A National Diploma student of Federal Polytechnic Oko in Anambra State, committed suicide few days ago shortly after telling his friends he was going on a journey of no return.

The Oko Polytechnic student who committed suicide was nicknamed Mr HOD and he is said to be a Department of Public Administration undergraduate. It was gathered that he drank sniper and died while being rushed to the hospital. Here are some posts which confirmed the sad incident below;

Okoro Blessing, the 'Break or Makeit' CEO who admitted yesterday that she lied about building a new house, has launched an investigation after her safety was threatened over the incident.

From the post she shared, the blogger who admitted lying about building a new house after countering the claim several times was told she will get missing if she does that again. However sharing the post, Okoro Blessing who announced that an investigation has been launched after her safety was threatened, added that she never shared it for pity or sympathy. She added that this is a phase that will pass.

Dencia has slammed Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo a.k.a RMD who in his post yesterday stated that plastic surgery can never make one happy but adds to insecurities.

Recall we reported yesterday that the actor said that a woman who is secure in her looks, will never have the urge to go under the knife for enhancement. Telling his fans to think about Michelle Obama, RMD stated that plastic surgery can never make one happy as most of the things we do to show others we are beautiful, made, tough and/or connected are things that magnify our insecurities.

Report of Ubi Franklin expecting a 4th child with a 4th woman identified as Sandra Iheuwa has taken a different twist, as it was gathered that she was engaged to another man before Ubi Franklin got her pregnant. 

A Nigerian doctor and Twitter user, Oluwafisayo who commented on the report, disclosed that she knew about this since 2018. She further revealed that Sandra Iheuwa was engaged to another man before Ubi Franklin got her pregnant. She also shared a March 1 report on SDK which corroborated her claim. It was further gathered that she was engaged to a lawyer who she gave N8million and now demanding back after their engagement packed up.

A quick check on Instagram also revealed that she has gotten N1million out of the N8million she borrowed the lawyer she was previously engaged to. Sandra Iheuwa wrote on Instagram;

CDQ has countered DJ Cuppy over her speech at the Global Citizen event in Germany, in which she said that 70% of the Nigerian population lack access to clean water. According to DJ Cuppy, the statistics of lack of access to clean water is one thing she is not happy with and her presence at the Global Citizen event might bring some relief to these Nigerians.

She shared the video on Instagram with the caption; Raising awareness at #GlobalCitizenLive ⭕️ Let’s start to recognise issues and take action!

Rema has fired back at those mocking him, over his official video for his hit single 'Dumebi' which was released days ago.  The 18-year-old Mavin singer joined four friends on a camping trip in the music video for 'Dumebi', a group that includes a girl he's in love with. Sadly for him, the group also includes her boyfriend. Rema tried his best to show her how he feels but is thwarted at every turn.

However things took a different twist on social media, as some entertainment critics stated that the video never matched the lyrics of his hit. However Rema who fired back at those mocking his video for his hit single 'Dumebi', stated that it is his sound and also his generation. He also told his critics to accept hiss visual.

Nigeria's communications minister, Adebayo Shittu has been sued by his ex-aides over an alleged N21.5m unpaid salaries and allowances. The Communications minister was dragged before the National Industrial Court (NIC) in Abuja by former Personal Assistant to the minister, Razaq Olubodun, and Special Assistant on Media, Victor Oluwadamilare.Mr Olubodun who said he is seeking to recover N9.8 million from Mr Shittu which is his salaries and allowances for 24 months, said the federal government paid the money to the minister alongside his salaries. 

Mr Oluwadamilare on the other hand is seeking to recover N11.7million from the communications minister, which according to him is his outstanding salaries and allowances for 28 months. The two ex-aides who sued the communications minister over unpaid salaries and allowances, are among the over seven aides of the Minister who resigned due to issues bordering on nonpayment of salaries and allowances. They are also  seeking an order on the defendant to pay N50million to each of them, and to also pay them their full taxed costs of the prosecution of the suits.
