bakynes: To me you and your likes are just stating paper achievements. To the question is this enough achievement in 6 yrs? You wrote "feel free to add more" and I did. . It's clear that you'll never be satisfied even if I write all that's in my mind... You can vote your "MESSIAH" with the hope of getting one of those phantom 22000 jobs in your state.... I choose to face the reality and challenges of leadership in our society. I choose not to go back to our collective vomit repackaged as a meal in the name of utopian assurance..... I choose GEJ till 2019. |

bakynes: I want to challenged all the Jonathanians on NL to this questions. The Old locomotive trains back on track, a few train coaches in some states, improved power supply in few parts of the country, constructing some new Federal roads and abandoning most Federal roads, approving 12 New Federal Universities that has not even started operations, building Almajiri schools in the North, what else please feel free to add more. My question is, is this an achievement for 6 years in power with high oil price. Talking of "locomotives"-, Don't forget that GMB annihilated the Lagos Metro line project for reasons best comprehensible by an almajiri brain.... The trains commissioned and being used now may not be contemporary (i.e electric maglev, bullet "shinkansen" trains) but they are Diesel powered and by all means MODERN! |

My question is, is this an achievement for 6 years in power with high oil price. Of course he ONLY supported local auto manufacturing that has given Nigerians a sense of belonging in the auto assembly realm.. He ONLY gave Nigerians the opportunity to take decent and cheap train rides for the first time in their lives with a progressive rail expansion plan acknowledged by KPMG and co... He ONLY endured the smooth privatisation of the power sector which has seen the most massive recruitment in history (Transmission company of Nigeria recruited over 500 in the first batch, Sahara group - over 100, ibedc , Bedc, eedc have collectively taken over five hundred graduates out of the labour market over 6,000 are to be trained and employed by 2018 if the plan is followed) . And all these with just 4000mw of power. Lemme add.that for over 17 years, recruitment into nepa was frozen which led to the promotion of charlatans in handling the power assets. He ONLY made a significant impact in the agric sector that has led to improved yield and local production and export- this point is so starkly obvious, I don't even need to mention it.. He has ONLY done this and a "few" others I don't have time to mention here..... |

PenSniper: What official statement ? Where in the world are original certificates are held by agencies rather than the owner ? Buhari told a lie, period. Of course, GMB lied... I couldn't even stop laughing last night knowing how nairaland would dissect this latest development. But the use of "military source" in the writeup smacks of propaganda. |

Not all this our source, our this. Buhari is just giving his opponent assignment and things to worry about and they are carrying it out I have to admit you're right though. Let's get an official statement on the matter. |

MilitaryMinded: I took a train ride from KD to Ibadan.......it was a good experience...beautiful train, excellent service, cheap and affordable as well......................that said, Resurrecting railway transport is not enough for get my vote. Do something about security, electricity, employment, corruption ( abi na stealing ), the economy 1st. This is about the 4th or so thread am seeing abt these trains. Is that all he can do? Jonathanians have been shouting about this train as if it is one new technological wonder. Can you take the train to your village? You still have to negotiate those death traps called roads. Oliver twist... Over thirty years of rot should be revamped in a few years? Rail projects are heavily capital intensive. Power sector has been privatised.. It's left for the private firms to invest billions of dollars (cost of large scale generation installation averages about 1 - 2 million dollars per megawatt. And we need 50,000 megawatts to even scratch the surface)... Those village roads you're talking of aren't federal roads, divert the criticism to your LG and state govt. |

edisoncash: 17. Amongst other achievements, we have rehabilitated and expanded our rail transportation network, successfully privatized power generation and distribution, significantly reformed and increased local participation in our oil and gas industry, and improved nationwide access to potable water from 57% in 2010, to 70% at present.

Demdem: Wike's lie doesn't move me a bit but a salient point I will like to highlight. Wike said........
Wike promised the people that, if voted as governor in 2015, he would review the economic value of their lands acquired by the state government for the Greater Port Harcourt City (GPH) project.
Before now, i have been stating that the core reason why so many Amaechi ikwerre folks don't like him till date was because he stopped their main source of livelihood which basically is inhuman. Ikwerres and land are inseparable. Even after purchase from them, they continue to exhort u, milk u and threaten u if u don't comply. Amaechi came in, criminalise these acts and for this, these jobless fools wants his head. Voting for wike is like going back to Egypt. I see the thugs coming back to the streets of Port harcourt if he becomes governor. I see developers being harassed and exhorted by these fools as experienced before amaechi came in. His statement about what he intend doing with land already acquired by the state govt gives credence to the fact that this fool surely has a pact with these fools. He won't succeed. Seriously, dude... My eyes opened widely as I read that part. That guy is a typical ikwerre land-hounding ninja... #noOffense |
