Being in the anywhere in the world is no problem as long as you remember your origin and respect it. That is why the Asians are developing faster than all African countries, because they remember their home and return to make their own contributions without making excuses. Most Africans are cowards running from their own shadows, they will continue to blame those at home for their country's woes while they continue to run. Africans will continue to be slaves serving the rest of the world until we rise up to our own challenges and stop making excuses for running away.

In my view, I will say they escape by the skin of their teeth. Niger nearly became Uganda II. They equalised and if luck had not been at the eagle's side, I can guarantee it would have been a draw.

They are now saying Yar'Adua ordered Ribadu not to arrest them. I guess I understand his concern, he did not want another political problem. Atiku is already playing the fraudulent election card to prevent his own prosecution. But I still expect some arrests to serve as scapegoats, if not it implies that Yar'Adua himself (if he was not elected the president) would have left an empty treasury for his successor and who knows maybe he did.

It is part of criminal investigations that the accused may negotiate so that they may avoid heavy punishment. So those guys may be negotiating their way out of prison by returning the illegal money that can be traced directly to them. That will reduce their punishment.

I'm just happy they are being forced to return the stolen monies, they will serve as example for the future.
