Flogging a dead horse = #fail #change #GMB #APC |
People don't seem to understand that Jonathan is not the poster child for any level of education. I watch him speak and I cringe with embarrassment and the fear that he will drop another clanger. His leadership has been woefully bereft of ideas or philosophy. And the fact that he left his wife, in her obvious condition certainly does not recommend him. Perhaps it shows the level of discourse he is comfortable with? In public office since 1999 and yet he now has little to tell us about his achievements! #change #GMB #APC |
Zellie:Yes. |
Buhari does not like eba. #change |
I pity them. Instead of discussing issues that can improve the country, the pdp can only make Buhari the daily headline thus improving his visibility and popularity. Can we discuss corruption, unemployment and the insurgency now? And oil theft? And the immigration stadium deaths? And the shooting of APC supporters in Rivers State? #change #GMB #APC |
#ignoranceondisplay We need #change |
Which explains why Premium Times also obtained a printout of Buhari’s results from Cambridge uni! #change #GMB #APC #oneNigeria |
For the olodos here this is history of WAEC http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_African_Examinations_Council History The University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate, University of London School Examinations Matriculation Council and West African Departments of Education met in 1948, concerning education in West Africa.[3] The meeting was called to discuss the future policy of education in West Africa. At the meeting, they appointed Dr. George Barker Jeffery (Director of the University Of London Institute Of Education) to visit some West African countries, so as to see the general education level and requirements in West Africa. At the end of Jeffery's three month visit (December 1949- March 1950) to Ghana, the Gambia, Sierra Leone, and Nigeria, he tendered a report (since known as Jeffery report) strongly supporting the need for a West African Examination Council, and making detailed recommendations on the composition and duties of the Council.[3] Following this report, the groups met with the governments of these countries, and they agreed on establishing a West African Examination council, fully adopting Jeffery's recommendations. The Establishment of the Council The legislative assemblies of Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, and the Gambia passed an ordinance (West African Examinations Council Ordinance NO. 40) approving the West African Examination Council in Dec 1951.[4] The Ordinance agreed to the coordination of exams, and issuing of certificates to students in individual countries by the West African Examination Council. Liberia later issued their ordinance in 1974, at the annual meeting held in Lagos, Nigeria.[4] After the success of forming an examination council, the council called a first meeting in Accra, Ghana on March 1953. In the meeting, the registrar briefed everybody about the progress of the council. In that same meeting, five committees were formed to assist the council. These committees are: Administrative and Finance Committee, School Examinations Committee, Public Service Examinations Committee, The Professional, Technical and Commercial Examinations Committee, and the Local Committee.[3] The total number of people present for this meeting was 26.[3] |
Now they illustrate the same low thinking skills as their master. The examination body has had a series of name changes over the decades and once the main exam was the Cambridge exam. TANistas pls try thinking a little... #change |
LOLZ@PEGURY Perjury #change |
Don't mind them. They are struggling to explain why we should vote for someone with a visible record of failure, both as president and as leader of the pdp. Jonathan is trying, yes indeed he is trying the patience of the country. Enough. #change #GMB #APC #oneNigeria |
Now pdp, can we talk about corruption, unemployment, boko haram? Real issues, real debate? Mtcheeeeeew #change #GMB #APC |
jmaine:Read and comprehend PREMIUM TIMES obtained the computer printout from Cambridge University as well as a statement of result, signed by the current principal of Katsina College, dated January 21, 2015. |
Jennynkk:I'm sure Amaechi paid N19bn for this paper, abi? #thickasabrick #change #GMB #APC |
DeCritique:Note they say they got verification from Cambridge uni. I guess the other papers did not pay the fee that comes with asking for old records? Doubt all you want but we have seen enough of the ignorant PhD holder and his missus! #change #GMB #APC |
candy:The pdp lies religiously! #change #GMB #APC |
Barca I believe the APC has handled this just right. The time to campaign is short, and the many issues we have raised regarding Nigeria have not been of interest to the pdp. We have run on issues and this certificate distraction does nothing to shield the fact that Jonathan for all his PhD has woefully failed to discharge his responsibilities as president. Jonathan unfortunately is like many of our graduates, holding a piece of paper but demonstrating little sill or interest in his job. In the wake of Fayoses advert, Nigerians can see the panic and desperation in the pdp, and their utter lack of civility. The pdp has received legal advice that a challenge concerning Buhari’s certificate would fail, but their agenda is still to paint northerners as backward, unscheduled, illiterate... And still they need votes from the region? It is good for Nigerians to see presidential hypocrisy, tribal and religious divisiveness coming out of the pdp presidency. Truly there are many who bitterly regret voting for Jonathan at the last election. The pdp is not to set the agenda for the APC. They have already used spies, the DSS, and every arm of government possible to try to frustrate the APC, and this is being quietly but firmly handled. It is the APC setting the discussion agenda for this election and we must continue to do so, without distraction. INEC has refused to be used by the PDP to disqualify Buhari because, they have found him qualified to run in the last three elections, and a reversal at this point would be beyond controversial. Is the pdp alleging that INEC has failed to verify candidates qualifications over the last three elections? Anyways, enough of that, we move on undeterred and even heartened. The opposing camp is in disarray and we must press our advantage. Buhari is a man who wants to serve his nation, unlike our opponent who simply wants to occupy the office. The change is coming and we must not get entangled in distractions manufactured by the PDP. You are very much part of a great happening. Kudos. #change #GMB #APC |
