How about MUN Frankrobbn1: You have 85.9% of securing visa with the school. Brock University is a very good institution and all the students I know that used the school got their visa approved.
It will end in praise |

Thesis or course based? wongwe: Good day to the elders in the forum.
I got my acceptance letter from MEMORIAL UNIVERSITY OF NEWFOUNDLAND yesterday to study a 2yrs masters program.
The Tuition fees is $9,666, and i got a funding of $5,000 per annum, which is expected to cover my tuition for the 2 years.
Now here is my bone of contention. I am planning to sponsor myself and i have 2 major questions:
1) I have been self employed since 2019, but i work as a freelancer (which does not relate with my admitted program of study). How will i present myself as my sponsor without implicating myself?
2) How much will be needed to show the availability of proof of funding?
All response will be truly appreciated... Thanks |

I don't know why one should even come on this thread to even discourage or even try to discourage people on here. I have seen some that was quoted as an "advice". Their visa was rejected, instead of saying words of encouragement, you start yawning how they can make money here in Naija etc. They didn't know they can make money here in Nigeria before applying aby. Who ask you. Please if you don't have any meaningful reply as i didn't mention any name, please don't quote me. Thanks and God bless. |

In this lockdown. Most schools aren't operating, your best option is to use your unofficial transcript and state why you are using it.since your school doesn't issue that then i don't know what other option you can use Slayyy001: Unilag does not issue unofficial transcript o ! Other schools are giving their students transcripts or sending it to the schools abroad once they pay online . However , unilag is just different and they are not processing application for transcripts yet! Pls anyone who knows anyone who can help. Biko ! I can message you privately . Deadline May 31st |

Ok thanks. librangyps: If it is stated on your transcript 'Bachelor degree awarded' , when they receive your transcript, they will thick the box for transcript and degree confirmation.
But if it's not stated, then your school might need to send a scanned copy of ur cert or an official letter saying after completion of your program, bachelor of science or whatever degree was awarded. |

Ok Stevenssen: yeah you're quite right. I'm talking about student visa |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Chimzy4real: 12:05pm On May 09, 2020 |
Ok. Understood Naijaforeigner: You will understand better when you come in. Visa is for traveling in and outside Canada.
Yeah, type of visa and being inside Canada is different. The most important document you need as a student inside Canada is your study permit. Once your study permit is valid, you have nothing to worry about. Your study permit must not expire before you either renew it or switch to another visa type, usually PGWP, while in Canada. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Chimzy4real: 8:30pm On May 08, 2020 |
Ohhh ok...that depends on the type of visa. Is that not where overstay comes in? I am open to corrections Stevenssen: VISA is just for traveling into a country. It does not determine how long you'll stay there |

I just hope it pops out on time. Cos the deadline is next month ♂️ Cflow10: It would turn up, sometimes MUN takes time even before the pandemic. When I submitted my transcript and appraisal letter(was losing my shit as it didn’t reflect for a while), think I sent mails but it did eventually. So it still will. |

They stopped it. They now send it directly to them. Martinomi: No. You'll download the appraisal form and send them to your referees. They'll fill it out and send it back to MUN by email ofcourse. Bear in mind that it should be sent from their official email. |

Thanks alot. Cos i have been sending mails back and forth. Hahahaha So it is after this links will be sent to my referees contain the letter of appraisal form yeah? Martinomi: Hello chimzy4real. Stay calm, you're safe. You'll eventually get a mail from MUN regarding the receipt of your application. This will also contain your student application number. The application will also pop up on the portal hopefully this week or next week. Goodluck on your application. |
