Where Leon for pick 2 yellows? na just yday yellow na....its Moses and Mikel that had yellows pls.....stop false rumours
Yep my bad, it wasn't Balogun that got yellow carded in Uyo and Yaounde. As a matter of factly, nobody got yellows successively. Ighalo and Moses plus Mikel(I guess) all got their yellows in either of the two matches, hence barring any injury we should have a full battalion against the Zambians in Uyo.

Thanks for that correction miss.

Off point : plz stop making mention of Ifeanyi udeze and Oshaniwa here

Thanks to our boys and the technical staff for sticking to their tactics to secure these four points in the double header against the Lions of Cameroun. He should sever ties with Liverpool to remain in Belgium so as to develop his career because jumping from one club to another in the name of playing opportunities while riding on the tag of big English club (like Omeruo) as a parent club won't help him at all.

I doubt u read through previous arguments before u dabbled... Without trynna straggle from the main point, we (Joebie and I) specifically stated that our youngsters should choose the Belgian league ahead of leagues like Turkey for proper development but when u are gone past ur youthful age, u can try a better league though to me, turkey ain't one of those better leagues.

As a fan, it is quite easy for you to say this because you're not wearing the shoes.

If your brother was a footballer, will you honestly advice him to walk away from a €3.5M per year deal ( Emenike was paid something close to that in Turkey) and instead move to Belgium where he gets 300k per annum just because you feel he stands a chance of being spotted by Watford while playing in Belgium?
What if he gets injured? How about a loss of form? A chance in management which could see him benched etc... Transfer decisions are like Russian roulette, nothing is guaranteed in the life of a footballer. You can be the hottest young player in the world one season and virtually slip into oblivion and surplus to requirements in 2 seasons, look at Jack wilshere, nobody even wants him on loan.

Truth is that a footballers career is short and we all know most football players are still sparsely educated, so they have little to fall back on. If you don't take a chance on yourself, make quick bucks (strike when the iron is hot). You may end up in penury quickly after you hang your boots.
All these sermon yet u were complaining that our stars don't command big transfer bucks. Have u forgotten so soon how u were praising Keita of Leipzig and condemning our boys? If Keita had gone to Turkey ahead of Germany in pursuit of money over growth, do you sincerely think Liverpool would be ready to path with up to 20k to secure his services let alone his 70k asking price?

EMIR KONGI JAFFI JOFFA
HT 0-0. Wow! We got one(Henry Onyekuru) folks. A very good one! He was easily the best offensive player on the field in the first 45min. I was especially impressed with his much improved sense of positioning and ability to track back and help the defense. When he has the ball at his feet running at defenders is when he's most effective. Oostende really had no options but to foul him in dangerous places a few times. Too bad Anderlecht doesn't have players at the top level that can help him create because he's a class player. Needs to get stronger though. Let's hope he has an even better 2nd half.

I think some of us are going about this league comparison the wrong way. I have been critical of some Nigerian players transferring to Turkey but the truth is that Turkish league is well ahead of Belgium Pro league.
My reason is that the Belgian league is structured more like Europe's development league, where clubs come around and poach talents from. Their buisness strategy is to get young players with the aim of developing them for unward sale for profit. This explains why the transfer record in Belgium stands at €5.5M.

Compared to Turkey, where their buisness strategy is to spend money and attract stars to their league. Their clubs are basically better financed, which is evident on their transfer record towering at €17M with tons of transfer in excess of €10M (recall Belgium Pro league transfer record stands at €5.5M).

Truth is that football players find Turkey more attractive than say Belgium because of the better pay package. I know some will have a problem with this, but we must understand that not everyone in Belgium get transfered to the Premiership and La liga.
Football is a buisness after all. Ask Neymar.
I guess mayhap, u missed where we specifically wrote "players developments". I won't celebrate a move to Belgium by any nigerian player above 23years but i will that of a youngster (from 23 downwsrds) because i see the Belgian league as a developmental league.

So sir, we are saying same thing.

About my comment "if u playing in Turkey, u on ur own", it is for those players who have come of age. They ought to be finding their ways to atleast the french league not Turkish league of all leagues. They should up their ante and stop settling for less. Imagine Onazi to Trabz from Lazio, Imoh Ezekiel to Sumz from being a hot property in Europe when he was Batsuayi's partner in crime at Liege etc. U want me to celebrate these moves? No way. Omeruo was a better player at Liege bfor his ill-advised move to Chelsea that has reduced him to an u18 player at the age of 23. If he was patient enough, he Would have had a better development in Belgium than what he got in England. He completed his self destruction (sorry to say this) the moment he opted for stints in Turkey at the developmental stage of his career.

If u know as this Onyekuru's loan move to Anderletch dey sweet me ehh.

You are right. The elite clubs seem to scout the Belgian league better than the Turkish league. So that says something. The likes of Lukaku, Fellaini, Courtois, were all plucked directly from there and the elite clubs are also more likely to send their players on loans to Belgium than they are to Turkey.
You wouldn't quote this man if u knew his motives. Dude is trynna ridicule nigerian youngsters for choosing Belgium as a place to horn their talents because to him, anything non English is crap.

