As a blogger understand your audience and trends,.... Anything that carries Abba Kyari as it's headline will make front-page...

On the current issue on ground, It's left for Buhari, he has a choice.... save Abba Kyari from extradition inorder to secure national secret getting into the hands of a third party(USA) which will cause Nigeria loosing any form of assistance from US or handing Abba Kyari over to FBI and save the nation from further public embarrassment.

I trust US government when it comes to issue such as this, they are aware of what Nigeria's government response will be when they finally request for the Super cop....they have plan B which Nigeria government doesn't know....

Abba Kyari will wake up in Heathrow airport USA soon.... just like how Nnamdi Kanu woke up and found himself in Nigeria.

No one will know how ABBA KYARI got there. I trust God's own country (USA)

Which national secret..

Abba kyari is just a police man.

He is not in the NSA, SSS..

Make una stop to dey over hype dis fraud

Politics / Re: Nnamdi Kanu: IPOB Declares Sit-At-Home Every Monday - Governors, Police Kick by chiefobdk(m): 5:47am On Jul 31, 2021
nairalandankrah:
police commands in the South-East have kicked against an order by the Indigenous People of Biafra declaring every Monday a sit-at-home day from August 9 until its leader Nnamdi Kanu is released from the detention of the Department of State Services.

But, The police and state governments has asked the people to go about their business, assuring them of safety, stating that they would not condone any act of intimidation from IPOB, Nigeria's proscribed terrorist group.

Kanu, who was abducted in June in Kenya and extradited to Nigeria, is facing a treasonable felony offence.

During a resumed hearing of his case at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday, his matter was adjourned till October 21 following the failure of the DSS to produce him in court.

IPOB, in a statement by the group’s Media and Public Secretary, Emma Powerful, on Friday, said, “We the global family of the Indigenous People of Biafra wish to announce to all Biafra citizens, friends of Biafra and lovers of Biafra freedom and independence that IPOB leadership has declared every Monday ‘a ghost Monday.’

“This declaration takes effect from Monday, August 9, 2021. From that day, Biafra land will be on lockdown every Monday from 6am to 6pm until our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who was unlawfully abducted in Kenya and illegally detained by the Federal Government of Nigeria, is released

“DSS should know that if anything untoward happens to him, we are going to confirm what IPOB is made of and they will understand that we are prepared for this freedom. Our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, is not a criminal and has the right to be visited in custody.

“We declare every Monday a sit-at-home day throughout Biafra land until our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu regains his freedom. The Federal Government must allow him access to his personal physicians, and allow him to sign documents given to him by the British Government to provide him consular assistance. This peaceful protest will continue once every week until our demands are met.”

The group added, “Consequently, all institutions (public and private), transport companies, schools, banks, markets, airports and seaports in Biafra land must shut down every Monday beginning from August 9. People are to remain indoors to register their concern over the fate of our leader and the rest of all agitators languishing in various security detentions.”

However, The police through its spokesman, said any attempt by IPOB to enforce the order would be met with fierce resistance, stressing that nobody has the right to infringe on another’s fundamental human rights.

Commissioner of Police, in a telephone interview with one of our correspondents, said, “We will resist such a move by IPOB.”
“This is one threat too many. It can’t work here. We will make sure it doesn’t hold.

“We have put serious and adequate security measures in place to ensure that this can’t happen. People should go about their lawful business from that day because nobody has the right to infringe on another’s rights.”

APC will not have a candidate for Anambra election today the supreme Court pronounced APC is illegal as a party for having a sitting governor as the party chairman.. Means they can't present candidates for elections..

Press Conference
S/Court Ruling: APC Now Invalid, Carries Burden of “Let Buyer Beware” -PDP
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) alerts Nigerians and the international community that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has become technically invalidated and now lacks the statutory structure to operate as a political party in our country.
This is given the pronouncement of the Supreme Court which clearly pointed to the nullity of APC’s subsistence and activities as a political party, for having a sitting governor, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe state, as its Chairman, in total violation of section 183 of the 1999 Constitution (as amended) as well as the provisions of Article 17(4) of the APC constitution.
A further interpretation of the pronouncement of the Supreme Court showed that all activities of the APC under Mai Mala Buni, including nomination of candidates for elections, agreements, official decision reached, establishment of committees for statutory activities as well as its planned ward, local government and states congresses now hang loosely on the threat of invalidity.
The fate of the APC as a defunct party is already sealed and the party cannot come out of this self-inflicted quagmire even if it engages in the drama of appointing a new National Chairman in place of Mai Mala Buni.
This is because the APC has become statutorily vacuous, without a valid National Working Committee, without a valid National Executive Committee (NEC) and without a valid Board of Trustees (BoT) to legally initiate or carry out any official function including convoking any platform for the administration of the party. It is end of the road for the APC.
In this regard, the PDP counsels all aspirants for the planned APC ward, local government and state congresses as well as the national convention to note that the APC is now in a state of “let the buyer beware”.
Such intending aspirants should be cautious of putting their precious time and resources in a damaged vehicle that has come to the end of an ill-fated journey.
In the same vein, those hoping to use the APC as a vehicle to realize their ambitions as President, governor, federal and state legislators as well as other elective offices should note the fate that has befallen the party.
Moreover, our party sympathizes with the APC governorship candidate in the coming Anambra governorship election over the misfortune of trying to journey in a political “one chance bus”.
The PDP calls on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), state electoral commissions, the Judiciary, the National Assembly as well as other institutions of democracy in Nigeria to note this development and take appropriate actions.
The fate that has befallen the APC is the direct consequence of its recourse to impunity, corruption, malpractices, recklessness, disregard to rule of law and total absence of internal democracy.
On our part, the PDP, as a bastion of democracy in Nigeria remains committed to our ideology and vision of our founding fathers and will continue to rally with Nigerians in the collective quest to rescue our dear nation from the misrule and stranglehold of the now crippled APC.

How do I explain this to you? Google map gives you time based on the speed that it is receiving from your GPS. That's why you need to do the maths to get the real time. The engineers at Google are assuming that you at least know primary six arithmetic; that why they added the distance so you can do your own small calculations. That way you can use your actual speed to get the real time, instead of taking decision based only on the GPS time provided by google.

Are u sure u re alright..

Which maths will make 25km nearer than 23km..

festacman:

There is nothing wonderful about Peter Obi's performance in Anambra. Yes, he tried in meeting millennium goals and of course improved on road infrastructure, which Chris Nigige started but that didn't leave Anambra State anything near a developed state. And you can't tell me that Peter Obi didn't touch Anambra State's money as well as rode on his official position to secure lucrative shareholding deals with MNCs. Look, no matter how you paint Gov. Obiano black, his name will be forever engraved on that airport, ICC Awka and other infrastructure that drives the image and economy of a state.

And don't even touch Prof Charles Soludo the first class economist that became world acclaimed economist. Recall he thoughtfully gave African leaders reasons why they should halt Covid-19 lockdown immediately to save their economies and they adopted his idea without argument. His opinion is trusted that much. Peter Obi is a shrewd trader but Prof. Soludo Is an intellectual and a development expert. Don't play with him. He is a premium asset.

Development expert on paper...

Peter Obi is a realist. Sane People will rate Peter Obi above Soludo... Yes Soludo was a paper professor who had no business never done any business until he was made the CBN governor.. When he left he still didn't do any business.. Soludo was excellent as CBN governor but that's it..
Peter Obi on the other hand is a realist who has been there said it and done it. He own many successful businesses that comes with a price experience.. That is why when he talks. You know he is doing so from the practical point of life..
