Many people are ignorant that they think myopically, the reason oil price and nigerian currency is falling is a way Usa used in punishing Russia but they think is nigeria's internal problem. Smh...check russias economy is about crumbling and their no1 source of income is through oil and gas...
You are the ignorant and myopic one. How much of the money made in the last four years have been invested in infrastructure? What has been your government response to the oil price challenge? Looking at 2015 budget, does it look like PDP govt is ready to make hard choices? This is Nigeria's internal problem. The article talks about an upsurge in foreign investment and we just came out of a period of high oil prices - why didn't the naira appreciate? Why do you think Sanusi cried out that money was missing? See the big picture and stop being myopic.

I will only do that if you can show me the ideals PDP preaches and where it practices these ideals. This is an alternative and if you think it's about the selfish interest of some few, you possibly do not understand how bad we have fallen in the 16 years of PDP rule.

This is the man we need right NOW. NOW OR NEVER. He so much understands the security situations and I believe he is in possession of intelligence. He probably has more intel than GEJ who is more or less a sitting duck who has lost all his respect.
He is a leader we need right now and the best in the options we have. Spread the truth and we will have Nigerians elect him in 2015.

I can agree with you that his houseboy position perfectly fits him well because that's the best position you and your kind deemed necessary after all the fight he's been fighting to create awareness about your party in a region that ordinarily your party wouldn't make a dent without his personal effort.Let's see how the right decision unfolds after you've lost out come February 2015. grin

All the juicy positions in the party structure the only one that fits Amaechi is a campaign manager because he is a fighter, just listen to yourself and after the elections he becomes irrelevant.....smh
Ok. Amaechi is APC's houseboy. Is he complaining? He is finished politically? When Alams, an ex convict and fugitive from the law can still aspire to be a senator, no one can be finished politically in Nigeria in a PDP govt.
Were you expecting Amaechi to be party chairman?

@Chemali.

Bruv, you have done well. Let me advise you to stop responding to everyone here. You must choose who to engage and respond to so that your use of the forum is productive. A manifesto is a broad outline of plans and not a specific budget sheet. Everyone knows that and it is pointless arguing with anyone insisting otherwise because it is obvious that anyone asking for the APC manifesto to be different to that of virtually all political Parties worldwide, through the inclusion of a cost sheet, is simply a pro-GEJ mischief-maker. Where they not asking for a manifesto before? Now that it is here they will not even act appropriately and take a minute to inspect it to then pass comment on the action plans of the Party. Instead they move straight to the diversionary and inane obduracy about cost when genuinely exposed individuals know that a political manifesto is not required to be a bill of quantities or cost document.

Would it surprise you to know that Mikeansy, as one example of of the mischief to avoid, used to spam this forum saying that the APC should not be taken seriously because it is a Party that has no manifesto telling the people about the plans the Party has for them. Lo and behold the presentation of the manifesto and he quickly joins those distractingly demanding a breakdown of cost. Dude, it is all just one giant contraption of deceit. These guys know and have always known who they stand for because of one sectional reason or the other. Don't waste your own time and productivity with their sort. Imagine someone telling us he is a "British citizen" , with a deliberately sly put-down of Nigeria, only to be using "we" in another post to insinuate he is Nigerian. Is that the sort of confusion you want to indulge?
Very true. Thanks.

How far with this lie and rubbish talk

A party that disobeys the courts, harass and lock up opposition, shut down and trampled on the media is talking about justice, Equity and Fair play.

Manifesto and reality doesn't match..

So you feel we need change? Good. Is staying with PDP for 20 years by 2019 change? No! Is moving to APC for the next 4 years change? Yes. Is Osibanjo change? Yes. Is Namadi Sambo change? No. Is Buhari change? Yes! Is Goodluck Jonathan who has been in the presidency for 8 years change? No! If you need change, then you should vote APC.

Good. In 2011, he made a litany of promises. People had to google, read newspapers etc to come up with a comprehensive list. It seems what this benighted paid propagandist called Chemali did is go on google and copy and paste the first things he found.

There is no policy substance to Nigerian politics as people operate purely on sentiments. GEJites hope to win by cobbling together a coalition of Southerners and Middle-Beltans who are afraid of the "Fulani-imperialist" called Buhari. Buharites hope to win by cobbling together Northerners and Yorubas who want to reclaim their "rightful "place at the centre of Naija politics. Overaching this panoply of tribal/regional sentiments is intellectual ignorance with a litany of ignoramuses who subscribe to views and expectations that make no iota of sense. They say people get the leaders they deserve, Nigeria is a classic case.
Lmao @ paid propagandist. There are Nigerians who can't be bought and have a conscience. If that surprises you, you can choose to not give a damn like your jesus christ (GEJ).
APC has come up with a document showing what they intend to achieve and as a true GEJite, you have turned it to a tribalistic contest.

You are not denying that the APC manifesto is uncosted. In response, you have posted a link to the Tory party homepage and the Labour party's 78 pages long detailed and costed manifesto. Can you tell me how either supports your affinity to vacuous political promises?

To even imply that the detailed political discourse we have in the West is no different from the charade you have in Nigeria is beyond comprehension.

Lets take one issue: Can you estimate the costs of free healthcare for all in Nigeria and how we will pay for it. More importantly, why haven't any of the state governors put this in place already?
No it wasn't costed. Let me give you an example, the labour manifesto says childcare tax credit will be increased by 4 pounds a week. Where do they intend to get the funds? It's not there!
I agree that it is necessary to know where the funds to implement these will come from but this would come from engagement with these aspirants. However, it is not mandatory that the manifesto include the cost of these. We need to make sure that these are not mere promises but a contract.
To your question, I cannot estimate the cost of free healthcare for all. It would require a detailed analysis. However, iif our culture of waste is handled, we would free up more recurrent expenditure for social investments and capital expenditure. Part of this has been addressed in the manifesto where you have suggestions like banning private and first class travels for government officials.

Thank God I am a British citizen. The sheer absurdity of Nigeria's political discourse never ceases to amaze.

A manifesto that lists a set of uncosted objectives is an insult to any educated person's intelligence. Promises to build refineries, infrastructure and raise spending as a percentage of GDP are abundant but no word on the costs and how this is to be paid for. And these are educated Nigerians.
Inasmuch as we need to know how these would be funded, no one gives a damn about your "Britainness"
