Politics › Re: Is President Obasanjo A Failure? by chidichris(m): 8:22am On Dec 11, 2006
alarinka,
what do u mean holdinga vast nigeria together. do u know the population of usa India and china. nigeria is just a state in the above three.
by the way, is it a force that he rule nigeria? is he complaining? is he not interested in a third term as well as a life president project?
how together has he hold nigeria? is politically where political killings is the order of the day without any trace of killers. is economically when the prices of things are star rocketing on daily bases and the standard of living is going down with all the basic armenities out of place. or are u talking about the security system which one can comfortably say it is the worst since the inception of the country nigeria with armed robbers operating without fears.
are u talking about corruption? all u have to do is blow his trumphet and all ur sins will be forgiven. the world best man ribadu is handicapped and forced to a selective justice because the likes of the ubas, anninehs and bodes, ibb, atikus and objs etc are secred cows too secred to be questioned.
call this administration a failure to me is an understatement. by the way, he is the only elected president of nigerian that has served without interuption for such a long period of time. are u saying electricity and water supply to nigerians are surposed to take a million years.
talking about a normal person who decied to use obj as his or her id, am afraid something is wrong somewhere. the obj as a president talks anyhow and insult people at will so it will not be surprising he is the same here.
Politics › Re: We Need A European Leader To Fix Nigeria? by chidichris(m): 8:08am On Dec 11, 2006
Paddy lo,
i like u at least despite ur abuses, u were able to make some points.
will i be right if i call u a hypocrite? will u be in america and and still tell people back home that nigeria's time will come? how and when is this time u are talking about? who will be responsible for these changes we are all yielling for?
why can't u be there in nigeria and change things or at least u contribute ur own quota? u were born in the eastern pert of nigeria and u consider it wise for ur family to sale off their belongings to make sure u travelled to the us for greener pastures yet u are advising us the mugus to seat back home in nigeria and die waiting for the changes that never come.
americans and europeans are bleeped yet ur nigerian parents were held to ransome to see that u travel or ur make their living a nigthmare.
well, my dear wise man tell that to the hills.
i will be happy with u if u decide to go back to ur root and enjoy the benefits of being a nigerian and not throwing stones from such a distance. ur type will be shouting we no go gree and be running away from the war zone only to decieve embeciles who will die unnecessary death.
when was the last time u went to naija and be frank that u are not nursing the feelings to marry a white lady.
u were parochial in ur judgement of history. u refused to mention the advantages of their coming. you can only compare and contrast to get a justified result.
we are saying here that our so called leaders have made the whole country a horrible place with lack of security for lives and properties, with all the basic infrastructure lacking in the presence of almost all the natural resources.
we are saying that our laeders have decided to channel all our resources to the development of the western worlds instead of developing our countries. we are saying that the same names keep on coming back in our political histories. we are saying that poor gets poorer while the rich gets richer everyday. we are talking about secred cows in our midst. we are condeming the level of sufferings for our students especially in the eastern part of the country who will end up without jobs. we are condeming a society where graduates are gatement while illitrates work in important places. we are agaisnt society were many go to bed hungry while wise men like u in the united states help leaders top smuggle millions out of nigeria into the us.
all we are saying is that the rulling cader have failed us woefully and we need a change no matter where it is coming from.
were u not in america when schwerziniger was choosen as a radical change because the learned men failed in the state and that is exactly what we need.
if u believe that nigeria will just change overnight, my prayer is that u will not continue to be a hypocrite so let the next flight have u so that u will be a party to the sufferings.
please let all who believe in nigeria go back and be part of it.
if u continue to be in the us and singing the praises of our country, then permit me to call u a deciet.

