Christianity EtcRe: Nigerian Pastors Really Need Bodyguards by ceaz4r(m): 12:50pm On Jul 27, 2014
martyns303: Jesus Christ was sort after many times to be killed prior to him finally being arrested. At the point of him being arrested, one of his apostle took out a knife and cut off the ear of one of the arresting soldiers in an attempt to defend Jesus, but Jesus rebuked him, and even went ahead to heal the ear of the soldier. Am sure this is a demostration that there wasn't need for a defender (bodyguard). And if prosecutors should come, then one should face it, even with his life. A tough decision I know, but if u are not prepared for such sacrifice then u shouldn't take up a calling, u can't be enjoying the privilege and not make the sacrifice.

RomanceRe: After 3 Abortions, He Will Marry Another Lady This Month by ceaz4r(m): 12:34pm On Dec 27, 2013
The good guys are never good enough for you ladies. You always prefer those who treat you like poo.

What kind of love will make you blind to the obvious? & in all your exposure in life, you never heard of Condoms? Next time, cut your womb out to prove love (or stupidity).

Let me correct an impression. Not all men are bad or wicked as you put it. Some men turned 'bad' cos of the experience they got from women they tried to show care & love.

demelza: Why would you ask her for the meeting place in the first place? You obviously asked her out, so why not use your initiative to source for venues.
You cant blame the girl for bailing you out by suggesting a place since you are being chicken.

When adults make such remarks as yours here, I just wonder if is a case of half developed brain. Did you see it was said in the short write up there, that it is a prototype? Do you have idea how many billions of Naira will be required to research & improve on that to make it fly? Little wonder this nation is so growth retarded cos is run by the likes of you with diminished reasoning & zero vision!

PoliticsRe: Deportation Of Igbos From Lagos: Senator Ngige Speaks by ceaz4r(m): 1:07pm On Aug 02, 2013
1oracle: \
The real enemies of the Igbos is the Igbos and not other tribes, If Ngige should endorse this discrimination and inhumane treatment on fellow human beings irrespective of tribe and ethnicity. So Lagos state government offices open by 4am under eko bridge? So Lagos state government doesn't know state house in awka again? Ngige have shown the same behavior the so called useless group called OHANEZE displayed by going to kano to show support for amnesty for murderers(boko haram) after they bombed bus terminals owned by Igbos in kano. OHANEZE didn't visit peaceful MASSOB members languishing in prisons and police cells in Igbo land for peaceful association as their offense. OHANEZE was no where to be found when Massob members was killed and dumped in esu river there in Igbo land.
So sorry for the Igbos under their so called useless IGBO leaders. Ojukwu is the only leader Igbos have even at death.
GOD Bless you!!! You will live long. May you live longer!!!

This "I-must-comment syndrome" is really exposing a lot of ignorance. My dear, from ur response you know next to nothing about the Catholic Church. So just zip it. Go find out what the Catholic Church is using their money for. Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is one example among many. Google is your friend.

PoliticsRe: How Can Anambra Leverage This ''Sea-side'' Spectacle For Economic Development? by ceaz4r(m): 1:51pm On Jul 05, 2013
Dudu_Negro: Any waterfront is a prime land for development. Humankind has always been drawn to the beauty and resource in water.

Onitsha is not on the sea but it is on river and this body of water is River Niger; you want to promote it as a "river front", and not anything else.

Some opportunities

First and foremost, the city must issue a land zoning ordinance to create a public all-access water/land use space.

Second, they should map out a 5mile stretch of the river front for zoned development.

1. Fortify the entire city shoreline with a concrete embankment that stands no more than 6feet above the tidal level.

2. Erect piers and ramps at intervals along the reinforced shoreline.

3. Build a right of way boulevard that runs no more than 4miles the length of the riverfront, with a half mile buffer on the North and South end of it.

4. The boulevard should have sitting benches innermost to the river, then walkway, followed by bike paths, next is time-metered parking (allowing for no longer than 30mins parking), then last layer on the boulevard is a roadway (a one lane, one way access).

5. Beyond the boulevard should be building structures and retail space, so that what separates the structures from the river is the multi-purpose boulevard.

6. The City must erect a non-age restrictive Arcade with multi purpose catering and entertainment and plazas ( eateries, fashion, grooming, cinemas, telecomm, etc...)

7. The zoned land should be heavily taxed and offered in open bid for private investors.

8. The zone must have a catchy name like "Niger RiverFront Business District" or something similar. Please, do not use Biafra!

