PoliticsRe: Northern Youths Shortlist 60 Candidates For President by Chilug(m): 10:31am On Jul 19, 2013
fydence: The Arewa Youth Movement, after a rigorous screening exercise, has listed 60 Nigerians, most of them of northern extraction, to succeed Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan as President of the Federal republic of Nigeria. These are persons they believe can tackle the present level of underdevelopment, insecurity and disunity in the country.
Although the nominees cut across different ideological orientations and political parties, they are mainly liberals, progressives and even radicals. Three names have been selected from each state, on the basis of geo-political representation and considerations that favour merit as well as ethnic, gender and religious inclusiveness. Clearly, some states have stronger candidates than others, and the process is continuous, based on agreed criteria for further pruning.
In drawing up the list, consideration was also given to leaders from different vocational backgrounds. Additional criteria included credibility, good education, consistency, reasonable levels of low or lack of corruption, public sector experience, patriotism, national and international acceptability, and firmness and strength of character to implement fundamental development projects.
The Movement is very optimistic that one of its nominees will emerge as the next President of Nigeria, after a continuing process of processing, including public debates and public scrutiny of the potentials of the candidates. The other nominees will then be expected to support the winner to run the country well on the basis of collective leadership.
If for any reason, the President is to come from the South, three nominees:

ferhyntorlah: If a lady doesn't give you her number, it means she's not into you! For me, giving a guy my number means that:
1. I'm tired of him pestering me for it so I oblige.
2. I feel pity for him after all the "hardwork" to get the number.
3. I'm into him
4. I want to know what's he is up to (curiosity).
can u be into him if u re in a serious relationship? I think giving out ur number is just courtesy and u never know when it might come handy whether u re into d person or not
RomanceRe: Is Giving Out Her Number One Sign That She Is In Love Or Likes U. by Chilug(op): 6:09am On May 27, 2013
cvibe2: @OP,

If a girl does not give you her number, that means she does not dig you.

Not boasting, but it usually takes me about 2 minutes to get a girls number, but then I'm guilty for one of those topics posted by a lady some time ago "why do guys get your number and never call?"
I am even more guilty of that. I ask a girl for her number and she decline after we took some pictures together and it got me wondering what's up with her, I didn't ask again so she later ask if I need it lol

EducationRe: Fomer Education Minister Joins Nairaland by Chilug(m): 9:49pm On Mar 18, 2013
dauda birmah: As minister,
I was a vocal critic of the satellite
campus system, which I believed
was seriously lowering the quality of
higher education in the country. “I
was the first person to notice
that.”Today, we have the
Open University system which is
taking care of that need. I also
introduced the French language
policy so that every Nigerian can
have the opportunity to be bi-
lingual. When I left office it was
abolished. I also brought focus on teacher
education so that you first of all
produce teachers who will teach
others. Building schools without the
people to teach is an effort in
futility.”Maybe you. Were in the primary school at that time for you. To notice all of it
During your time sir teachers were paid peanuts, u never made any efforts to increase their salary. I wonder how u were confortable with that.
