SEFAGO: Most people are getting the terms wrongly. Third world country and developing country are the same. No difference, so calling china a developing country and not a third world country doesn't make sense So what is Nigeria? |

^ I always heard it referred to as that too. A developing country can't be 3rd world. |

platinumnk: Yes but they are talking about govermental agencies aiding Haiti, Nigeria has only offered half thrown words . . Ok, if only the President can be located. Not like he can do any more than he's been doing for the country's citizens. |

platinumnk: Nigeria is poor- ta! Have u seen the estates where the governmental housing? Governmental housing does not constitute the whole Nigeria. Heck, most countries definitely have fine governmental housing. Does that erase the over 90% of ugly housings in the middle of slums? Well, Nigeria is not poor per se but they might as well be, the people can't see the resources, which is what really matters. |

I don't know what's surprising about that. Most Black nations are poor and in dire need of aid even without earthquake. It's truly sad. |
