I have a B.Sc Industrial Chemistry ( 4.01/5), Pgd Chemical Engineering ( Distinction ).

I applied for a Canadian admission for MSc.E Chemical Engineering. Normally for your admission to be successful you need to secure a supervisor whose research interest is similar to yours. I have done that and he encouraged me to apply. I submitted my application and after going through my application with other supporting documents like letter of motivation and others, he sent me a mail this afternoon that they want to consider me PhD instead of MSc I applied for. I'm very confused right now if to accept it or not considering high standard of education abroad as I use to hear, I haven't experienced foreign education before, this is my first. Please note my ultimate goal is to obtain a PhD. Please help me push to the front thread cos I need advice from experienced Nigerians who have studied abroad. Thanks. I appreciate

Note: God hates all sins including sexual sin. I am also vehemently against sin and I am 100% for holiness. Making continuous practice of sin will harden your heart towards God. But you can only overcome sin until you are always conscious of who you are in Christ and the provisions God has made available to you in Him. When you know and believe God has nothing against you because He has forgiven all your sins before you ever committed them, you will lose every desire to indulge in sexual immorality. In fact, the act will be so disgusting to you.

The grace of God is not a license to sin but it empowers you to live above sin. It is even more than enough to overcome sin. We just have to embrace it.
When you believe right, you will always live right!

All I am saying is to forgive is Divine.

And as long as we are mere mortals, to sin or err is a must. it may be from husband or wife. Therefore, we should always be ready to forgive one another.

You have a good point about the need to forgive, yet reference should not be made to Hosea and Gomer as what happened btw them wasn't natural, just a supernatural symbol of God's relationship with Israel.

This has been my worry! The supreme court is about to destroy all the efforts of former inec boss in checkmating rigging and ballot snatching. After the horrid display we saw in rivers election, validating it will only harden the hearts of die-hard riggers to return to the era of ballot snatching and stuffing.

This is a supreme mistake but not totally the fault of the supreme court. The court is a court of law, and not a court of justice. Meaning that it takes decisions only backed by law and constitution. It only upheld what the constitution said and not what we believe is right or wrong.


The way forward...

This can obly be corrected by the nass. Let the national assembly ammend the electoral act to include a consistent and mandatory use of the card reader. This way, cases coming to the courts will have a legal and constitutional backing. Else, we are back to the horrible days of electoral violence and where the most violent taketh it by force.

To me, the situation was worsened by the inability of the card readers to perform. If INEC uses functional card readers, it will not unnecessarily become ground for debate concerning election authenticity.