9. Organize weekly events with private sponsorships, make it family friendly. Example: a karaoke sing along to local music; a cooking competition to see who is best in local cuisine.
Shut the roadway on weekends that the events will hold so the events are actually staged on the road surface.

10. Hire me as consultant. grin
Dude, you are good!!

CultureRe: How Are You - Is It A Rude Form Of Greeting? by ceaz4r(m): 8:59pm On May 14, 2013
kokoye: I noticed our people dont take the greeting "how are you" very nicely. When you greet them and say "how are you", most would feel you are being disrespectful. I have experienced this several times - someone actually told me he wasnt a kid when I greeted him that way...and a few did not even respond.

When I say 'how are you' to someone, I'm just checking on them..and I expect the same kind of greeting in return.

Am I alone in this ...and why do you think 'our' people feel disrespected with such a greeting?
I think the subject of concern here is in the way it was said, not in the gesture. The gesture is a very welcome one, but some ppl like to sound superior saying it.

That's the worst case of ignorance. It is only a tree that is f00lish enough not to move even with the chainsaw barking at its base.
FamilyRe: Blue-Collar Workers Want Their Children To Go to College: Why? by ceaz4r(m): 11:49pm On May 08, 2013
AjanleKoko: Hmm.
What's wrong with a child of a blue-collar worker learning a trade, and earning money from an early age?
Or, in the converse, what is right about a blue-collar worker begging, borrowing, and stealing, to ensure their four or five children all attend one higher institution or the other?

Are they playing a lottery with the children? The irony is that, a lot of these children also have to bribe or cheat their way to those higher institutions like a lot of other children. And most of them will probably either not do particularly well at school, and may end up sitting at home unemployed. What happens then?

We should move from the 'you never know' mindset, and try to be a bit more pragmatic in the way we live life in Nigeria, IMO.
Very low-thinking.
Car TalkRe: Why Is INTERNATIONAL DRIVING PERMIT Not Allowed In Nigeria. by ceaz4r(m): 11:08pm On May 07, 2013

Same in everything as a result of gross moral decadence.

coogar: this is very harsh!
how can you speak ill of the country that birthed you in such a crude manner. what had gross moral decadence gotta do with?

So if ur boyfriend bought you a pant & bra & say 'baby, I like you to wear these around to show the world how sexy you are, don't wear anything on top, just the pant & bra', you want to tell me you will wear those, dressed like that & walk the street just because ur boyfriend bought them for you? You surprise me with your answer.
PoliticsRe: Foreign Reserves Hit Record High At $50bn - Iweala by ceaz4r(m): 1:07pm On May 05, 2013
juman: The federal government in general is liar.

What is the essence of fat foreign reserves while we lack ALL basic infrastructures.

The government should spend some of the money to build our badly needed infrastructures.
Tell ur self the truth; is it that the monies are not budgeted for & thus disbursed or that some criminals are diverting these monies to private/personal accts/funds. People like you scream blue murder at the mind blowing volume of the national budget yet on a different platform you say again money is not brought out to tackle the poor state of infrastructures in the country. Seriously some people just sit & type away meaninglessly on their computers!
SportsRe: Martial Arts by ceaz4r(m): 6:28pm On May 04, 2013
Kratos007: trust me, though kicks are more powerful than punches as a rule, you have far more versatility with your hands, added to the fact that your hands are faster. there are literally hundreds of different hand striking combinations that can be used to a lethal effect. i only studied taekwondo because karate was'nt allowed in nuga games. besides, if you have the misfortune of fighting with 3 or 4 guys, would you rather kick than punch your way out of it? i and almost every other martial artist would prefer their feet firmly on the ground while dishing out holy hell with clenched fists grin grin grin
I guess you are being mistaken by the sports version of TaeKwonDo you see on NUGA games & so on. Take a trip to clubs where they train Full Contact Self-Defence TKD, trust me you will confess differently. If you think TKD has no deadly close-in punches, you might be signing a death warrant. A word of advice.

I get the fact that he's president and therefore making it difficult to turn him down, but she shold have snobbed, better yet she shouldn't be there. The aim is defeted..
It takes two to tango, my dear. U feel u're so knowledgeable. Why did she accept the handshake if she(they) were so religious?! Will she be ordered out of that place, or her job terminated, or possibly shot dead if she RESPECTFULLY declined? What are you ppl trying to tell us?