in 1999 and 2003 it was godfathers, this time it is annointed candidates.
who are these annointed candidates?
what are their mission?
how far have they gone and how far will they go?
are we going to experience SELECTION come 2007 instead of election?
what is our faith and hope in the hands of inec, pdp and ribadu?
are we about to expereince the worst election in the history of nigeria?
Sports › Re: Help! Im A Football Addict But Have Found Myself In The Banking Industry by chidichris(m): 11:01am On Dec 10, 2006
u can send massages to the bank and its top management board by going to work in sport atire and holding ur football always. keep a nice football on ur table.
always have ur wisthle in ur mouth.
make sure u go to work with a red and yellow card. be ready to flash a card to a co-worker or a costumer either red or yellow depending on the weight of his or her offence.
by so doing, the bank and everyother person will know that u have an ambition to pursue football.
but remember, if u are not playing, work is very difficult to find in nigeria and a million and one persons are out there waiting so if u quit, coming back might be a problem.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: The Fall Of Chelsea by chidichris(m): 10:37am On Dec 10, 2006
Christino,
your posting this time is such a humble one that it indicates ur interest to learn.
if u are talking football, it is a very different thing from talking football clubs.
i would want to let u into the pictures of the clubs. apart from football trophies, clubs have many more businesses from where they make up.
do not ever go thinking that because madrid did not win any trophy in ten years, it will make them poor.
there are a lot of differences between a club buying the likes of Emmanuel Ebue who is ready to play off his heart in the pitch and a club buying beckham who is not ready to struggle for football.
they have their different values.
the clubs make a lot of money from the big names and that is while big names are mostly in big clubs.
madrid despite their inabilities to get throphies for about three seasons now, they are still fucking rich.
you as a fan has interests in winning matches and trophies while the club owners have their eyes on the end product which is cash. they are investors and all they need is gain.
arsenal won the epl two times in a row with man u lacking, does that make them richer than man u.
endorsements from big companies goes to big names and big names are only found in big clubs. watch out, in the epl, there clubs called the big four( man u, chelsea, liverpool and arsenal) and that is where u find the big names in english league.
so if any player plays well in anyother club outside the big four, there is always the tendecy that the big four will go knocking and asking for his signature.
another thing u have to understand here is that in every club, the managment is always different from the ownership and do not fail to understand that chelsea in not the only club in epl owned by an individual, man u in involved, west ham is involved and watch out within the next two years most of the other clubs will follow suit.
so whatever we are thinking of chelsea might as well happen to anyother club. by the way, i was an arsenal fan last year and a chelsea fan now why do u think i will not change if things begin to happen in another club.
i am neither part of the management nor part of the ownership, my stake there is happiness which i can always look for and get in anyother winning team.

Sports › Re: Plz Help Mikel Obi 's Career by chidichris(m): 10:34am On Dec 09, 2006
Dammy,
i kept quiet bcs what u were talking was not football but something else.
how many yrs in chelsea has he been? why are we always in haste to write somebody off?
what guarranttee do u have that mikel will be the captain of the other clubs that you have so far mentioned?
how many players of his age that have come into new clubs and start getting regular shirt?
why do we always have to rejoice in other ( our people's) people's pains?
if u are truelly a football fan, why don't u look at such players like Luis Saha(man U), Gabriel Agbonlahor(aston Villa) Fridrik Ljunberg( Arsenal) Lionel Messi( Barca), just to mention but a few, they all have to wait on the bench till their time come. what about Emmenuel Eboue( Arsenal) Fabragas( arsenal) Gilberto Silva(arsenal) they all had to wait.
Theo Walcot was on the bench throughout last season and is still coming off bench yet he believes he is good and will definitely get his opportunity. why won't mikel wait. he choosed chelsea among other clubs and he believes he can work his way into the team and the manager believes in him so who are u not to believe that our much talked about prodigy will get his time?
what are ur bases for using such word as doom for him? will he lack if he comes back home from where he is at the moment?
he feels chelsea is the best thing that has happened to him and u feel otherwise. are here to tell us that u like mikel more than he likes himself - my dear be reasonable and realistic when posting topics on public sites and get urself equiped with points and be ready to quote ur sources not i hear say.
for God's sake we are all exposed and follow our interests to the last letter.
did u ever watch him play in the club, kalou was the best player in holland last season yet he is still waiting there in chelsea, wright philips has been waiting. by the way, what will happen if he later get the opportunity he is waiting for.
kanu Nwaknow is rated as the best player so far in nigeria is just for the fact that he has been playing in good clubs.
why don't u ask urself what happened to okocha after all his displays in football.
it is my advise that nigerian footballers should emulate that footsteps of Kanu and always aim high.
please must u continue with this unnecessary aruguement, u have to go and source for information and reffer me to issues and points and only then i will believe u are talking football.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: The Fall Of Chelsea by chidichris(m): 10:10am On Dec 09, 2006
Christino, where will u be when abromovic will die?
we are discussing chelsea now because they have become so important since the Billionaire's intervention as i am sure nobody was interested in them when they were relegation candidate.
all the same, a journey of 1000 km begins with a step.
having old and experience players in chelsea attracts criticisms and buying young players even attract more criticisms so what is the solution here?
with the emergence of the new chelsea, man u and west ham emulated the good move and u see man u doing well and i give that to the take over. west ham is beginning to breath again so that is bringing life into EPL and it is becoming the best at the moment and i bet u if things continue this way in the next five years every good player will work his ways to EPL.
for now, na chelsea i know

talking about bmw as problem cars will be accepted iif you are talking about old models bmw.
bmw is trying to make all functions available in their cars but mercedez with less functions will always be more expensive so there is still that belief that there are still only two cars in the world i.e mercedez and others,

u see our problems are still within us. if people like otokx exist in this forum and is proud to identify with odili then think of giving him a political position.
if Odili is not reading and intyerpreting the scripts of the almighty obj, how can such person be bold to tell us to vote him in as president.
if he could not make any difference in rivers where the revenues flows like rivers, give him america nothing will happen.

