So you can be sure that when she wins, she will achieve what she has set out to do.

To win, she will need the support of well wishers of Nigeria and Africa. All you need to do to play a part in her victory is to click on the link

http://crs.applications.grandchallenges.ca/en/viewVideo/28735E6AA7EC3AA87E7E6B and register to vote. A link will be sent to your email to ensure that you only vote once. Click on that link and find Ebele's video on Application no. 234. Click the 'like' button. And your part is over! You may want to do more by helping convince your friends to vote. That will be going the extra mile.

Please help vote for Ebele. She's currently number 2 which is a great feat for a Nigerian (African) living abroad. All she needs now is our individual votes and, perhaps, a vote from at least one friend.

Help fight diseases in Africa! Vote Ebele!!

Many Thanks.
My 2 kobo advice and sincerely, ask your friend to change her name from "Ebele" to something better and a non-notorious name. Then people can comfortably start trooping in to vote for her without first thinking it's for him (You know the "him" I'm talking about).

Why didn't he (Fashola) prosecute the erring driver responsible for Da grin's accident? Would he (Fashola) had done same if it was an ordinary man that was delayed in such manner? How many of such contravention of Sections 28(i), 39(3) of
the Traffic Act 548, 36 (P), 44 (1)
Cap. 172, Vol. 7 of the Road Traffic
Law of Lagos State of Nigeria and Section 126 (1) of the Federal

Godogwu: Every president has his critics, even Obama has a wide range of them, therefore it is no surprise that GEJ has some too. Most people just started hating on the guy after the price of gasoline increased( the whole subsidy saga). Personally I don't believe he is the perfect president, there is never one..... But I have heard him talk, watched his interviews and I will say that he has great plans for the country. I'm really not into the whole tribalistic debate, the president can come from anywhere....I don't really care, what intrest me is our country's growth and indeed we have started to achieve that growth (the third fastest growing world economy). If someone died in 2000 and was resurrected this year, that person will notice the great positive change in the country. Finally, bad mouthing Nigeria or the president will most definitely not better the situation of the country, same thing as tribalism...... Nigeria needs its citizens to believe that one day, in the nearest future it will be proclaimed a first world country. smiley
Liar! Liar! bug on the wall!If someone died in 2000 and was resurrected this year, that person will'd prefered getting resurrected in Ghana and woulda regretted ever getting resurrected in Nigeria. Things have worsened. Third fastest growing economy my foot. Who you be sef to try to take us for fools in this forum? Oh, yeah I get it, you've been possessed by GEJ's lying spirit.

PeterKbaba: God bless you... when obj was there, it was mostly yorubas that were always insulting him and also protesting... An igbo man would rather die in silence because the man come from their tribe, knowing well the man and his cronies are eating all their resources bad
Actually I think the Yorubas are most times objective in their criticisms. They don't care if you're from their tribe or not, if you fumble and perform below expectation, they simply treat your Bleep up and deal decisively with you. Ask OBJ, Bode George, Fayose, Segun Oni Reuben Abati et al. Heck, they're even ready to deliver their sons up for justice if the latter breaks the laws. They're usually particular about this "good family name and honour" thingy akin to the chinese's beliefs. Need I say more?

Abagworo: I and one other person opened a thread about this in the past. The moderators need to act on it. The President is the face of our Nation and an insult on his person is an insult on Nigeria.
My friend, will you wake up and stop saying that.
PoliticsRe: Why Do Most Nigerians Like Insulting GEJ by ceaser: 5:01pm On May 24, 2012
glowithdan: It is gradually becoming a way of life here in Nigeria with the way we insult our president.

Not taking away the freedom of expression, I personally think it's high time we stopped this disrespectful act, and rather seek everything little ways we can, in contributing to the growth of our nation!!

My candid opinion.
If
a president, disregarding his exalted office, makes a
habit of lying, it
is our duty as citizens to point out that
he is a liar--and
that he has betrayed the high
expectations of his office. Rather than importune citizens to
"respect the office" that
the occupant/incumbent has
disrespected by lying, you
ought to harangue holders of high
office not to devalue their positions by acting abominably or
deplorably. I
abhor the self-debasing self-censorship
that invites us to
speak untruth in the alleged name of
exhibiting respect for an office that has been thoroughly
devalued by an
incumbent, whether he/she be a
president, governor,
minister, commissioner, local
government chairman, chairperson of a board. Strictures like
yours, @porter glowithdan
, have the effect of
encouraging corruption
and bad leadership. You'd not insist,
say, that a president/ governor/minister ought not to steal
public resources.
Instead, you'd rebuke those who--
faced with
incontrovertible proof--make the
correct, truthful judgment by calling a thieving
president/governor/
minister by the proper name: THIEF!". @ Poster, glowitdan, you're simply a
Stockholm Syndromed (look up "stockholm syndrome" in your medical dictionary)
Nigerian citizen who worries more
about respecting
office holders and not calling them by
their real names - thieves - to the hearing of the outside
world than he
worries about what the thieves are
doing to Nigeria.
Everyday brings me to the realization
that our struggle for Nigeria is not just against the
corrupt gluttons in office
but to repair the psychological damage
they have done to
the fragment of our citizenry who
defend them).
And I second.
Let the thieves know that they are
thieves; they don't
deserve your respect. They don't know
the meaning of
respect, yet they want to be respected. Nigerians please
let us support people who genuinely
care for the masses,
let us stop protecting and hero
worshiping the thieves
who are destroying lives. They are ruthless, greedy and
they are BARAWO, THIEVES. That is their
name, nothing
more, nothing else. STAND UP FOR YOUR RIGHT, YOUR TIME
IS NOW, SAY NO TO
CORRUPTION.

Siena: Okay bro, have it your own way. The fact you evade questions about this car speaks volumes.

Looking at the engine in the picture would suggest it's a 2,8 V6 30V. Which is great - on the surface. Then looking at the MAF on the left hand side, suggests it's been "altered". The MAF should be much closer to the airbox, yet yours is right next to the throttle body. Something's gone wrong somewhere, which brings me to...

...The trunk. It is clearly badged 2,7T Quattro, though the "T" has been removed, leaving a clear outline. The 2,7T is a 2,7 V6 30V Biturbo engine. So, what's happened to it? Why is there now a 2,8 V6 30V non-turbo under the bonnet? The 2,7T ECU is different to the 2,8, and has extra inputs - MAP sensor, 2 x EGT sensors, 2 x N75 valves that regulate boost from the twin turbos, and the ignition and fuel maps will be different. So, running the 2,8 with these sensors missing will cause the ECU to register error codes, and the check engine light will be illuminated (unless it's removed).

The 2,8 will never run right with the 2,7T ECU and wiring harness. The MAF location in the picture clearly shows how the wiring has been botched. The airbox of 2,7T and 2,8 are different too, so not sure what happened there. In a nutshell, this engine will be running in limp mode, will be down on power and of course will be incredibly heavy on fuel consumption.

Why wasn't this downgrade "conversion" disclosed?
Hmmm. On sight diagnosis. The guru. Àwon tó mo oyún ìgbín nínú ìkarahun.
