My understanding is very intact, and the Moses' sister you were trying to remember was Miriam. But if he did not I think he should come out and say so. He has a PRO, let him do so. When rumors like this keep spreading, he should speak against it. That u left the church is not new to this world, any others have left other folds for this church. That doesnt mean jack. That u didnt regret it is no big deal. Many others who remained in the church including those who left other folds for this church have no regret. I didnt pay a dime for the programme but i chose not to, As i walked into the venue, i was in the mist of a huge crowd n didnt see any tickets. The only difficulty we experienced getting in was the crowd. I saw alot of ppl who looked like mechanics and pepper sellers in the venue, theres no way those would have parted with money to get in. Firstly, there is a way things ought to be done. As pastors and leaders, i believe that the pastors ought to have addressed the issue properly. If at all Pastor Chris needed to be corrected, they should have written him or called a leaders meeting whether physical or remote conference or something. Not by attempting to run him down via the public media. It shows an annoying spirit of competitiveness in Gods House.

Everything christian should be done in love. U cant say u want to correct someone by trying to destroy his reputation. N1,000 is way too much for any church to put as ticket charge so it should inspire some wonder. I still see it as a move to control the crowd at the epicenter; because there were several other centres provided for ppl to participate without tickets. over 20 infact.

Another thing is, the ticket thing was anounced weeks before the event. I got wind of it then too and apparently, most of the prominent who r criticizing here did. So how come they did not kick against it them? They simple allowed it to happen and swung in with it as a weapon. Abeg make we hear word. The ppl who paid the fees did not complain to u ppl. I attended the event at the epicenter and didnt use any ticket. Pls cut him some slack.

My attention was first drawn to the fact that his picture or that of his wife appeared on EVERY single page of their Rhapsody of Realities daily devotional. EVERY SINGLE PAGE, cover to cover. His picture is on everything that has to do with the church from handbills to books to sign boards etc. I attended a wedding at the Christ Embassy place in Ikeja about 3 years ago, I am not quite sure now but I think it was their Church headquarters. Reading through this thread, wherever his members talk about him you could replace his name with "God" and the sentence would be in order. So total is the brainwashing. Anybody with half a brain can think of alternatives like early raffle draws where people win tickets or wristbands that would give them entry to the place on the D-day. Alternatively, he could have held the session alone in his office and broadcast it worldwide. Yet, his members BLINDLY and annoyingly rush to his defence. Exactly how shallow are these people?
