Jonathan found himself as the proverbial meat in the sandwich. By some twist of fate, I am inclined to agree with OBJ that Jonathan was too small for the presidency. As I said somewhere, his background and experience did not prepare him for the high wired jungle that is Nigerian politics. He was just a pawn on the chess board. He was overwhelmed by the trend of events around him. In the process, he continued to wobble and fumble. In his sober moments, he WL be wondering what hit him.

However,I pity my fellow citizens. The level of elite and adult delinquency displayed by the various actors is the cause of where we are today. A squandering of time.resources and opportunity by our leaders. Our politicians are only after their own. An interplay of biigotry, nepotism , greed and mischief by political actors, crisscrossing the political spectrum chasing filthy lucre while the masses line up to cast votes and support opponents who are actually united in the mad rush for our common patrimony.

The closing chapter portrays Jonathan as a wailer. Somebody should tell.him that this is politics. He came, he saw and should take his medicine.No complains. He certainly did not conquer, let nobody deceive him.He should have remained in Bayelsa. But God works in mysterious ways.

The question is whether we have learnt any lessons? Is this what Buhari is going through?


The answer , they say, is blowing in the winds.

24 billion will buy 4000 Tractors for Nigerian farmers with combined capacity to till 20,000 hectares of land daily or 3 million hectares yearly.

Each hectare producing food products of about 500,000 Naira average per planting season or 1 million Naira per year.


3 million hectares at 1 million Naira yearly equals 3 Trillion Naira worth of food products produced if common sense existed amongst those boneheads in government. No they rather spend the money on a building for that would house barely 500 workers for an agency that already operates in an existing headquarters. It's a pity.

I did the Structural Design and Site Supervision of this Building then I was working with a Company in Onikan prior to starting Daystar Shelter Ltd.
The Architectural design of this building done by an Isreali firm. The Owner saw this exact building at Isreal and bought the Plans.
Each apartment has Wet Kitchen and Dry Kitchen. Wet kitchen for foods like poundo yam, fufu etc. The dry kitchen for Spaghetti etc.
If you have an apartment for instance, you own like 3rd floor and 4th floor. A type of 1 Storey building inside a multi storey. So your apartment won't be on a single floor as is obtainable in other projects.

The Bottom line is this, the problem is not how magnificent this project is nor who owns what Apartment. The problem is only with whoever looted Nigeria's money and hid it there.
Nigeria needs 1000 of this calibre of Structure in order to be like Dubai that we so cherish.

IKOYI $43 MILLION: RIVERS STATE GOVERNMENT CLAIMS OWNERSHIP

▪Gives FG seven days ultimatum to return the funds diverted by the immediate past Governor

Rivers State Governor has given the Federal Government an ultimatum of 7 days to return the $43million dollars found in a luxury apartment in Ikoyi to the Rivers State Government , failure which the State Government will take legal measures to ensure that it gets back her stolen resources

Governor Wike also declared that the $43million dollars found in the luxury apartment in Ikoyi belongs to the Rivers State Government.

Governor Wike said that investigations by the Rivers State Government revealed that the money was proceed from the sale of gas turbines by the immediate past Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi.

Addressing journalists at the Government House, Port Harcourt on Friday night, Governor Wike said: "The money in question belongs to the former Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi. We want to confirm that the houses in Ikoyi also belong to Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.

"If you recollect in 2015, we said that gas turbines built by Former Governor Peter Odili were sold to Sahara Energy, business partners of Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi at $319million.

"That money was used to sponsor the All Progressives Congress for the 2015 general elections. From the date of sale of the gas turbines to May 29, 2015, the money depleted from $319million to $204,000 . What was stashed at the Ikoyi residence was part of that fund".

He said : "We have facts to prove that the said money belongs to the Rivers State Government. The Federal Government must return our money".

Governor Wike said all the stories being peddled about the money belonging to the National Intelligence Agency are false and mere face saving measures by the embattled APC Federal Government.

He said: "As I speak to you, the Federal Government is so embarrassed that this has happened. All the stories that the money belongs to the NIA are fake".

Governor Wike challenged the Federal Government to set up a panel of Inquiry , which will sit publicly to investigate the money, if it doubted the claim of the Rivers State Government.

He stated that the Rivers State Government needs the money to complete an array of projects, insisting that on no account would this criminal activity be swept under the carpet.

The governor said as long as the Federal Government continues to disturb the progress of Rivers State, so long will God throw the Federal Government into confusion.

"We are giving them seven days to return our money. Otherwise, we would take legal action to recover our money. $43million will help us complete several projects. We need that money for projects", he said.

There is not one single historical artifact as significant as this in the whole of the South East and I guess that's why the Igbos are constantly jealous of Yorubas....

....heck, they are not even sure whether they're Africans or Isrealites. Shame and inferiority complex has made them to trade their historical culture for a foreign one...

The irony of it all is that the Jews are unrepentant racists that would mostly avoid any genealogical links with black Africans if possible.
