FamilyRe: Divorce Lawyer Reveals A Fraction Of The Things Her Eyes Have Seen In Lagos by chinchum(m): 7:10pm On May 10, 2025
DrAda:
If there is no love or mutual respect, if the man or woman is physically and emotionally abusive, then what exactly is the sex intended to achieve?
A woman complaining of not being touched in 2 years is a form of abuse and disrespect, reason why i call it a symptom of issues in marriage. There may be a primary cause that leads to a man or woman not wanting to consummate their marriage. I agree with you on that basis. Poor financial status in a home may lead to one party using withholding sex as a weapon. A man not having sex with his wife may also have lost physical attraction to his wife and there is a good chance he is commiting adultery.

Much ado about sex. There are many more important things to worry about like physical abuse, emotional abuse and financial abuse.
Sex is not much ado oh, it is a necessary lubricant in marriage. It is like a car without engine oil. and now you say there are many important things with the car like brake, gear e.t.c , however that car may be on the way to knock without engine oil all other things working fine. Except on mutual consent and physical distance , lack of sex is a symptom of defect in the marriage.

People must take up Jamb seriously. They have a computer glitch that affected some students. I guess most good students with poor result were grade over 200 instead of 400.I know of someone who was given 168 despite scoring 339 in previous 2022,7A1 in Waec and NECO, 1480 in SAT... 35/36 in ACT.. Something went wrong. We should not keep quite. Dear JAMB Official,

I am writing to respectfully request a formal review of my UTME results for the year 2025( Registration number: 20250235433IA), as I believe the score I received does not reflect my academic ability or consistent performance across multiple standardized tests.

I have consistently demonstrated high academic achievement:

WASSCE 2022: 7 A1s including Mathematics, Further Math, Biology, Chemistry, and Computer Studies.

NECO 2022: 7A1s too

SAT: 1480/1600 (Math – 770, EBRW – 710), placing me in the top percentiles globally.

ACT: 35/36

Previous UTME 2022: 339/400 202211060357JA
Reg Number: 202211060357JA. Your 2022 UTME Result: ENG: 71, MAT: 95, PHY: 87, CHE: 86, Aggregate: 339*
( Didn't use due to a severe long term injury; got admission into covenant university)

IYMC (International Youth Math Challenge): Silver Medalist

Given these records, I respectfully request a review of my UTME script(s) and score. I am confident that this will help ensure fairness and transparency in the evaluation process.

Thank you for your consideration.
This is well articulated and judging from past performances deserve a review. Find out how to register your complaint, include copies of documents of your outstanding academic prowess. The system may have glitched or early submission of exam. A breakdown of current jamb score may also provide more insight.

Why people come dey shout as if this na the worst jamb in history of Nigeria?
Because they are devoid of critical thinking and easily carried away by social engineering. The first question anyone with a bit of sense should ask is what year(s) are we comparing it to? The data in the last 25 years have not shown any remarkable difference, in actual fact, the percentages of candidates scoring 200+ have increased prior to CBT administered jamb exams.

what has he done in terms of good governance that will make him seal 2027 re-election?

since you say he has spent just 2years, should the discussion be about re-election or about the fortune of nigerians on whose behalf tinubu is occupying the office of president of nigeria?
The discussion is about both else he wont be back in 2027. Removing fuel subsidy and floating is a necessary evil Nigerian politicians will sacrifice on the altar of re election. Tinubu choose to take those bold decisions, i doubt another nigerian politician can do that as they will surely lose reelection or suffer massive revolt. He has taken the two actions with an uncommon dexterity whilst he strive to convert the actions to medium and long term gain from the current short term pain. Can you name anyother politician that will remove fuel subsidy and float naira at about the same time.

Tinubu is different from Buhari.

He is almost sealing 2027 re-election while he is yet to clock 2 years as president.

The pass rate of about 25% scoring 200 and above is one of the highest in the history of Jamb. Anyone with a contrary stat should provide it. It is not necessarily different from what obtained in the last decade.
We like to sensationalise data as it suits us in Nigeria.

In yr 2000 , only 8% of JAMB candidates scored above 200. This stat is for those who are quick to label children of nowadays as dumb with an imaginary but false belief that 20-30 years ago, jamb candidates were better.

The highest score in JAMB late 90's and very early 2000s was circa 270-280's

Peter Obi's claim of one university for every one million people is misleading. With Nigeria's population at approximately 250 million, are we also considering the elderly and graduates in this count? Let's avoid distorting the facts and think critically about the data.
one of the annoying unintelligent criticism. He really masks his shallowness to the naive folks. It doesn't take me long to spot such lack of depth individuals. Withing 25 years, number of Nigerias university has increased from 45 to over 220. Overwhelming majority of Nigerians have no direct connection with university education

PresidObi:
I won't reply you. Let me take it you didn't know what happened in this year's JAMB, your comments are so unrelated to the reality of the matter.
There is nothing unrelated. JAMB has consistently improved with his logistics over the years.

I remember the days when you cant buy jamb form online except defunct Afribank with few branches nationwide, there was no online registration and exams were held on same day and time nationwide. Examcards for designated centres were sent by mail to homes by inefficient Nipost. Results could only be obtained by visiting Ikoyi Jamb office or await result slip sent by jamb via inefficient nipost. This was the case even as at the turn of this millenium, meaning as at year 2000. Jamb exam leakage was also endemic.

