Foreign Affairs › Re: Israel Plans Nuclear Strike On Iran by chidichris(m): 12:21pm On Jan 30, 2007
Afam,
it is nice to know that most of here are surporting isreal blindly.
and for u who is supporting iran with open eyes, u said in one of your posts that iranian president is the wisest man you know. u are saying that a country has a right to make public his intention known that he would want another country out of the map.
u and iran are God to say who will exist or who will not-wise man.
anyways, be informed that iran is a light wait compare to isreal. iran calling for war on isreal ois indirectly digging her grave.
we heard saddam boost of 3 million tested soldiers and made it clear to the us that they shld be prepared as they are not coming for a rambo movie rather that they were coming to meet real men and we were all here to witness how it went.
many gave their support to saddam as they will be happy to see the US fail but they ended up being disappointed.
please do not put your trust on iran as they will surely fail u.
they do not have what it takes to fight isreal yet they go knocking on their doors for war.
their support and sponsorship to terrorists organisations have affected their economy that they even owe our own Egypt.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Materazzi In Another Headbutt by chidichris(m): 12:08pm On Jan 30, 2007
i think the next time he will get headbutt, a red card will be added to it because he is not the only player in the pitch and why him always.
fifa should find out what is wrong with the idiot.
the world cup and this are not the only times.
he is a big fool and what is most annoying here is that the head butters are not doing them well.
maybe i will make out time to do that myself and he will know the difference between professional headbutt and non professional
Politics › Re: Is Obasanjo Corrupt? by chidichris(m): 12:04pm On Jan 30, 2007
please answer question by the number of godfathers his administration has produced.
check out the situation of our roads.
look at the security situation in nigeria.
see the level of electrrial mal-practices.
then trace his wealth within this seven and half years and by their fruits we shall know them.
to me, his middle name is surposed to be "corruption"
Foreign Affairs › Re: Iran's Consulate Raided In Iraq By The Coalition Troops by chidichris(m): 11:58am On Jan 30, 2007
Dearest Afam,

i must be straight here to mention it to you that i try as much as i can to stop engaging myself in ur arguements but since this forum is mearnt to inform each other and teach and learn from each other, let me then get a point clear here.

that iran holding embassy workers hostage for 444 days in absence of war is not a crime and what is a crime here is a raid in the iranian liason office.

please reffer us the novice to the constitutional backing of your position. please quote this constitution of urs maybe a UN resolution or Iranian law.

is hostage taking in any law a legal action?

please, be informed that in times of war, there is anarchy and in this case as it concerns the level of violence in Iraq, everybody is a suspect and top above all is iran whose weapons have been found in different areas of Iraq especially the militant strongholds.

it is not always good to say things without backing in public fforums like this, i would need your backups on this issue before i will continue.

it is true many will not like to hear this but i have been forced to believe that some slavery could be better than freedom.
we are not slaves in Nigeria but most slaves are better than us.
a country with practically all the natural gifts of God yet the populace are dying of hunger.
if i have my way, i would want us to suffer apartheid and be like south africa today.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Are The Best Playing Team In The Premiership. by chidichris(m): 7:06pm On Jan 28, 2007
my dear it would have been more matured if you let us know ur bases for this judgement.
if we go by the dictionary meaning' best' in this post would have to cover all aspects of the teams.
at the end of every season, the best team is rewarded with a trophy so are u giving the trophy to arsenal.
please revisit your post and let us know what you want to say so that we can know how to contribute and be informed that the best was wrongly used.
please make it clearer like u can discuss entertainment or goal scoring or defence.
but if you insist on arsenal playing the best team, i will be forced to say man u who is toping the table is playing the worst game.
my dear be sure u watch most of a team's matches b4 u judge them.
the critics given to the arsenal side this season is creating 100 chances and not scoring one goal.

