BAT should do the right things so as to truncate his ambition. You're just transferring your anger for the falling Nigerian economy to PO for no just cause.

People have a misconception about marriage and married people. Married people are not boyfriend and girlfriend obsessed with just sex.

Married people have deep conversations not just about emotions but about kids, future, money, hope and aspirations.

Married people have kids to raise, they are occupied with homework, housework and their professorial work.

You only get tired when all you do is think of sex and you peoples feelings. I expect that singles who grew up in a proper two family home would have studied their parents and have an idea of what marriage entails.

Any married person fed up of their partner did not marry for the right reasons. There is enough me time in marriage. That you are married doesn't mean you are tied to your partner by a string and you can't do and enjoy your own thing and time.

So as usual, one relatively young Peter Obi supporters came to ask me to become Obidient. He mentioned that PDP was the same with APC and we cannot vote both of them. He went on to say Atiku and Tinubu were too old and both don't mean well. The usual story. So I reminded him that he asked me to vote for Atiku in 2019, so I wanted to know what has changed. He went on the repeat the same things he started with and he mentioned Obi was the only one who could save Nigeria. So I asked three questions.

1. What if Atiku/Obi had won in 2019. Would he still be saying the same thing. So if Atiku/Obi ticket which he was pushing won in 2019, would he still be calling Atiku a thief and Obi a saint? His only response was that, we thank God that did not happen. So I asked him if he was wrong for pushing the Atiku/Obi ticket in 2019 and he had no answer.

2. I asked him if APC and PDP are that terrible, why should I vote for a man who has been in PDP for the past 7 years and only left a month ago. This same man was PDP vice presidential candidate when Atiku was sharing dollars in 2019 and he still wanted to be president under PDP up until one month ago when he realised he couldn't win. Again, he had no answer.

3. I asked him if Peter Obi miraculously won the election, and the NASS was controlled by APC or PDP. What does he think will happen next? It will be very clear Peter Obi wouldn't get anything done because he will have a very antagonistic NASS. Labour Party does not have candidates in 80% of the NASS positions and will barely get any senators or reps. So if the NASS is controlled by APC/PDP, then Peter Obi will either get impeached or join the APC./PDP. Labour Party has no structure, no representation, it is a one man show. Peter Obi will probably decamp again to PDP or else get impeached. Again he had no answer.

So he agreed to get back to me when he had the answers to these three questions. May be some Peter Obi supporters on Nairaland have answers to these three questions. Lets wait and see.

What about transfer of wealth within poor families and communities? Them no de una budget? This is why you have Forbes richest men but are still the country's poorest people. For you transfer of wealth is that of rich families, dollars and pounds, leaving millions of northerners to die of poverty. You need to learn from the igbos.

To bring out people from poverty, you need to show them the way. You don't necessarily need to be a big billionaire to do that. You simply bring in someone inexperienced to learn how to survive. By so doing,a large amount of trained youths are brought into the labour market. That's how to help your brother. Not by giving him government appointment. Not by dashing him money. But by teaching him your business.
Let me use obi cubana for example. When he started his own business,he had boys like cubana cheif priest and many others watching him. He wasn't a millionaire then. But they grew. Now they are so wealthy together. They wouldn't have become what they are if obi cubana dashed them money or gives the a government job. Do you understand now?

One of my colleague just asked me about this today notifying me that he saw that we Nigerians embarked on a rally because of Donald Trump and he was very disappointed because he said how could we support someone that the African Americans never wanted coz of how they are being treated under him.

The funniest thing is that my colleague joined us here to protest the EndSARS together at the Nigerian embassy in Atlanta in solidarity coz he said we are both witnessing the same kind of police brutality under our respective government.

I had to sit him down and told him Nigeria got some crazy folks that are delusional because they thought Trump would grant them a new country and that he shouldn’t be disappointed due to the few stupidity of some of us.