hipinnacle:Don't blame the media, they can only report what happens or what they are told. I'm still waiting to hear pdp proposals to tackle corruption, unemployment, boko haram as my top three priorities. I know what Buhari has said on these issues from the media. The pdp has 21bn to spend on its campaign, and you see the hot water fayose poured on them with his useless advert, and all these pretty issues about phone number and operating computer. It has been a disgraceful campaign from the pdp and they will pay dearly for it. #change #GMB #APC |
Vicotex:Your mother raised you well, even in that brothel. |
This is Nigeria, even your 2.1 is suspect. We all know how people get through university, so please don't give a story of angels and devil's. To become president one has to have a large network of allies across tribal lines and regions (something many igbos on nairaland do not seem to understand) and have a certain doggedness and perseverance while maintaining an appropriate public profile. You think the voter waiting for a bus at oshodi cares whether you got a 2.1 or first class? Right now we have a PhD president and the consensus is that we are sick and tired of him. #change #GMB #APC |
Nigeria suffers too much from the incompetence of public officials. I pray the Buhari revolution will not spare people who are paid by the public but act in a partisan or unprofessional manner. Enough is enough! #change #GMB #APC |
Your president will not explain anything. His style is to beg for time, which he has run out of. Even TANistas keep saying let him complete... Whatever. Nigerians have run out of patience because nobody believes thing will improve with Jonathan as president. This kind of discussion is too complex for him. #change #GMB #APC |
Such a useless statement that carefully avoids taking responsibility for anything. Waffling just like their master. #fail #change #GMB #APC |
Rejected at every turn, how is Jonathan spending his 21bn campaign fund? We are yet to see or feel the impact. #change #GMB #APC |
NnamdiN:You have a way of avoiding the question. Has the pdp condemned the violence against APC members nationwide or in Rivers State? P/S the links are from the last and the current election #change #GMB #APC |
Buhari has just dissed Jonathan big time. Ouch. Why can't Jonathan run on his record of achievement... #change #GMB #APC #oneNigeria |
GMB is on the right track. The ramifications are huge. Even your secretary or business centre typist can pass on information they come across, and in the USA, they are entitled to a percentage as incentive. Civil Servants will now demand ministers issue written instructions to protect themselves from liability. Even private business will need to be very careful because a stranger may be able to profit by reporting your corrupt practices. I am really encouraged. A sane government is coming... #change #GMB #APC |
NnamdiN:Buhari issued a statement condemning the violence which was actually pdp factions fighting. Now how many of you have condemned the violence in Rivers State, the shooting of APC supporters, the bombing of an office, and the murder of one official? Has the president issued any similar statement? http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/sunday/index.php/top-stories/19317-buhari-condemns-jos-election-violence http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-13126839 #change #GMB #APC |
Jennynkk:Each of his speech...! Ok, carry on. It is clear you really are an attention seeking dilettante who has little interest in politics. For anyone to think the the pdp as a party compares to the apc is weird. Fashola, fayemi and Co will be in the Buhari government based on their performance as governors. Do you have any idea of the pdp policy proposals? Have they been selling any idea of a better nation, or indulging in scurrilous attacks? Buhari has been outlining his ideas for weeks, and I am more than satisfied that he stands head and shoulders above the incumbent, in every mental and physical sphere. #change #GMB #APC |
Fayose and Co, know the president has tried to use religion and tribe to divide Nigerians. He forgot that another election would come eventually and he would have to go begging for votes in every corner of the federation. He has not once, expressed displeasure or disapproval of the many incendiary comments his Ijaw folk have been making, and surely will remain silent on the fayose advert that has surely cost him hundreds of thousands of votes. This is because he is a weak man, bereft of any philosophy, lacking in leadership, and definitely, slow of mind. Even from afar, Nigerians can feel his detachment. In this campaign, he is struggling to explain why he wants to keep a job he has already held for almost six years? His explanation for everything is that, 'they're working on it' 'he needs time'... But the evidence does not support that. No Nigerian president has ever been held in such low esteem by the public, and the image of the country is being affected. Buhari is a man who is ready for the job. Read his first 100 days plan, and you will see much that is obviously needed in governance. Jonathan has wasted 6 years of our lives but the healing begins soon. #change #GMB #APC |
People responding here are just blinkered. APC supporters have been shot in Rivers State, offices bombed, and one official murdered. Is Rivers State in the north? Take the damn log out of your own eye before accusing others. Most of the threats of violence have come from the SS and the president has not called his dogs to order. #change #GMB #APC |

How long did it take him to condemn the 2011 post election violence? Boko haram?
