Hi,

I'll go straight to the point:

1. It was a party we organised in school with a blend of fashion. It was the award night. My department contributed immensely to the success of the occasion, especially the cooking.

Those were the days I was handsome. I walked with my designers suit, and the fragrance from my Miss Elliot's perfume filled the room. I saw people stealing glances. Oh, my head grew in size.

Food time!

These petites girls would pass me and serve others food. Men, we hosted this, I would say in my mind! cry I was so hungry I called one of them.

After asking her why I wasn't serves yet and making my order, she apologized, went in, returned and said the rice was finished! What!

I rejected soup.

At a point, my stomach was saying otherwise, I had to call her to bring the soup ‘like that,’ babe tell me say na the last plate of soup she go serve. I nearly died. E pained me no bi small.

2. I was invited to a marriage. My pal's sister was getting married. The happiness was all butterfly colours.

Later,

I was sitting down and seeing well-groomed guys running, and some hiding in their cars... what's happening?

Mah just look back, two Aso Ebi hold me. The MC made sure he collected down till my transport fare that day. I was just smiling sheepishly, and thinking about the skills I'd have used to run had it be I weren't caught.

3. Eat roughly at my pal's marriage. I couldn't use their toilet cos I feared the odour it would bring.

I took a bike downtown to a public toilet. The WC was damn down, and had a faulty door hook. I'd just stamp my foot when I heard footsteps approaching or hum.

One footstep owner refused to stop and pushed the door fast. I stood up. Oh fada, it's just the girl I dey phoney for give wey I lied to I wanted to withdraw. Mehn. She too wanted to use it the toilet.

I tried to bone but the frown mah just weak commot.

I was ashamed. I stood inside saying why why why.

The odour was too much, and Abednego was just floating and refused to flush well.

4. Better left unsaid. Sb stole my phone, changed password and kept it back. Soon, they raised alarm. Guyman say my phone na en own. My corner gather with angry faces holding weapons.

You know that kind thing wey you no need to argue, na to just speak clean English bring the phone out, unlock, show the crowd and walk out like a boss?

That's what I intended doing till the phone failed to unlock. The sweat that filled my body could fill a bucket!

Later I realised it was a prank by my friend. Oh, I was so happy it was a prank.

History history.

Please share yours.

It takes self-control to win over this. It will all turn out that everyone was proving their rights.

You wanted to divorce her because of her mother. Her own mother!

You have been looking for a credible reason to cling unto for the break up.

Now, you see this as a stronghold, hence you deploy traditional rites.

Whatever happened to “for better for worse.”

It is a detestable thing to me reading comments from men who feel are always right in relationships. Have you taken a break and reasoned things from her angle?

You weren't present on the day of delivery due to some personal reasons of yours, fine. Why the rules over the placenta?

Ok, I understand the rites. They should keep the placenta for you till the month you decide to reconcile with your wife?

Which family in disunity will allow the husband's people to come and boss around in the time of delivery when the husband himself didn't show up?

How do you expect a woman to hate her mother because of you!

Even if there are things you don't like, set things straight amicably; you are only a husband not a god!

You are a mere man feeling principled. Release the twist.

Sorry, I don't mince words.

Very matured and responsible lady who waited until after delivery before uploading the photos.

Unlike some who see pregnancy as UEFA champions league, that goes about taking photos at the group stage and uploading them just to get attention.

Adesua is not just beautiful, but she's a wise lady.
Before or after doesn't make any difference. Were photos uploaded? Yes. Case closed.

So, that's not a point.

The first movie I saw she was featured in was one where her husband always hit her badly till Michael Majid stepped in.

Hi Walai,

I think you are still successful because you have the most important thing: life.

I know of sb who bought a house, and a car , but had an accident on his way home and never entered the new house with his family. His corpse was instead buried there.

No children, accepted.

No wife, accepted.

No house, no car..? This is not being successful. These are added value to life.

Account always red?

Can we have an audit? Are there things you aren't doing so well?

Once there is life, there is hope.

I am privileged to chat you.

At a point in my life, although younger than you, I spent more than I earned monthly. I never lived around my budget.

I wanted to leave the status quo. I wanted to be the in the reality everyone dreamed. Sth was missing, I was always needing validation. I was always needing sth.

If your happiness is based on needing sth or acquiring sth, you can never be happy because there must be sth you will always need.

Of course, I am not a millionaire! But, I am able to afford all I need without bothering the peace of anyone. I think that's a success.

Contentment helped me. Reading the Bible, I sifted the most important things in my life and it helped me have a positive view of life.

Thanks for letting me reply you.

Sorry for your loss.

Life like a mist,
Appears for just a day,
And disappears tomorrow.

All that we are,
Can quickly fade away.
Replaced with tears and sorrow.

I know you are trying to console yourself but she's not hovering anywhere. She doesn't need to be reminded to rest in peace. She is not resting in peaces.

She only answered the nature call of death we all mutually share.

When I lost my sister, I tried comforting myself with the resurrection hope.

She's gone in death.

But I assure you she can live again! Not by reincarnation, or any means of the afterlife, but by resurrection!

He will call, and she will answer.

May we all be strengthened with this hope.