Politics › Re: INEC Machines Found In Adedibu's House by chidichris(op): 11:16am On Jan 28, 2007
we only need God at this present time as only his intervention will save us from the shame of our present time.
what we have today in Nigeria is the same as that of the archival ages when it was believed that " Might is Just".
it is our case today. the poor are now where close to justice with almost everything going back to 20 years with adverstisements of reforms only heard and seen on our TVS and RADIOS.
in an improving economy as they claiming, one will be able to compare the price of rice, garri, beans, petrolium houses as at 1998 and today. we will be able to compare the availability of petrolium products, electricity, health care and other basic human needs between 98 and now. one will be able to say or remember the conditions of our roads before this administration and now. we should be able to analyse the security system in the country before 1999 and now. it is only a compare and contrast on the few mentioned issues and others that one will be able to ascertain where we are heading to.
reforms in our banks will not be at its best when there is no electricity. servicing of foriegn debts will not be the best in a society where 90% of the population hardly eat two times a day.
a society that has made evil to be seen as good. a society that give award to people who confess to rigging elections.
a society where a man wakes up to be a billonaire without querries as long as he is working to for right people.
a society where selected justice is the order of the day. a society where rigging is a proffession. a society where rullers are selected instead of elected.
OBJ can't or couldn't have done better with the means of his selection. we will wake up one day to hear that Adedibu has been appointed the new INEC chairman since he has started keeping the machines.
Sports › Re: Plz Help Mikel Obi 's Career by chidichris(m): 10:31am On Jan 28, 2007
most of us here contradicts mikel issue with chelsea issues.
in every club there are more than 30 players like in our national teams. it is only the best ones that will get the jersy.
who has the guarrantee that mikel plays better than all the players in man u and arsenal.
in arsenal and man u he will get a regular shirt wether he plays well or not.
the young man is there making him cool money and we are here crying over a spilt milk.
if i have my way, na chelsea be: "ebe ano" na them i know. no one will reject wedding for a burial unless na mad person.
Politics › Apartheid In South Africa, A Blessing Or A Course? by chidichris(op): 10:19am On Jan 28, 2007
the apartheid era in south africa was highly condemed and rejected by countries and individuals from all works of live.
the era marked the dark days especially for the black south africans as they suffered unquantified height of mal-treatments from the rulling white class.
South Africa today could been seen as the only Africa country close to the european standards.
it is on record that most of the standards were set up during the apartheid era and today the benefits are also unquantifiable no wonder they are the first Africa country to host a FIFA world cup come 2010.
i want to say here that the apartheid era is today serving as a blessing to the south africans and africa as a whole but what do u think?

Politics › Re: Video Apparently Showing Hussein Wounds Emerges by chidichris(m): 2:40pm On Jan 25, 2007
i think discussing here is just a way of wasting or passing our time because for a man like saddam who has sent men and women to the gallow, i do not see anyone talking about human right with him.
can one be talking about torture to him that enjoys torture most. a man who had the heart to kill even his inlaw( husbands to his two daughters) wow wonders they say can never end.
we are sensing the presence of the Taliban in Nigeria and soon most of u who support the act will start reaping the fruit of their brutality.
in the case of a man like charles taylor, we all know his history and one of us will wake up tomorrow to tell us how he lost his apetite for any torture on him-too too funny.
i wonder what happened when saddam's half brother was shown with his head off. i hope u all saw that and i expect someone to say he lost his sight.
if we feel bad, why are we always calling on God to intervene. we were all rejoicing on the annoucement of Abacha's death why won't we all be happy that such people will all be eliminated from the surface of the earth through any possible means.
i hope the human right groups are warming up against the capture of osama the killer
Sports › Re: Plz Help Mikel Obi 's Career by chidichris(m): 2:22pm On Jan 25, 2007
some posts are not worthy to answer because if u read them u wonder if the writers are footballers or even fans at all.
in which area is mikel playing and in which area is kalou playing.
how come many of us who discuss football do not even know that eleven players in the pitch has different works to do in the pitch.
how many time do u see makalele go forward with the ball? do u know what is it means to be a holding midfielder and an attacking midfielder my dear mickyarams.
well, the most important thing here is that mikel has played in the last nine matches except one.
i respect the guy's ability and influence.
he is good and other negativities could be born out of jealousy and envy.
Politics › Re: INEC Machines Found In Adedibu's House by chidichris(op): 1:21pm On Jan 25, 2007
am really surprised at some responses here.
obj is inec, inec is pdp and pdp is malpractices at low and high places.
there is no judiciary in nigeria.
the case of obi anambra state was settled in the court saying obi should go back to seat but obj told him to wait. ojukwu was stopped at mm airport while obj was outside the country and everybody had to wait till obj gave orders to let him go.
we are having a man government and now he is working towards leading pdp after his tenure and then with the new law he will have powers over every other person in nigeria.
Adedibu had in the past coursed more serious problems than having inec machines in his house and nothing was done because he is protecting the interest of obj who himself is pdp.
he says who will context and who will not. he orders people to resign and to context so we are not expecting much out of this. pdp has room for master riggers as Chris Uba in the east and Adedibu is the south so they will remain untouchable.

