azpekuliar:I grieve over your 'I'm I supposed' to blunder. |
Lexit:I guess the government is dumb too for clamping down on them. I hope you are smart enough to know that they are breaking Nigeria's condition for giving out loans. If they are operating illegally, then are as big a criminal as loan defaulters. If they are doing the right thing, they wouldn't be hiding their base of operation. |
OSUigboFlatHead:So far so good, konibaje ... Shey you no sabi comprehend |
OSUigboFlatHead:Bubu is doing you a huge favor, i admit loans should be easily accessible but these loan sharks are rip off |
Lies, same loan apps that want to finish me with 'you have a loan offer' on WhatsApp. How can you borrow me 50k and expect me to pay 70k within a week? Even the most astute business man can't make such profits. It only means one thing, they know people won't be able to pay back, so if they don't the money keeps increasing, before you know it, in two weeks you would have been owing 100k on top 50k loan and a lot of blackmail. That's the biggest and most fraudulent rip off, these loan apps are scammers and a cheat shouldn't complain if someone beats him to his own own game! |
iswallker:Explain |
blackpanda:I support making our institutions autonomous as well, but that requires planning. It's not something we can just wake up and do. Let them start making plans now, but will they? |
ASUU demands three things: 1) IPPS/UTAS 2) Increase in salary 3) An improvement in University infrastructure In my opinion, if the government cannot afford an upward review of salary because we are broke, at least it is their responsibility to provide the infrastructures needed in our institutions. I think if the government compromise on their IPPS/UTAS situation, ASUU will resume. Even if they cannot increase their salary, let ASUU have their UTAS system but the government can set up a taskforce to monitor fraudulent activities and let ICPC/EFCC prosecute any lecturer who is fraudulent. |
vertueptime:No, it's the choice of chemical used. Water and detergent will off that water at first try! Not CO2 |
Funny that a fire service man does not know the appropriate chemical to use for a specific fire. |
Ddokie:Some supermarkets bake their own bread |

Government hates competition! |
phemmyfour:Pls read my last paragraph, YOU CAN NOW PRINT PLASTIC ID CARD BY YOURSELF. If you know a place where they have no access to power and internet. They that is a job opportunity for someone to earn money. Simply gather their info, go to the city, print their card and Voila, they have a plastic National ID |
phemmyfour:Actually regarding the National ID, I think he made the best decision. Before the government announced that they'll stop the production of the plastic ID I have opined to friends that the government can actually make it easier. I proposed two options, one is employment generation, a person like me won't mind paying 1000-2000 Naira just to have a National ID ( I know some might argue that the government should provide it free). Imagine a sincere effort to generate 2000×100,000,000 (at least half of the population don't have the card), this will mean trillions of Naira generated and a plastic card cost just about #500 per one. Since it isn't a profit oriented effort, the trillions can be used to set up printing post in all 776 local government in Nigeria. You can imagine the number of citizens that will be involved in building the offices, painting, designing, office workers etc, this will provide employment for at least 100,000 Citizens throughout the country thereby solving two problems(unemployment and identification) with one idea. The second idea is to make the ID card available online with a template so citizens can just use the format to print their own plastic ID card which is what the government actually went with. So if you are still waiting for plastic ID, you are on a long thing, just go to the nearest cafe around and ask how to print the card. Price ranges from #2000-#3000. |

I have downloaded a 100MB plus file in seconds few times. The first time it happened I thought the download failed only to check and see that it's downloaded already. My toilet and parlour usually have the fastest speed.

Achizzy7:Based on current payment trend, Mid Nov. C1 received their first payment around Nov 15. If you intend to teach pls don't make the mistake of staying in your ppa full time. Have other job pls or else you'll be frustrated. |
Zonefree:No be my girl sha |
frankson1:'Purnised'?? You obviously don't know the value of education. |
ezenwaez:I did, no reply yet |
I am being owed 3months, Nov Dec and April is still processing. The people managing this program's payment no try at all. |
anonimi:You really think only hardwork make people rich? Go to Alaba market, Oshodi, Aba etc and see people wake up 4am to resume work feeding only on bread and coke to save up for several years with little to show for it. Or go to private primary schools in Nigeria to witness the kind of effort put into teaching to collect only 20000 monthly. I swear Atiku has never worked as hard as that 'mei ruwa" on your street or that taxi driver on the road or the bricklayer on site. So what are you onto? |
The rich getting richer |
Then resign and let your citizen elect a pastor and they should also cease all civil and private job but go to church everyday so they can worship God. Why need a government when God is the solution? |
I have never read such incoherent gibberish from a supposedly educated fellow. |
Franking:Nature has a way of balancing itself, as long as dirt is everywhere, organisms that thrives on dirt will keep wrecking havoc. Why not tackle the source, if we eradicate dirt not only will mosquitoes be gone, lots of diseases will be gone as well. |
He mad sr s |
I hope everyone knows it isn't only University unions that are on strike, colleges and I think polytechnic are on strike too. Total collapse of Nigeria's tertiary education system. |
sirblend:You no dey read? |
