What I mean is that they charge Nigerians higher than other African countries.

Dstv subscription in Nigeria is the cheapest on the continent despite our harsh business environment.
If they drop football, they'll still retain many subscribers because they have some of the best content both locally and globally.
Finally, people have to realise that cable TV is not an essential utility like electricity and water. All over the world, cable TV is expensive and for only people who can afford. That's why there's public TV like BBC and NTA in our case.

All I saw above was about diphtheria, measles, polio and meningitis.
I have a close friend that wasn't immunized as a child, he eventually contracted polio, and the scare of it IS and WILL continue to hunt him for the rest of his life.
There's nothing wrong taking a vaccine for any of these.... But forcing it on people is what I don't want.
Let those that don't want to take be left alone, others that want to take... Let them be given.

That's just my take.

Those who are not vaccinated will make the herd immunity of the general population lower.
If most people are vaccinated, herd immunity will be high and the disease won't even appear frequently.

I however believe this bill was hurriedly prepared and needs so many adjustments.

I however know about wound healing and all the changes that happen in reproductive organs within that period. It's based on this knowledge we advise women when we're discharging them.
Unless you feel I don't know my job.

The CS would have healed before then unless she had wound complications.
I would know because I do CS for women.

I'm saying the CS has little to do with when the woman can resume sex. Surgical wound would have healed even before the six weeks max recommended.

At least, six months. So that the vaginal walls that expanded during delivery can can contract back to normal. My mum taught me this and during their time, it was 1 year before they resume. Resuming almost immediately weakens the walls and getting them back together is usually difficult cos it was not given enough time to heal. And that is why mother's of today after one or two children have slack VJ and Begin to run to us for vagina tightening. That was why during our mothers time you hardly find women looking for vagina tightening remedy.

So 6 months to 1 year is fine. It will also help mother and child to stay healthy.

Four to six weeks is ok as she's almost out of pueperium.
The main reason they used to wait that long back then was because they were ignorant about different contraceptive methods coupled with the poor access to reproductive health services.
Abstinence was their major form of family planning. Even at that, a woman may not see her period for up to six months if she breastfeeds exclusively and so she's not at risk of pregnancy.

Hazard allowance for Nigerian health workers is 5k per month not per day.

Dear, I'm a true child of the land.
Not bashing Nigeria in anyway and my post is not intended to. Just stating the obvious since I'm not aware of how it's done by our hospitals here.

I'm a doctor and I'm telling you it's not routine anywhere in the world to do imaging studies post op except for specific reasons in specific surgeries. It's not as if we're doing the wrong thing in Nigeria.

Think it's normal to go for post surgery scan. It's always recommended to check if there's no anomaly and to be sure everything is ok. Not talking about Nigeria, don't know if they do that.

It's in very few cases this is required and for very specific reasons.
Always looking for an opportunity to bash Nigeria.

Ok but to be on a safer side can a patient still request for another scan a day or two after CS just to be safe. I'm afraid because I'm a lady, and I believe most of the victims were women

Counting during surgery is more reliable than any scan you'll do after surgery.