everything i read here is all about calling names to the boy. is he the only nigerian player in the world.
why are we always out to rejoice in other peoples problems?
some call him disappointment, some call him idiot and some stupid, pls can you tell us what you are as a person.
in the bad days people are so fast and quick in reporting issues but when times are good, no one cares to say it out.
please for you all prophets of doom, have you stopped watching football now the young man has played in the past nine games except one. why is it that non of you have taken time to say mikel is back and better.
my prayer is that the boy gets to where God wants him and shame will befall all you prophets of doom.
who among you has taken time to congratulate the nigerian players who are doing very well in their various clubs.
if you do not know what mikel means, hear this; MIKEL IS A RICH KID, A GREAT FOOTBALL AMBASSADOR FROM NIGERIA, A YOUNG MAN WHO HAS WIN FOR HIMSELF AND NIGERIA SOME IMPORTANT MEDALS. THE LUCKY AND THE ONLY NIGERIAN PLAYER IN CHESEA. THEN LET US KNOW WHO U ARE AND WHAT YOU ARE KNOWN WITH.
i don't want to call anybody enemy of progress here.
Politics › Re: Reports Suggest Obj Blocked Okonjo-iweala As Un Vp. by chidichris(m): 9:25am On Jan 23, 2007
thisday newspaper of 19th january reported this issue quoting an australian based newspaper(theaustralian.news.com.au).
in every democratic setting, oposition is recognised. from political science one will know and confirm that the oposition acts as a watch dog on the ruling party.
it is not only in nigeria, it is there in the usa and that is why power keeps on changing from one party to the other.
if we are coming to judge obasanjo, we will use a report sheet which will cover every aspect of the country and one will be sure to mark him down if he scores anything below 40%.
we have different sectors like banking, security, infrastructures, petrolium, workers affairs, corruptions, organisations of elections, freedom of oposition and press, sports just to mention but a few.
if one judges badsed on the few outlined headings, where will the administration be. how many illegal impeachments? how many judicairy orders have been adhered to?
it takes nothing for one to believe that Okonjo Iweala was favoured by many and the shock annoucement of the tanzanian woman forced people to ggo into search of reasons.
it is obvious here that, things are not well between iweala and obj and this is clear from how she was changed from the finance minister and the unannouced detronement from the leader of the economic/reforms team.
if we all agree that she was doing well in the finance ministry, why then the change? who changes winning team? will it be funny if one says that obj wanted more in the sector that he decided to look for a better candidate for the position.
Iweala, was recommended to OBj bby Atiku when the going was good and it was said that Iweala in one of her trips to London did mention it that Atiku will surely continue with the reforms of Obj if elected president.
we are not too blind to know that if iweala wanted atiku to succeed obj, it means she did not surport the third term agenda and has to pay like others.
to avoid the nigerian context here and our much hatred for our saviour obasanjo let us contact foriegn news medias on the selection of the last UN vp.
he is a saint and that is while he is parading secred cows at diffeerent levels in the name of political godfathers or the untouchable pdp member and is good that inec machines are beging to exist in private houses.
Politics › INEC Machines Found In Adedibu's House by chidichris(op): 8:51am On Jan 23, 2007
two inec machines were found in Dr. S. Balogun and other six were found in Chief Lamidi Adedibu within 24hours.
all working for Akala the deputy governor of Oyo state who is also the PDP gubernitorial candidate.
is this the new PDP?
is INEC working with PDP?
what is the credibility of INEC in the forthcoming elections?
what is OBJ going to do about this?
Adedibu has been on the negative part of the newspapers on daily bases yet he remains untouchable. is he going to remain untoucable this time?
Politics › Re: Reports Suggest Obj Blocked Okonjo-iweala As Un Vp. by chidichris(m): 12:52pm On Jan 20, 2007
according to thisday january 19 as was reported by an Australian newspaper(theaustralian.news.com.au) Obasanjo's refusal to give his signatory at the dying minutes forced the new secretary general to go for the next available option.