If that is what you call a giant move then I am lost for words. These Nordic are at best on par with League 1 in England probably even lower.
U really are a very funny man, very unstable just like a gal on menstruation, sorry about that. U come here all day to praise the Cameroonian stars, talking about how Nigerian stars wouldnt be able to stop them because our players play in Belgium etc but u hardly acknowledge the fact that over 80% of their stars play in backwater leagues not any where as good as the Belgium league.

“Pep should adjust his methods to the demanding EPL. This means he should reduce the intensity/fatigue of his training sessions between games."

Those were the words of a Dutch Fitness guru to Guardiola. His intense training methods. That was what I wanted Iheanacho under for a year or two. Not just making headlines and calling it harnessing talent.

Pogba you talked about is a good example to me. He has made lots of headlines and made name winning titles. However, the young man can not control a midfield. This is a development he would have gained spending extra time with Sir Alex.

Also, it is ridiculous if you think Pique only learnt from the players in camp at Manchester United but did not learn from Sir Alex. Haba. Do not write this kind of thing anywhere again. It is too much amateurish.

In football, players keep learning but some scenarios bring more in the player. Look at Aguero for instance. He clearly improved in workrate under Guardiola. This is due to the intense method.

You can not assure that Pellegrini harnessed Iheanacho's talent more because all you saw was Pellegrini giving Iheanacho playing time. Apart from that, Iheanacho was more menacing under Guardiola. The runs during counter attacks, the intelligent dummies, his vision of picking up teammates in better positions to score despite being in a good scoring position (like when Iheanacho dribbled the goalkeeper and instead of going for goal, he passed to Nolito). We saw more in his few stints under Guardiola than Pellegrini. What we saw more in Pellegrini's games was goals.

Ridiculous? Sir there aint nothing more ridiculous than saying the bald lord helped develop someone he had no faith in.

Oh amateurish? Lol pique learnt his craft under the tutelage of Guardiola, went to United to fine-tune it but it turned out a misadventure, he had to run back to Barca with his lamasia teacher now at the helm, and u here trynna make me believe ferguson did a jack to help with his development? If u had mentioned Bartra and Tuchel, we would have a worthy debate sir. U goofed big time here, i'm sorry.

Why Super Lig over Ligue 1?

AC Milan Oduamadi Keen On Joining Turkish Side Goztepe, Shuns Lorient
August 3, 2017018

AC Milan Nigerian forward Nnamdi Oduamadi is hoping on a switch to newly promoted Turkish Super Lig side Goztepe despite interest in his services from Ligue 1 side Lorient.

The Turkish side have also stepped up their pursuit of the forward after hearing of his desires to join them ahead of Lorient, who have not backed up their interest with a formal approach.

Oduamadi is also courting interest from teams in Italy as he has been told by AC Milan that he is not in the first team plans of coach Vincenzo Montella who has strengthened the club with top players this summer.

A loan move is what is presently on the card for the 26 year old, although AC Milan are willing to cash in on his services if a bid that meets their valuation of the player is met by interested teams.

Known for his pace, tricks and dribbles he has spent time on loan with the likes of Crotone, Torino, Latina, Brescia and his last loan spell was with Finnish side HJK Helsinki.

"I learned so much during my time at United. Sharing a dressing room with Paul Scholes, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Ryan Giggs at such a young age was an amazing experience. I didn’t play as much as I would have liked but it was a masters degree in development both as a player and a person.".. Pique

From the above, you can see that lack of playing time does not mean the player is stagnating. That was the point I made. Working with a top quality coach like Guardiola and being in the same locker room and training pitch with the likes of Aguero, Silva and Kompany will help him grow.

I wanted Iheanacho to spend a season or two with Guardiola. He got a year. As I said before, he has my support if he decide to leave City.
Sir Joe, Sir Joe i hail thee. The pique u quoted didnt mention Sir Alex Ferguson but u already bringing in lord Guardiola in ur own post. Pique had it in him but the chance to showcase it was never afforded to him by Ferguson who placed him behind crappy Evans in his bleeped pecking order. Same fate Kelechi suffered under Guardiola. Believe it or not, Kelechi's talent was better harnessed under the previous coach (pelegrini) than the bald lord. It was clear because the kelechi of Pele was better and a different player to kelechi of the drilling bald.

I'm not happy he's left city because he could still have learnt a thing or two from the aforementioned big stars he had around him but at the same time l'm so happy he's left the drilling school because studies without proper exams to test your knowledge so far would get u ruined at the long run.

Paul pogba didnt make it because he had a Ferguson touch, neither did pique, rather they made it because they believed in their talents. KC, i pray will make it with or without Guardiola's drills because all what he needs to start shining again is that confidence of his that the bald left in a deplorable state.

My leagues this coming season are;

1. The Belgian league
2. The Epl
3. Seria A
4. Ligue 1
5. Laliga
6. Bundesliga for Osimhen

If u ply ur trade in Turkey, u r on ur own

And my club Leicester.

Joel Obi seems to have his injury debacles behind him. Lad has been so fantastic this preseason, unlike him.

My boy Nura might just nick it this season at Roma, kid has his coache's trust. Lets see how things pan out.

If Ondoa could be this good for Cameroun even as a third choice goal keeper for Sevilla B who plays at spanish segunda B, then i dont see why Uzoho who will be playing in Laliga next season shouldnt be given same opportunity with eagles.
