Jokes Etc › Re: your phone number by creepy math by ChidiO2(m): 10:35pm On Aug 04, 2007 |
Alright, here's the math behind it. (I had nothing else better to do no? ) Say your # is 466-2346. Let x = 466 (first three digits) Let y = 2346 (last 4 digits) Now following the steps: 1. use a calculator 2. Key in the first three digits of your phone number (NOT the area code) 3. Multiply by 80 4. Add 1 5. Multiply by 250 6. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number 7. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number again 8. Subtract 250 9. Divide number by 2 [250(80x + 1) + y + y - 250] / 2 [20000x + 250 + y + y - 250] / 2 20000x / 2 = 10000x and 250 - 250 = 0 / 2 = 0 and 2y / 2 = ythen you have: 10000x + ySo now the steps have been simplified, plug in the numbers and voila! 10000(466) + 2346= 4660000 + 2346 = 4662346 |

Romance › Re: My Friend And His Girlfriends "palava" In My House by ChidiO2(m): 5:24pm On Aug 04, 2007 |
Nicklee: My story is pretty short.
Back then, while I was an undergraduate in UNILAG, I had a girlfriend I knew I liked a lot and would do anything for her. I was from an average Nigerian family, but did so much to really make her happy. She appeared to love me too.
However, while I was on Industrial training (IT), she got toasted by a Med Student on housemanship in a clinic close to her school. Ofcourse, comparatively at that point, I was no where close to the dude, since I was just a 4th yr Eng student who apparently had more years to get his acts together. So, She jelled, and was kind enough to tell me about it and how she was sorry and all the story story.
Ok, I felt hurt, angry and stupid, but I let it go and went back to school to face my books. With all modesty, I made a first class and am now in one of the best universities in the US for my graduate studies, but alas, since then this girl has been begging seriously and sincerely to get back to my life. I understand the alliance with the MD guy didn't last because of fundamental differences, and now she's on me like I owe anything.
I loved her, but I feel am done with her and need to move on with my life, she sends emails, emissaries, calls, and keeps pleading on how sorry she is and all the stuff about forgiveness, falling and rising, etc.
Please whatya'all think about this, ? Hahaha. It's like you don't even care about the person who started this thread's problem. "ramming" in. |
Romance › Re: Why are girls so eager for money? by ChidiO2(m): 5:01pm On Aug 04, 2007 |
Obviously not all girls are like this. Now there are those who are solely after the money and those who are not just after the money but would like to have their man to be somewhat financially stable, if not in the process of being so and there's nothing wrong with that.
The ones who are only after the money, well you've got a good explanation of them by Bulga. |

PTBNaija: Because for me, sometimes your parents know what is best. My parents have never steered me wrong, I can't say the same for everyone. But I highly value the opinion of my parents. Sometimes they might know somethings or have foresight that I don't because they have been there or may know people who are/have been in similar situations. It could be so possible that someone could be so "blinded by love" that they miss important things that they need to take note of. And then that's when your parents come in and say "I told you so" or "didn't I say it." I agree. The things that people do for love is incredible these days. Though their are situations where you don't really need parental advice. |

As many as it takes her to realize that she can't be on and off with guys the rest of her life. Or until she finds the right guy. Hopefully not just mess around. And yes the fewer the better. Rather have less break-ups then more. |
