ehissi: My apologies; I remember seeing people jubilating about his death in Kaduna because he was a christian!!
Anyway don't know much about Yakowa but you also goofed as well!!
Patrick Aziza - whom you seem to be referencing -died of cancer in 2014 if I am correct!! He was never the NSA and he was never a general!! He was retired by Obasanjo as a Major-General; I believe Commerce and tourism was his last official designation and he is from delta!!
I don't need to read any of those sourced links because General Owoye Andrew Azazi has never called PDP boko haram; he was never dismissed as NSA; he died as NSA!!
And General Azazi is from Bayelsa state!!
Major General Aziza was Chairman of the Military Tribunal that sent Obasanjo to jail for the 1995 coup and that is why when Obasanjo came into power in 1999 he required Aziza to retire immediately!!
I repeat Azazi died in the plane crash; Aziza died of cancer!!
Azazi died a retired General, Aziza died a bitter Major General!! sorry I said Patrick instead of Andrew or owoeye, the fact remains that Gen Andrew Azazi was relieved of his appointment as NSA by jonathan on June 22 2012 along with the then minister of Defence.you can check this by simply asking Google.and this you can confirm by asking Google or going through the archives of various news media he spoke about The connection of PDP and bokoharam.Andrew did not die has NSA.He died as a former NSA. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/06/mixed-reactions-trail-azazi-bellos-sack/https://www.google.com.ng/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/06/mixed-reactions-trail-azazi-bellos-sack/&ved=0ahUKEwjC1a35zNDJAhVDrxoKHflQDbsQFggkMAQ&usg=AFQjCNHUJHpcWoG0Sqlm1FYZaRHeCm4umw&sig2=2yB38ZPQv8aFV-95Rq45QA |

ehissi: This is the problem with this country; ignorance (or lack of proper education forged out of a vibrant educational system which should be crafted by Educationists and Historians) and easy access to a vibrant and robust Judiciary!!
These are 2 issues with my country Nigeria; not corruption! And this is what politicians will never openly admit because if they do, whatever power they have over the average Nigerian is gone!!
For your information the poster of this topic is obviously one of the many ignorant fellows who were recruited during the last presidential election to create bad press and water down whatever political capital that the PDP, Jonathan or any person linked to the Jonathan adminstration may have and is obviously still on official asisgnment!!
An average Nigerian with a well rounded education would have known that no person by name of Abdulahi aziza was in any heliopter crash with Governor Yakowa!
It was General Owoye Andrew Azazi that died in a helicopter crash on December 15 2012 on a naval base in a bayelsa; he was returning from a funeral of Oronto Douglas's father (Oronto douglas was the special adviser to Jonathan on Documentation, Research and strategy, Oronto douglas himself died april 9th this year), he was in company of Governor Yakowa (a muslim who was recent converted to christianity)!!
General Owoye Azazi, a highly decorated officer of the Nigerian army, a retired 4 star general, he was former GOC (I believe it should be division 1), former chief of army staff, former chief of defence staff, and NSA to President Jonathan at the time of his death!!
Azazi's intelligence framework, as Nigeria's NSA, guided the interception of a large illegal shipment of weapons from the Islamic Republic of Iran which was shipped with the authorisation of iranian intelligence.
He had remarkable influence at the CIA and the moment we lost him; all hope of the Nigerian government co-operating with the USA to fight boko haram went to the grave with him!!
Azazi practically grew up in bayelsa, he is more or less a kin to Jonathan; he was a very vital tool in his adminstration, only a Boko haram sympathist will want to see him go!!
Dasuki is just a mere retired colonel; who didn't even have hope of smelling the corridors of power if not for Azazi's tragic exit!!
Even if Dasuki wanted azazi out, he did not have the resources, manpower nor intelligence framework nor bandwith to make that kind of gameplay against azazi!!
