Some people just take joy in displaying their ignorance. It is not a Jonathan or even a Jonathan-initiated project. It is an ECOWAS project and it has been in the works for many years now. Funding is from "development partners" (presumably China). If any country benefits most, it should be Ghana because the road will be across it's whole breadth and it will have the most number of towns and probably toll-gates on it.

Borrow a strong decoder. Use it to setup d dish for the satellite u want. Then go to the list of satellites in ur hitv receiver after connection. Select the satellite u got with the strong and "search all free channels". I did something like that for a friend with a hitv receiver but unfortunately i can't recall d exact command since i don't see a hitv receiver often.

If this really happened, then it should be condemned totally. I must add though that some Nigerians have this "too-known" attitude and are kind of proud when in other African countries. I've seen this first-hand and explained to lots of people that not all Nigerians are like that. Funny thing is, when i tell people I'm half-ghanaian, they tell me that's the reason I'm not like that.
One thing is certain though, South Africans have issues with Nigerians.

Let's get some few things straight.
1. This is not about South Africa or Supersport. It's about LC2, the broadcast right owners, so pls stop using this as an excuse to bash SA. SA is even losing a lot in this tournament as CAF doesn't want them to lower ticket prices to allow more people into the stadiums.
2. That 4.5million Euros for Nigeria was very fair considering the population and what the stations stood to gain from adverts. Lots of companies e.g Guinness and other beverage companies. The TV stations/BON are getting unwarranted sympathy by playing on the psyche of the average Nigerian to feel cheated.
3. Nothing stops Telcos and Banks from advertising. Orange and Standard Bank are only sponsoring the tournament AND NOT THE BROADCAST. Ghana Commercial Bank are seriously advertising on GTV as the second biggest sponsor of it's broadcast after RLG.
4. I expect nigerians to be SMART and not accept lame excuses from these stations. THEY MAY HAVE ANGLED FOR BIGGER PROFITS IF THEY WERE IN THE POSITION OF LC2. They've failed and they must just admit it honourably rather than solicit cheap sympathy from undiscerning citizens.

SiliconTv told me(on Facebook) that they also own ECN and are working on it and it will soon be ready. U can search and add them, they reply comments sometimes. It's the page with their tv logo o.
Also for those of you interested, there is a repeat of cine afrik premieres on now. Maybe they've finally decided to start showing repeats for those who miss it on Saturday.

mrkels: For over 3 weeks multi tv have not been showing in the south oh, I wonder how you people watch multi tyv on your decoders. Now am stuck with boring ctl channels. What I think is because they are not getting any revenue from nigerians, they wanna cut us short. Shekina.BTW, if anyone has a new satelite/freq for those multi tv channels, pls share them as I miss joytv and now I need the ever boring joy sports to start working again at least they would show all the african cup of nations matches. They're not getting much revenue from gh either. It's free there too. Blind scan and see first. As for d signal fluctuation, it occurs periodically in Zaria here, but it's always brief, say 2-3mins. I seriously suspect sabotage from dstv. They've been losing their access and family customers.
