Sorry o. So how exactly are we supposed to read the bible? Are we supposed to turn off our brains first, or read it in tiny snippets out of context the way we were taught in church? Anyhoo, Deuteronomy has one funny passage where it says the if you marry a girl and you discover she's not a virgin, you can call the "assembly of the people" to the front of her parent's house and stone her to death there. The funny part is that if her family can produce a bloodstained bedsheet to "prove" her virginity, the poor girl has to go back to the guy's house and they can never divorce. Apparently, it never occured to the guy who wrote the law (Moses?) that the girl might not want to stay married to the wicked basterd who f.ucked her then tried to have her killed in front of her family.

Also, you would think that the all-knowing creator would be aware that not all virgins bleed the first time they have se.x and that bleeding during se.x is not proof of virginity. Plenty of girls are born without a hymen or rupture it during non-se.xual activity. I can't imagine how many innocent jewish girls must have died horribly because of this silly law.

I also can't imagine how so many educated women can follow this blatantly sexist, misogynistic religion. There are so many other examples of sexism in the bible from Eve bringing sin into the world, to the laws of Moses, to Apostle Paul telling women to STFU when in church. Its unbelievable. Are you sure you Christians have actually read this book?

It's not always about money. You think anyone would dare speak down on Genevieve Nnaji? She acts because she loves acting. She doesn't do it for the money. If one is to compare between who works for the money and who works for the love of the work, one will notice a difference in work ethic. Not only did she say she's in it for the money, but she doesn't even make an attempt to know everyone she's working with. For this reason, she comes off as cheap to me.
