I am based in abuja, so i submitted in the VFS abuja office at silverbird.
1) The payment for the COPR was N17,990 or so, and N500 for SMS, so total i paid was N18,340.
2) My PPR mail didnt state any location too. i wasnt kuku bothered, i just printed the mail and gave them like that. I'm assuming all intl passports are shipped to Accra Office.
3) I didnt pay any transmission fees to lagos VFS.(maybe they internally transfer it to lagos on its way to accra included in the above cost).But there was nothing like transmission mentioned sef yday. They didnt even ask anything relating to acrra.
As soon as i left, i got 2 mails about my tracking number and a text msg.

Dont panic,It seems all those who got PPR on the 18th of dec , were from OttawaVO and they didnt put location as per Accra. Las las just go to lagos VFS (if in lagos) and pay your N18,340 (PS: ensure you have change, cos i heard they never have change to give you).

I received Ready for Visa mail on 18th Dec as well, in my email no location was mentioned other than to submit documents at VFS . What is to be submitted is just the printed email, 2 passport photo and Int passport? and the fee. Can someone who submitted recently confirm this? Thank you.

My AOR was in July, meds passed in July as well. I'm a single applicant with moderate travel history

I'm still waiting for the golden mail of PPR, didn't expect it to take this long. Sigh

Although, i check my application from time to time, I don't think any changes has been made since my Meds passed update in July.

What do I do about my application? Who is this Ralph person I see on these threads to help check what's really going on.

Patience is key....PPR issuance has been on standstill for like 2 weeks now aside a few here and there.Meanwhile IP2 to PPR in few days also isn't consistent for the past 2 weeks.Seems alot of files were moved to other VOs from the fast Ottawa.Patience is key

That is a big lie. Hayat Kimya, the company that produces Molfix manufactures its diapers right in Agbara. They commissioned a multi-million naira plant last year. P&G's downfall is due to cost saving initiatives, poor management, fraud and stiff competition from Molfix. Their market share was overtaken within a couple of years of Molfix arrival in the market. And yes, I am an insider.

That other diaper Molfix killed their pampers business.

I'm so excited!!. First time writing IELTS, got my perfect scores with CRS 475.

Result: LRWS=8,9,7,8.

Even with the little drama regarding my speaking test rescheduling. Thanks to the guys that suggested and emailed me contacts to get my speaking test rescheduled, I was contacted by the BC examiner for my test centre @sorefunmi @happytbaby.

Could've gotten a 9 in Listening but I got bored and my mind started to wander towards the end so I missed a few answers.
Speaking result was unexpected as the lady examiner was smiling at me and everything I said a little too much and might've distracted me a little...lol
For writing in my opinion, the time given was too short or it just went by fast to get all my points down.

Nairaland is such a wonderful place with amazing people willing to help all the time. Off I go to create my EE profile.

I have to write Ielts for 21st April and i was assigned the speaking test date Monday 16th by BC. Problem is I am unavailable that day as I am out of the country to be back in Lagos, Nigeria on Weds 18th. I thought the tests is taken on the same day

What should I do? Would I go ahead to write the LRW on 21st?

Or just forfeit the test all together. MOD IDP has a test date for 12th May.

I've been to Istanbul twice with an e-visa before, although, I used Turkish airline.

Retrospecting on both trips, there was no scenario indicating that the carrier was of any relevance in determining my admission to the country. The admitting office only requested for my EU residence permit, my passport and the visa printout which was sent to my email. I am strongly convinced it will be the same for you.

And if your flight from the US back to Istanbul will be booked on Turkish airline website, then the carrier doesn't matter. It is typical for airlines to contract service of each other. Besides, Turkish airline flies directly from JFK to Istanbul, so?

Problem is the direct flight from JFK is expensive compared to the connecting flights available with stopovers to change airplanes. I guess as long as it Turkish airline that is transporting me into Turkey I should have not problems I hope ��

I have a valid US visa, found out I can obtain a Turkish e-visa as a supporting document. Because this a work trip (Lagos-Istanbul) which is paid for, I want to use the opportunity to take a trip to New York (cheaper fares) from Istanbul. Then reenter Istanbul and fly back to Lagos.

As a requirement of my e-visa, I have to fly using either one of this flights (Turkish, Atlasglobal, Pegasus).
I can’t find cheaper direct flight R/T on any of this above airlines but airlines like United, KLM are operating together with Turkish airline

For example found a cheap flight with United (JFK-Frankfurt) then change airline to Turkish airline (Frankfurt-Istanbul)
I don’t want any problems with their border

Me: Morrocco, Turkey and Msc in USA
Vo: USA or Uk? *chuckles* as he was checking my old passports for the above country visas

The whole thing took about 5 mins, He didn’t ask me for any documents and I didn’t bring any along with me.
