Health / Re: 2.2m Nigerian Children Not Immunised – UNICEF, GAVI by Chartey(m): 12:53pm On Nov 08, 2022 |
Akorkor: First of all, there's nothing like MMR in Nigeria. You mentioning it shows you've been getting information from a lot of foreign conspiracy theory groups that have nothing to do with Africa. Second, the MMR vaccine in places where it's used, is one of the most effective vaccines that has contributed to the very low incidence of Measles, Mumps and Rubella in the countries where it's used. Most cases of the diseases they record there are among immigrants from poor countries in Asia and Africa (plus Nigeria), and people there who have refused to vaccinate their children. 2 Likes 1 Share |

symbianDON:It's a global practice. Aside clinic, they have ward rounds for admitted patients, surgeries, academic activities and other engagements too. Those other engagements have their own days. If it's an emergency, you go to the Emergency department or A&E. If it's not an emergency, you wait till your appointment date. It's the global standard and people can wait for months to get seen even abroad. 3 Likes |

Nigerians should stop giving wrong answers to questions they know nothing about. You don't even need to be married to a partner to get a dependent visa for them. Go to gov.uk and read up everything about dependents on Tier 2. How did you even apply for and get a Tier 2 without reading the guidelines and terms on the website? Or did someone do it for you? 3 Likes 1 Share |

Na so e easy for the abroad. When he can just focus and finish his medicine, go abroad much more easily, start working immediately and make serious money. Some of you should desist from giving advice on matters you don't know much about. Even for naija here, e get doctors wey dey make millions per month with international organisations. shogotermies: There are different causes of jaundice. There are also different levels of severity. The cause and how serious it is will determine the kind of treatment. Most cases don't need serious treatment but the serious ones need the right treatment given very fast. So how will they know if they don't rush to the hospital first? |
Politics / Re: Voters Registration: Dele Momodu Defends Borno With Proof by Chartey(m): 6:28am On Jun 23, 2022 |
dway2life: An average Borno graduate knows far more about the labour market and probably has experience already before finishing school due to exposure to many different international organisations present there. Someone graduating with a B.Sc in Biology probably already knows about Logistics and Supply chain, Information mgt, Human Resources etc even before graduation due to volunteering with one or two NGOs. A graduate elsewhere in Nigeria has probably never heard of some of these fields. This same Borno that has people from different parts of the world walking in the streets? Some of you really need to travel and see other places for once in your life. 1 Like |

shaggy007: How do I even start? There are more than 100 different types of blood tests. How would she know which is relevant? A lot of skin conditions don't even need any blood test, at worst she may need what we call a biopsy to check the kind of cells in that place. That's done by a type of doctor called pathologist. The point I'm making is that you don't just get up and go to a lab. Most times, it's waste of time and money because whatever test you do may not be relevant to your condition because a doctor didn't see you to decide what test you would need, that's even if you need a test at all. |