Get your Head right!! you goofed.Patrick yakowa has always been a christian from birth. Am not stating the points presented as facts. All am saying is that the govt should in the interest of fairness examine all issues and motives as related to The death of Gen. Patrick Azazi.if it was human error Nigerians deserve to know and to help guard against future occurrence.if it was planed we deserve to know and perpetrators brought to book. I believe Azazi's deserves this on the part of the government he served. Mind you he was the first person in the capacity of an NSA to come out publicly to declare PDP was bokoharam. This declaration was done while he was still the NSA. Within some weeks he was dismissed ,and not too long he died in a mysterious helicopter crash. http://abusidiqu.com/azazi-referred-to-the-pdp-ungovernable-threats-before-he-was-killed-in-crash/http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/111388-ill-fated-helicopter-exploded-before-crashing-killing-yakowa-azazi-four-others.html.mind you this guy was promoted from a major general to a lieutenant general and a full general within 1 year. Godjone: In a chat with Vanguard, Suleman, the founder of the Edo-based Omega Fire and Miracles Ministries also has said that the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration will fight Christians. During the interview, he said: “I want to start with the latest, and that was the death of Abubakar Audu in the Kogi State election. I was at a crusade in our Houston Texas branch on November 7, 2015, when God revealed to me that a popular politician in Nigeria could die in the middle of an election. “I told the nation. Then there was the event on September 20, 2015 when I said I saw that there was going to be fresh bombings in Borno and I asked Nigerians to go into prayer. Many had believed that with the coming of President Muhammadu Buhari to power, the Boko Haram bombings were going to stop but God said not yet. “Also, on Sunday October 25, 2015, I told the world that I saw an aircraft of a foreign nation crashing with no casualty. That later happened to be Dynamic Airways which caught fire but no life was lost.” While speaking on what the newly constituted administration will do to Christians in the country, he said: “All the events where these prophecies were announced were aired live on our ministry’s Celebration TV. On May 29, 2015, God spoke through me and I said it that the Buhari government would fight churches. Not long after, the Kaduna State governor, El-Rufai, shut down a church in Kaduna. “This particular warning was repeated on August 28 and September 6, 2015. On June 26 and July 6, 2015, I foresaw fire outbreak and buildings collapse in Lagos, which came to pass. On that same June 26, I warned of an inferno at Onitsha market, which also came to pass, because people ignored these warnings and refused to seek God’s face over them. “Also, I’m the first man of God that foresaw the demise of Chief (Mrs.) HID Awolowo. During the September Fire and Miracle Night, I did warn of the impending death of a prominent female figure that will touch the nation.” Just recently, a report by a Zimbabwean media outfit, Zimeye.com, claimed that the popular Nigerian preacher, Temitope Balogun Joshua, got the medical records of the former Malawian president Bingu Mutharika before predicting his death.

ArodeTsolaye: Some people go just faint. Biafrans are moving. They are waiting for no man. Op please arrange it well. Let me help.
The Organization of Emerging African States (OEAS), an international governmental organization that promotes self-determination and the end to colonial era boundaries in Africa has outlined reasons why there should a snap referendum for Biafra Republic. OEAS noted that if there is a secession, all “Property of the federal government within the borders of Biafra will become property of Biafra.
The Nigerian government however will retain all national debt. Biafra will then release the Nigerian government from any obligation to pay reparations for crimes committed during the war of independence 1967-1970.” OEAS noted that as of today the people of Biafra are locked in an epic struggle with the Nigerian federal government, the inevitable result of which will likely be some form of self-determination for Biafra. The OEAS wants a snap referendum to be held within 90 days with OEAS, UNPO, and UN, EU and AU nonaligned observers supervising the balloting process. Various effected groups and individuals have asked for details which OEAS can now provide.
Why a Snap Referendum? The people of Biafra have waited almost 50 years to legitimize their choice. There is no need to prolong the process. A lengthy delay will no doubt result in violence and bloodshed as out of the area ruffians and intimidators come into the region to try to unlawfully influence results.
Who will be eligible to vote in the Referendum? All persons living within the confines of the borders of the former Republic of Biafra as of January 1, 2016 will be eligible to vote. In addition, persons living outside the borders who can demonstrate significant ties to Biafra by family or property may choose to vote as well.
What are the choices? A. For total independence and the restoration of the Republic of Biafra as a sovereign independent nation.
B. For internal self-rule as an autonomous Biafra republic with its own parliament, currency, police and prime minister but with external affairs and other matters handled by the Nigerian federal government. This would be an arrangement similar to Scotland and the United Kingdom or Greenland and Denmark. C. For no change.
How many votes are required? Whatever option above gets a plurality will be the chosen result. If we choose an independent Biafra, what then? After an orderly transition period of no more than 180 days, Biafra will again be independent. Those who wish to maintain their Nigerian citizenship may do so but will be under Biafran rule and must affirmatively register themselves as aliens. Likewise, those outside Biafra with ties to Biafra may become Biafran citizens after renouncing Nigerian citizenship.
What about former federal government property? Property of the federal government within the borders of Biafra will become property of Biafra. The Nigerian government however will retain all national debt. Biafra will then release the Nigerian government from any obligation to pay reparations for crimes committed during the war of independence 1967-1970.
What about the borders? The borders with Nigeria must be settled by the time of independence in order to avoid disorder and discord. On the other hand, Biafra should not be obligated to follow any agreements between Cameroun and Nigeria, any loss of territory must be subject to a democratic referendum.
Is all this really possible? We answer emphatically is yes. The people of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea made their choice to leave Ukraine under far more stressful circumstances. The vote was so overwhelmingly in favor that no country has seriously challenged the will of the people.
Finally, what about those criminals who have oppressed Biafrans and committed crimes and atrocities against the people of Biafra?
A Truth and Reconciliation Commission composed of Biafrans and other experts will establish the truth and investigate political and genocidal crimes from 1967 to present. The Committee will have the power to grant clemency and forgiveness but also may make recommendations as to prosecution in the most serious cases of crimes against humanity, war crimes, and genocide. see delusion of the highest order. |