Talk is cheap and making destructive criticism is easy.

I really laugh at people who talk about phantom good old days in Nigeria, such good old days if any is far and in between. Good old days in Nigeria is either delusion or blind nostalgia.

I repeat JAMB is one of the few government agencies that have made a quantum leap in how it organises its duty, including keeping the exam fee low . In this day and age, there is nothing you should be doing in an ivory tower if basic information as exam starting at 8am can not be determined as different from registration starting at 6:30am.

By knowing your exam centre days in advance, you can plan which if far from your home may even be due to you delaying registration or purposely aiming for special centres.

Many children were in the school as early as 5 am, thinking the exam will start by 6.30. Many children slept anywhere in and around the centres, even at the open fields where it didn't rain.

Why did children have to suffer like criminals just to be allowed to enter university?
it is a sign of weak education and not able to comprehend instructions to think exam starts at 6:30am. A possible failure of parent/guardian guidance as well.

Most schools resume at 7:15am in the morning. If you registered at a centre far away from your residence for "God knows what" maybe special centre. Don't turnaround and blame JAMB. Such students can go closer to the centre a day earlier. This Peter Obi does not even know how to make sensible criticism

Agbegbaorogboye:
I have always insisted that Nigeria's population is grossly overestimated
If after all the enrollment surge that was occasioned by NIN-SIM linkage that even foreigners from Niger, Chad, Benin were registering as Nigerians, total figure is a paltry 118m not even close to half of our projected 250m population, then it's obvious that we might not even be up to 200m in the final run.

As at the last count, INEC database had 94m Nigerians and even that still contains foreigners.

So how is the 250m claim justified in the midst of these figures?
i think you need to be 16 to register for NIN. No? Most people who dont need it do not register. It may be too quick to conclude Nigeria's population is overstated. Nigerias median age is about 18 years, meaning half of the population is less than 18 years

@StatiSense
very wrong country to compare with. Argentina just collected over 30 billion dollars in debt from IMF for the country not to sink. This amount is not the first big debt he is borrowing. Imagine a country with the tiny population when compared to Nigeria collecting such humongous debt, offcourse it will make sense as that will defend its currency. Imagine Nigeria with a population of over 200 million borrows 150 billion dollars today and defend naira and economy, we will appear falsely big and Naira will witness a sudden jump and improved GDP in us dollar terms. But to what extent?

Argentina is technically sinking and the policies of the current president has been draconian as well , as he has layed off about half of the civil servants with out any wage increase to the best of my knowledge.

If i borrow you $10 and you work as a civil servant in Nigeria. when dollar was $1 to 30 Naira. Your budget to pay back will 3000naira

If i come back today and i ask for my money back, you still owe me $10 but you have to pay 15000 Naira from your job to pay.

So when Tinubu's regime is telling us the debt is now only $9, that he has paid $1. Nigeria's debt is actually increasing.
debt reduction is in is dollars, not naira. That should cover your argument if you are sincere. If not, you simply want to argue.

14 billion dollars reduction
PoliticsRe: Libyan Oil Revenue Decline, Unrest Send Dinar Plunging by chinchum(m): 4:34am On Apr 22, 2025
malali:
I will tell you why.....This is because this administration is using the $1 = 1500naira to calculate the debt now. We are owing more in Naira than when Tinubu took office, but they are deceiving the public by calculating the Debt at the New Exchange rate.

• As of December 31, 2023: Nigeria’s public debt stood at ₦97.34 trillion (approximately $108.23 billion).
• As of December 31, 2024: The public debt rose to ₦144.67 trillion (approximately $94.23 billion).

If you borrow $10 from me when it was 300naira to a dollar.......you have borrowed 3000naira
When the exchange rate is now $1 to 1500naira
You now tell Nigerians we only owe $2 which is 3000naira

But in reality we still owe that $10 which is now 15000 naira
Our debt went from 3000naira to 15000 naira.

And Tinubu is still borrowing more.
did Nigeria borrow in naira huh? grin grin. How come some of you just get so negative that you bury your head in sand to spin negative from positive? In your pedestrian and shallow analysis of borrowing $10. If you have not paid back, you still owe $10. A snapshot of foreign debt typically denoninated in us dollar stays constant, while naira value of debt may vary assuming no more debt or repayment.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria’s Debt Has Dropped By $14bn Under Tinubu–presidency by chinchum(m): 1:20am On Apr 22, 2025
It means Nigeria is paying its debt obligation faster than it is borrowing. If the monentum is sustained and our income increases geometrically, Nigeria may be debt free in less than 5 years and have no reason to borrow. Although we don't need to be entirely debt free for a developing nation.

Well, it depends on him. It is no longer a wow amount as it would have been some 10 years ago.

Other conditions that will matter is if he cooks himself? working from home and not need to commute to work? whether he has dependents(siblings, parents, wife, children girlfriend e.t.c)? , not a spend thrift that likes showoff, any investment plan? Not cbex like oooo. Paying rent or own a house or libing in family house? Own a car? Has a costly habit like drugs, womanising, gambling, ?

There are too many factors that can make the money appear like 50k.

Someone up made a perfect summary which is the value of money lies in the owners hand.

To those converting to foreign currency, that is obviously not a smart thing to do. It is about the same foolishness as converting foreign currency earned by abroad resident to naira.
