Obiano has uplifted Awka from what it was in the Peter Obi era. The city looks much more presentable now. Land in Awka is even more expensive than in Enugu at the moment. Then the issue of Nnewi rests with Nnewi people themselves. The town developed from a village into an urban settlement with that same village mindset. Do not underestimate the parochial nature of the average Nnewi indigene o! this narrow-mindedness is the reason why it is so difficult to start any development project there, besides the town center is so jampacked and densely populated that its going to be near impossible to relocate any market or park. I think a more cost effective approach to modernizing the town is tighter supervision and enforcement of town planning and traffic regulations. Shops have to restrict wares display within the shops, no extension of shop shades and shelters onto the road, eliminate street trading, expand key roads and junctions...............the idea of massive demolitions and relocation may not work. I wonder what the old site of unizik teaching hospital will be used for when they move to the perm site in Umudim Nnewi? that's the only substantial space left within the town center.

Well, I use Infinix Hot 8. Bought it March 2020. Double camera. I am a heavy user, like my screen is on for more than 13 hours daily. I charge it only in the night when sleeping. The phone is fast. Quite fast. You don't expect me to use a slow phone though. The camera is superb. Quite strong phone. I only charge my phone with the follow come charger and no other charger ever since I bought. You made a solid point here, bro. And to be honest , I felt Nnewi has been abandoned for many years , but it's partly because Ndi Nnewi are more business inclined than politically inclined. There is no way Nnewi could not use their financial muscles to make Obiano to rearrange Nnewi and plan it to be more visitors friendly. Ndi Nnewi are more concerned about who get money pass who. That's their problem.

And this is what happens when you have a lot of money with little exposure. Also , there is a big divide between the Nnewi businessmen and the political/elite class.

I love the fact that we built an airport, needless to say I was not in support because I felt we had other pressing issues like pipe borne water, retraining primary and secondary school teachers to reach their best potentials. I felt like channeling these funds in upgrading our Teachers College to international standards, building trade schools( Carpentry , Iron works, Mechanics with license) , to keep upgrading our rural hospitals to full capacity. I wanted Obiano to plan the towns around Nnewi , Onicha , Awka , Ihiala and Aguleri/Umuleri so that when developments starts spilling into these towns they dont end up becoming a slums another slum like Okpoko. I wanted many things before this airport but the airport is here and I can't pull it down. My only choice is to keep hammering on the areas I felt we need urgent improvements. I want every areas and sectors to be touched and improved.

If i get u right. Nnewi people should use thr private money to develop the town while Obiano tax Nnewi to develop other places. Did this ur submission make sense?