Politics › Re: Peoples Destruction Party Plc by chidichris(m): 10:38am On Dec 04, 2006
nnamani is now a senatorial candidate and since he belong to the peoples destruction party, he is sure to win which means from immunity to immunity. what a wonderful Ribadu?
let us see them interprete the script of the almighty obj.
pdp wants governors to provide a candidate which means obj will shield their sins and at the end of the day the new president will shield his own sins.
it is unfortunate that nigerian politicians are shameless. Odili is now making electricity his campaign base with the same promises obj made in 1999.
let whosoever promise us steady power supply fail election because they now know it is important so they are using it against us.
if odili wants electricity for the people why didn't he do it in his eight (cool years as a governor?
obj and co, in case i do not have time to say fairwell to u on the 29th of may come 2007, have it now;
you are a total disappointment as we did not enjoy the steady power supply which u promised us during ur campaign.
the roads are worst than u met them. the security system hit a record stage since the inception of nigeria. bribery and corruption which introduced a monitoring system that is selective in its system.
your so called henchmen, such as Tony Annenih, Bode George and the Ubas have grown from power to power and have remained a thorn in the country's flesh and to worsen it all they are this untouchable that any finger pointed against them will never raise to point again.
your administration is bent on turning honourable men and women into liars just to please ur majesty. history will not forget the warriors of ur administration whose showed up and disapear just to maintain their self dignity. our able Okonjo Iwuala was a hero of ur administration as she could not be poisioned by infectious administration.
her removal proved wrong the school of thought which believed that no one changes winning team-obj does.

is the international community equally preach of continous violence. what about unreadiness of the hamas to recognise isreal as a nation? what about iran's call for isreal to be wiped out of the map.
in the case of lebanon, the real situation is unfolding. hezbolah is about staging a peaceful rally aimed at bringing down the lebanese govenment and instale a hezbolah led government as was the case of palestine. the whole script was written by iran.
all these were mentioned by isreal in their presentations to un assembly.
whatever the case is palestine and lebanon must be aware that iran cannot love them more than they love themselves.
iran which has in the past refused to associate themselves with the arabs have find a way to manipulate the arabs instigating problems all over the arab world.

Damy, u are doomed not mikel.

be frank to yourself and tell us u wish him well.
nigerians rejoice in their brother's pains and sorrow.
he has a destiny with faith and God has been faithful with him.
if u wouldn't mind stop pittying him as his life is set for good.
my dear, a minute with chelsea is good enough to change ur life.
the guy is good and Murinho and ferguson must have seen something in him that have warranted them to fight for him.
remember, patrick viera, Henry, Ebou, Toure, and a host of other players started gradually like him. last season we did not see much of Agonlahor but this season, he is a the man to watch.
i so much believe in the man mikel so no need to panic. he will always deliver. he delivered in holland, he did in egypt what makes u think he will not deliver in chelsea.
to me the best that will happen to him is to play with the big names. why is messi playing in barca and we nigerians think mikel will not play in chelsea.

to me calling him a failure is an understatement.
his administration is non with impeachement, thugry, insecurity, ban this ban that and fraud in all sectors of the government.
if he is a typical yoruba man suicide is the only remedy which goes in line with the traditional yoruba administrative system.

he should have gone back to nursery school.
i know he will soon be re-recruited in the army so that he will have the oportunity to come back as a military president.

Sports › Re: No More Foregn Coach: Lulu by chidichris(op): 6:32am On Dec 01, 2006
Eguavon is the only coac that can manage a team that does not play any friendly from january to december. he is the only coach that can work for nine (9) months without salary. he is the only coach that will not care if any invited player honour the call or not. he is the only coach that will accept conditions from players. WHY? he sees the super eagles job as the only way out. for sure, no coach will work under this condition but what next for him if he quits.
he is the rubber stamp. he has been placed there to be used by the fat idiots in the nfa to achieve their aims since no foriegn coach will work under their conditions but he should be mearnt to understand that history will remember his carrear as a player during the us 94 and a coach under the present dispensensation as it relates to the downfall of nigeria football.
he shld be mearnt to understand that the coach bears the responsibilities when there is a failure as no one will remember the nfa and that is why the foriegn coaches will always resign whenever they sense foul play.

