emmanuelewumi: No, probably at 14% yield Would love to add the bond to my portfolio of small investments but the average African man in me is scared of uncertainty over the 10yrs or any duration I pick. Please would love your response on the following questions 1. Using the 10M at 14% as a case study, from above responses, I should get interest twice a year at 700k*2. When does capital come back in 2. If probably before the 10 yrs duration I get a hunch to stop, can I liquidate 3. Can I re-invest interest (I believe that's compounding) |

Tobex4realTobex234: Why will anyone invest their life savings in crypto or even any investment of similar risks whatsoever? Always diversify!! As crypto wounded me today, I checked my eurobonds, mutual funds and stocks to confirm that my overall portfolio didn't receive any hit.
I don't have more than 20% of my total investment in crypto. And 10% of this is in stable coins. Is there a thread on Nl for eurobond. I'm seeking to invest into it but have limited knowledge of it |

cucumbar: I think Stanbic is about 2.7%-2.8%. They used to have one of the best rates in the past o. Fbn quest is about 2.3%-2.5%. Stanbic and fbn used to be amongst the best but their rates has been extremely poor. Grateful that TB is already coming up |

What an exhaustive read. Thanks to 3strikes and Brabus for sheathing their swords. Now we as silent readers can resume our learning experience. @davodyguy, while China route might be a bit cheaper, you can still get same from others around 4-5k (Forget jumia price). Although buying yourself for personal builds helps cut cost. Below is a pic of the 900w street lights I ordered couple of months (Twinskenny help fix them up) back when some sellers close by were charging high. I ordered 2 pieces and the ba3 life is superb. Hoping to light up my street with about 15 of them

segzyfunmi: Good evening to everyone.
Pls I need a quick professional response on my matter.
My uncle wants to start his project in Abeokuta on Monday. His site has been cleared and foundation is to commence on Monday. He just funded his daughter's wedding last Saturday so he's not too boxed up, but he still insist on starting with one loose fund of #2.5million.
The problem is the engineer in charge is insisting on 3Million as indicated on the BOQ prepared by him, then an additional 5% of 3Million as the engineer's fee. Labour alone is 550k excluding engineer's fee.
It's a plot of land with very hard/dry soil in Abeokuta. The plan is strip foundation of 3bedroom up and 3bedroom down. That's just a storey building.
Professionals in the house pls help analyze if this high cost is worth it. I have almost same question. Someone I know is planning on doing almost same project but 6 flats in all of 2bedroom each I.e 2bedroom*3flats up and 2bedroom*3 flats down. Ish is that is doesn't know how much is ideal to negotiate with the engineer as his fee |

I'm in the same shoe as you. MTN is requesting for national ID for retrieval. Meanwhile I have Drivers licence, International Passport and Voters card. To make matters worse, NIMC staffs are on strike so I can't even register for the National ID. Even for those who has National ID, they'd still say no network. I dont understand MTN network. Why don't they just allow people retrieve their lines and get back to their businesses while nimc sorts themselves and then we can now link.
I don't understand why NCC didn't think this through. Have a working system first before implementing this whole NIN linking thing. |