the new sec. gen promised to make an african woman his no 2 and Okonjo Iweala was the favourite but time was running out as the wait for the presidency's approval continues hence the option b which sees the less experienced Tanzanian woman as a replacement.

why will obj do such a thing? third term? or, ?

it was reported that it was as a result of accident.
who is here to complain again.

they that lived the brutal lives as if they knew tomorrow have died is the same brutality.
it is my wish that all that kill others be killed in the same manner at least tyrants will have their lessson to learn.
Sports › Re: Plz Help Mikel Obi 's Career by chidichris(m): 11:55pm On Jan 15, 2007
Ezeking, am really surprise with ur writeup. every coach is in interested in results and not the players welfare.
do u ask urself how much money even the smallest clubs spend and do u expect them to look at people's face?
listen, make out time and visit the websites of all the clubs u know, find out from the sites, the lists of their first team players and u will begin to appreciate the fact that chelsea has one of the lowest numbers of players.
a team like arsenal has more numbers of players than the much talk about chelsea.
let us back our views with facts, every club has many players but u must understand that no matter where u are, when your time comes, u will shine.
look at a player like luis saha of man u. he was warming the bench when nesteroy was fergie's favourite but today, he is a key player.
it is not always the issue of playing constant football but where u play matters a lot otherwise why would a nigerian player travel all the way from nigeria to england to play when he can play a first team football with iwuanyawu enyimba.
the boy has a future in chelsea and to God be the glory that he is there. nigerians should give the young man chance to concentrate. if we have his interest at heart, we should be praying for him.
if u are a real sports man, watch the man without centiments and see how relaxed he is whenever he is with the ball. watch kalou whenever he is with the ball, he is always shaking and panicing. kalou is a striker and had scored but one goal and mikel who plays from the midfield has scored one gaol also despite the fact that kalou has got more time on pitch more than him.
kalou is in no way getting the kind of preasure nigerians are giving mikel.
i want one person in this forum who will choose to play in man u for four million pounds agaisnt the sisteen million that chelsea paid. if only one person will raise his hand then i will be back to say more but if no one will be ready to do so, why the blames.
we do see football as entertainment, but the club owners, the managers and the players sees it as business and that is why they are professional footballers.
beckham of all people, is on his way to the usa, why---------- money. so who is mikel not to play for money. mikel is a not a working with any charitable home as to play for man u or anyother club at his youthfull age only to be dumped like okocha was when age knocks so let him be a wise man and make the mega money while he is young.