eguavon is not the problem, but local coaches. since we started using local coaches what have we archieved. look at it this way,u won a match but the juice of supper eagles is no longer there. nigeria has talents in football yet we could not go to world cup.
trace our winnings and look at them very well how many good teams have we meet. cote d'ivoire was a problem at nation's cup. niger that cannot stand the troubles eyimba gave us a war right there in abuja, lesotho that cannot stand street players in lagos was a difficult nut to crack. are we surposed to justify a 90 minutes encounter with a lone goal.
please seat back and watch super eagles of nowadays, u can only see individual football no team work. we need to show superiorities in the african football and we have the players who can do that at all levels but we lack technicalities.
even when our players win they know is not worth celebrating.
the introduction of politics into our football is taking us back despite the fifa ranking.

Jackal,
you are so parocial in your views that one wonders what you are upto.
you are saying drodga did not put a shot, sheva put two useless shots and essien was drafted to the right back because of his ineffectiveness and the rest yet you are saying if feggie and arsenal wenger get chelsea team they will win the league. are you saying the chelsea team is not good or the coach is not good.
remember, the transfer window will reopen by january so u have enough time to advise fergie and wenger where to make cahnges.
who will give them the team, they have to make choices. if jose is not good, he has the cup for the two seasons so far.
are u not aware that your so called fergie and wenger are into modern day slavary. are you aware that Toure was bought at 500,000 pounds while eboue was bought at 1.5million.
i hope you knew too well that mikel was signed 4million in the controversial deal but fergie was only ready to release him on 16million pounds.
what makes him think mikel is valued at 4 million today for him to buy and tomorrow 16 million for him to sale. they are the two slave masters in english league.
the last match was a good result for chelsea and for jose, he was wonderfull in his chnages. if u look at that game, Geremi was withdrawn and roben was introduced, that is reducing defence and encouraging more attacks on man u which yielded result and u could see man u on the defending side in the second half and that is a good coach at work.
sampe for jose- 4 he too sabi

Pride they say goes before a fall. we are always ready to say we can do it on our own but where have we reached with this pride.
if we talk about individual coaches should consider their standards. who is Eguavon to coach the eagles? if anyone of us takes his time to watch Chelsea, you dare not score an early goal against them. the coach will be ready to withdraw all his defenders and introduce all his attackers so that if they are loosing they will loose but the preasure will now be on the other side.
studying a match and knowning when to make changes and where the changes should be made not minding which player is playing there.
a look at the super eagle's previous games will show that no matter the winning, the super eagles that are known will classical and team work have lost all only displaying individual abilities.
our last match against losetho was not expected by any nigerian to end in 1-0 neither did we expect super eagles to win niger 2-0 strugling to win football minors so what will be the faith of the team when they meet the big sides.
foriegn coaches or white coaches have their ways of influencing football. take for instance, Domenech of france invited makalele but Mourinho refused, because he is a big coach, he was able to remind makalele and chelsea the rules and regulations guiding his failure to show up for international matches.
makalele was to miss two club matches for any invitation he fails to honour.
but what do we have back in nigeria, eguaavon on the pages of the dailies arguing with players.
the truth is what we have failed to accept. we are incapacitated and there nothing we can do about it at the moment. we need the coaches to take us to the promise land.
it is always difficult for eguavon to give orders to the players who are well convienced that they have achieved more than he did in football and maybe claiming to know more than the coach.

from the way things are going i am on the belief that murinho will go for more attackers this january and then it will be fight to finish.
chelsea were able to prove a point last night and for Jose he knows wat's up. his changes are fantastic. beating him is always a tug of war. u must pay dearly whenever u beat jose and the worst thing u can try during is scoring him early in the game as he wouldn't mind playing only one deffender with the other nine players in front. well, i really understand the real situation of most anti chelsea fans. it is really unfortunate that none of u can chnage the situation and it is most important to always accept situations especially when we cannot change them.
it will be important for us to understand that even if we wake up tomorrow to see that chelsea is no more, history will never forget their short existance under the ownership of the russian billonaire.
life is all about how well and not how far.
what are we saying about a dying club springing up from no where to take the epl cup two consercutive times just because of the presence of abromovic and jose. isn't that worth celebrating?
the men have made their impact in the league and have really changed the game for good as every club now know how to live up to expectations.
the new chelsea has really made EPL a new ball game. we can say well done to them ( Murinho and abromovic)
