Both the North & South have competent candidates so in the interest of the country’s unity we will have a southern president. I am a PDP supporter but if APC fields a better candidate, we vote APC simple.

I wasn't against EndSars protest all I am saying is reports should be holistic. The govt messed up also the protest degenerated into an unmanageable situation.

You did recall how bad the menace of kidnapping and armed robbery was before the setting up of SARS? I know people that have been killed my brother was also a victim of kidnap in 2014 but I don’t know anyone that has been even harassed by SARS let alone killed.

SARS was disbanded. What other negotiations do you need but as I pointed out, the Government of the day was not wise enough to know when the protest degenerated to a crisis situation.

Nigeria innocent youth only wanted disbandment of SARS to save the lives of many youth that would have been dead by now.

1) Nigeria government don't give a dam.n about her citizen and caused the protest to last due to their ingenuity in disbanding SARS and the you never relented .
After disbandment the youth wanted other things fixed for Nigeria but the government at this time felt they can't be dictated for.

Curfew was extended till 9pm for everyone, you meant to say those who were at the Toll gate would have been searched and arrested on their way home while those who were never there would be allowed safe passage?

Anyone that wanted to obey the Curfew will not be at the Toll gate at that time. We were evacuated from our company before 1pm that day. I heard about the curfew extension from 4 - 9pm at about 6pm when I had already gotten home and shopped for drinking water and grocery.

I am not and can never be a Fan of Tinubu, Lai or Buhari and I agree largely with the report of the Panel but the entire reportage is not balanced.

The government of the day - LASG and FG (IG of Police) did not manage the entire EndSars protest professionally. The brute force that was used to disperse the protest at Lekki toll gate was the only option left for the Government at that point in time and these are my reasons.
1. Why is nobody reporting that the government allowed the protest to last for over 2 weeks in lagos, Abuja and several other cities meaning that the govt. recognizes the right to protest.
2. Why is nobody talking about how the protest at the toll gate gave birth to many other protest sites in several parts of lagos and was making normal life unbearable for other citizens due to road blocks and all.
3. Why is nobody talking about how the protest have degenerated into a crisis situation with prison break, burning of Police stations, killing of police men, looting and destruction etc. As at 7pm of 20.10.20, over 30 police stations in Lagos was on fire and several policemen killed.
Last but not the least, the people that were at the lekki toll gate protest venue at the time of arrival of the military cannot be said to be law abiding. They were defying a government imposed curfew which is to take effect by 4pm that day.
Citizens have all right to protest but the government should also has a job to manage the overall security situation in the communities. My 2 cents

2. No. Protest at the toll gate didn't give rise to any other protest. Lekki became a rallying point at some time.
Why are you not asking
1. Why did they off the lights, and manipulated the CCTV at the toll gate?
2. Why did col. Bello refuse to show up at the panel?
Why are the bereaved families being threatened not to speak to media?
3. Why did the army deny and later agree to being there? And finally,
4. Why did the army remove the corpse just like they did in Zaria?
