HesInMe:True.. Investors reap more from the Share premium contracts and there seem to be little opportunities. Even the capitalisation is still poor. But they have to start somewhere sha. If litigations and claims are easily sorted out by parties happily, it reduces their perceived -ve image, Confidence might return to the sector gradually and previously reluctant companies might key in to premium contracts. apart from capitalisation, The bill is also giving NAICOM stronger regulatory powers and control in the sector. Though I agree we still have a long way to sway investors apathy. |
sslcrypt:You Gerrit.. He's contributing positively these days ![]() |
Raider76:3bn and 2bn as Capitalisation minimum is very poor for the sector. OverL the years, some haven't even done up-to 10-15times addition to shore up th amount inform of retained earnings or more capitalisation. hence most Price-Earning valuation multiple of the sector remain at 1X-3X Insurance is a risky business that depends on the success of other businesses to survive. A single claim or multiples of claim within a Quarter or a Year can wipe out companies retained earnings and even SHF. An increased Capitalisation requirement can help absorb such risk whenever they occur, If it happens, -increased dividend yield for some; -Consistent yearly dividend for others; investors might want to increase the average Price-Earning valuation ratio of the industry in general to say 4X-6X despite the dilution. Even with the dilution, the OS might not be as much as compared to other sectors doing recapitalisation. That could be one part of the whole picture. |
BABANGBALI:I get you perfectly, just catching cruise with your grammar hoping you will notice the slight typo error you made and you still made it again ".....the guy didn't |

Pure Inhumane. There must be a story to warrant such PASSIONATE joint forces brutality. The Prisoner must have been a witness to sth OR heard sth he shouldn't OR done sth embarrassing to any of those officers publicly or privately OR his crime for being in prison in the first place came back to hunt him(paid Security to finish him off) and he is now considered a threat if he keeps existing as a person... Especially if hes discharge time is also around the corner(1-3yrs) |

ufotunang:sometimes i dont really understand this too. But I think they cause damage through the engine open holes, like they are drawn to it by wind. Much like the effect we experience when a speeding trailer passes you walking by. One feels the effect of the wind it drags alongside. If one isn't careful, one might fall off the road. I might be wrong, but that's how I try to understand it. |

essentialone1:1)i assume fake drugs increase + local fake production. 2) increase in Retail price cost with less and less numbers of consumers doesn't match the cost of manufacture or cost of sale in the industry in general. (herbal leads the day) This is evident in the destruction of expired products by NAFDAC consistently. 3)negative perception from media publicity e.g GSK leaving, NAFDAC hammer on drugs., non-avaikability of essential drugs sef in stores, etc. 4) They are currently building a huge plant in lagos FTZ in partnership I think. it's long term. 5) The actualisation of No 4. to Shareholders will be in the long-term. |
