Your past will speak for you, whether you are there or not. Tinubu's past is the reason Nigerians will vote him massively.

Ask pandora Obituary and Atiku of their pasts, their wild overgrown puppies will descend on you like hungry hyenas feasting on a dead pig.

Nigerians watching pandora Obituary and Atiku's past as governor and vice president respectively right now.
So because he went to visit someone in the hospital that's why nigerians should vote for him? Have you guys run out of tangible reasons why nigerians should vote for Tinubu?

During Rotimi Amaechi's regime and at the peak of his fight with Wike, Magnus Abe was seriously shot and wounded. Tinubu was there for him. The relationship did not start today.
How will this make nigeria a better place?

You Southeasterners are not smart... All efforts for Buhari to win y'all over during his campaign were all twisted and misconstrued, talked down and made jokes by you guys, another candidate is preaching to you about eating from the center but you guys are purposefully misconstruing him, you did everything to get Buhari mad while he was campaigning to be president and still frustrating him now that he's done, I will never understand you people.... Stop putting all your eggs in one basket.. even Al Mustapha will get votes in the SW but mob mentality will not make SE do the right thing.

Konquest:
Chief MKO Abiola, GCFR, had most of his businesses crippled by the repressive Military junta of that dark-goggled, Kano-born Kanuri man who brazenly stole over $4 billion of Nigeria's money into offshore bank accounts mainly through the Central Bank of Nigeria.

The business grounding and collapses had nothing to do with mismanagement or a bad succession plan by Abiola.

It was during that horrid period in the early to late 1990s that I ended up realizing how easy it is to ruin a business of a billionaire in times of political upheavals by Military dictatorships.

Nice thread.
thank you. i just de see people to talk many grammar of vision, succession paln and all worth not. many were not privy to what happened to Abiola

How many of his children worked in his various company and what positions did they hold.

oh no. I dont know what a succession plan means. can you please tell me?

One of the problems Imho is the African expectation that the child will continue the business. Business acumen or passion is not hereditary.

So there is no proper succession plan in place.

And As others have said too many naija businesses are based on patronage and relationships.

Simple Answer.... THEY DIED TOO EARLY ... they were not prepared for death.

It happen not just to CEOs, pastors too, kings too, etc

WHEN ESTABLISHING MULTIPLE THINGS.... the heir may still be in school or underaged... and everyone close to them may not share their vision, may only be there for the money. So only those who have reached a level where they remember that death can come for them in less than 20 years begin the process of GROOMING a successor.

Once the visioneer has not raised anyone to share the same vision, the vision dies with him.
Abiolas children from his first wife were already grown up. Kola was already into his businesses. Dr. Doyin one of abiolas wives was running concord newspapers

Education › Re: Covenant University To Build School Of Law & Medicine With N6 Billion - Oyedepo by CheapHomes1: 3:11pm On Jan 11, 2023
BennyDGreat:
There's no need for forth and back..if you have concrete data that the establishment of a school of law and medicine by Covenant University will have no effect on Ogun state in general, I will accept your submission.

The woman I made mention of now benefits the Ogun state economy....I only made reference to Alimosho in my earlier posts because that's where she was resident at the time...she now runs and lives in Ogun state.....I hope you get it now...

There are currently vendors within the University community earning a living and employing others....

I already gave you places where sand could come from within the state.

How can you one even say a 6bilion investment within a state contributes nothing to development in a state?
Can you show me where I said or didn't say? You are the one that said. You cherry picking that's why we going back and forth.

1. Who are the "we" that have concrete data?

2. Now you are all over the place contradicting yourself. At first you said "There's a restaurant opposite Living faith, the church that controls Covenant University....", now you are saying that there's a woman that operates a restaurant opposite canaanland. Is being opposite canaanland the same as being opposite living faith church?

3. if concrete data isnt available, how are you able to draw all these conclusions?

4. If someone all the way from alimosho Lagos was brought in as a food vendor, how does buttress your argument that the Ogun state will be developed by the establishment of schools of law and medicine?

5. Which businesses are around covenant university ota that will benefit from the building of schools of law and medicine?

6. Which food vendors will have increased patronage due to increase in number of students? Where will these vendors be situated? How many number of students will that be?

7. Is it only sand that is in this question?

Where are these items "cement, sand, gravel, human resource (what human resources), iron works...etc going to come from in Ogun state?

8. How have pharmaceuticals in Shagamu and Ilisan been enhanced due to the presence of teaching hospitals in those areas? Can you provide concrete data?

Those from the SE region criticizing Soludo because he refused to endorsed Obi , you all should know that politics is beyond bitterness and it is about interest. Obasanjo is Yoruba and has endorsed Peter Obi like wise the leader of Afenifere down to Afe Babalola but i am yet to see Yorubas cursing and insulting the them. All this Nzobgu Nzobgu politics will not help Alaigbo.

BennyDGreat:
Read my submission again, you will get my thoughts clearly.

We both don't have concrete data to prove any of our points.

I gave you an example I am familiar with...the woman I mentioned now operates opposite Canaanland in OTA, Ogun state...has a massive building and employs not less than 15 people.

Ogun state has many places like Itele, Abeokuta, Aiyetoro that can supply sand....

Pharmaceuticals like Neros, Drugfield are in OTA...if the teaching hospital needs drugs that these pharmaceuticals have. It's pretty much easier. It saves the pharmaceutical transport cost... that's a solid revenue point over time
Who are the "we" that have concrete data?

I have read your submission and it doesn't follow. Your argument all along is that development will come to Ogun state because of the establishment of the school of medicine and law at CU. You also claimed that there are businesses AROUND CU that will be positively affected. You now gave an example of a woman from alimosho. With your example, you ended up striking down your argument that it is those in Ogun state that will benefit since it is a woman from alimosho in Lagos that ended up providing food in canaanlabd and not someone from Ogun state.

Now you are all over the place contradicting yourself. At first you said "There's a restaurant opposite Living faith, the church that controls Covenant University....", now you are saying that there's a woman that operates opposite canaanland. Is being opposite canaanland the same as being opposite living faith church?

You still left my questions unanswered.

if concrete data isnt available, how are you able to draw all these conclusions?

you had claimed that there are businesses around covenant university hence my question. now you are talking about a restaurant owner who was picked from Alimosho in Lagos state and all your grammar has been about businesses in ogun state. that still leaves us with these questions unanswered...

Which businesses are around covenant university ota that will benefit from the building of schools of law and medicine?

Which food vendors will have increased patronage due to increase in number of students? Where will these vendors be situated? How many number of students will that be?

Where are these items "cement, sand, gravel, human resource (what human resources), iron works...etc going to come from in Ogun state?

How have pharmaceuticals in Shagamu and Ilisan been enhanced due to the presence of teaching hospitals in those areas? Can you provide concrete data?