Politics › Re: 24 Hours Electricity In Rivers State? by chidichris(m): 9:58am On Jan 15, 2007
chidexy, i like ur position on this issue but i would want u to not only look at electricity as a problem but also as a basic facility.
if the government at all levels fails to provide electricity, pipeborne waters, good roads and security, then the system is a failed one.
the issue here is not only supply because individuals can arrange for generators but at what cost are we getting these supplies?
us and other rich countries of the world are all owning so why will it be our first interest to pay up our debts.
is it out interest to convience the world that we are comfortable and do not need funds from world banks and other international finacial institutions.
we need the need funds to provide the citizenry with the basic facilities and good environment for the development of the country.
we are a great nation but trip to other developed countries of the world will make u understand that we are far backward.
the money belongs to the country and should be used for the betterment of the country.
why will obj be commmissioning unconfirmed projects. this amounts to deciet on the side of the president to the public.
he is a total failure and the governors will always divert the state's funds and turn back to incite voilence on the side of the militants with nobody asking the governors the where about of the state allocations which come on monthly basis.
they are all into the games and the name of the game is cover up.
Politics › Re: President Olusegun Obasanjos Score Card. How Has He Performed? by chidichris(m): 9:41am On Jan 15, 2007
the author of this topic fails to make his own rating of the obj led administration.
all the same, we have seen for the first time since 1999 a president who is as well the petrolium minister till last week.
we have seen an administration which instead of giving official recognition to oposition choose to recognise political godfathers at different levels and we can simple call these godfathers modern or renowed thugs.
we have witness an administration with a record rate of insecurity.
we have witnessed an administration which makes room for the roads to be at its worsts.
we have witnessed a political session with a record abnormality in the manner of impeachments and arrests.
we have witnessed a society where oposition is a culprit and will be expecting efcc any moment.
we have seen an administration with a lot of recognised secred cows and above the laws.
we meet an obasanjo who is more interested in the country's foregn image that the needs of the citizens.
a man interested in paying up debts while the masses are lacking all the basic infrastructures.
we have seen a man who spent most of the country's resources in securing and amending the constitution of the country to suit his third term agenda.
we have seen a president who took it upon himself to see that his vice does not become president come 2007 and that non of his opositions become one.
we saw in him a president who changes a winning team when he skillfully sacked Okonjo Iweala.
we saw in him a president who was ready to keep ministers even when they are not doing well as was in the case of Borishade from education to aviation and to culture.
we saw an administration more idealistic than realistic. an administration that is about forcing a candidate on nigerians by a way of forcing other candidates to resign or disqualification.
a president, who comes back to correct his first mistake as a head of state and who if will be well rated will be one of the richest men in the world by the time he is done with nigeria.

i have been watching the english league for sometime now and i have never seen season like this for the for the African players and nigerians in particular.

Victor Anichebe and Joseph Yobo are terrors on picth front and back lines for everton, kanu is the man to watch whenever portsmouth is playing, Marins is the man of the moment at newcastle especially with his much talk about goal of the season so far in the match against tothenham, mikel always show skills whenever murinho calls on him, agbonlaho is a regular and constant worry for oponents whenever it is aston villa, yakubu is a sad news to all oponents of middlesbrow, shittu is blocks well so is such an important figour in watford.

i think with the classy players, epl is making the work of any national coach less. even me, i can now choose the first eleven.

it is really a thing of joy that we are really up again or what do u think?
Sports › Re: Plz Help Mikel Obi 's Career by chidichris(m): 8:17am On Jan 15, 2007
wow, nigerians, mikel was in for 12 minutes and made his mark in the last match against wigan. he was the man with the magic pull out that saw drogba fulfilled in the match that he was found lacking in his scoring manners.
why are we overlooking a boy that caused war between the two biggest teams and two biggest managers in england or are we saying the two managers are bias about his abilities.
all the same, i believe his time will come but the most unfortunate thing is that nobody will be ready to confess when that happens.
the boy is goodoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. in fact i am happy with all nigerians in the epl as each of them is proving some good points when ever they get the opportunity.

to u all that lost appetite after watching the video of sadam's hanging, pls continue that way and save the foods for others who have apetite.
fortunately for me, i watch a movie called flight 93 or unted 93 before the hanging incident so i just took the hanging as one kind of normal nigeria movie.
for those of u protesting the hanging, i hope u have arranged your protest materials against the hanging of osama bin laden any day anytime.
i am quiet sure that many of you see osama as their role model too so the earlier u start protesting his killing the better because he will surely be caugth one day.

the Bible says; those who live by sword die by sword.
the man who knows how to kill has been killed.
if a man who killed the husbands of her two daughter simply because they condem his administration does not deserve death, then i do not know who deserve death.
Mr. afam, u said that iran president is your role model and u are here to condem the killing of sadam which the iranian president comended.
without consulting any dictionary or any writeup at all, we can always name them (tyrants) one after the other. a man whose two sons were more dangerious as they occupied positions and were reprtesenting very well the saying; like father like son(s).
that should be a warning to all tyrants and intending tyrants to thread with caution.
