Kingsley has shown he can be a viable option in the midfield. Maybe not as a starter but definitely an option to have.
Collins and Shehu showed good experienced play. Their time in the national team is far from up.
Ejuke did very well although he was a bit underwhelming in the second half but I like the fact that he was always terrorizing the Cape Verde fullbacks.
All in all great international window full six points and top of the group job half done. Good thing is we are not yet playing champagne football but we're getting results that is good hopeful for the future. |

better performance than the first game IMO attack still needs more tweaking. Truly our strength in depth can't be denied missing 8-9 starters and we still played a fairly controlled game impressive. Uzoho should definitely regain the number 1 spot. Have been patient with Okoye but he hasn't shown he's better than Francis. His time will come but for now I think it's best he stays as a backup |

Decent first half we are probably unlucky to be going into the break all square.
Really poor positioning from Okoye for that goal conceded. Yes you could argue that the cade verdian was off-side but still poor from Maduka.
Kingsley, Ejuke and Shehu have impressed me the most. Simon's crosses have been awful glad Musa has taken over corner kick duties. Nice poachers goal from Osimhen. Hasn't gotten a clear sight of goal for most of the half but he's always dangerous.
Overall we've been good goal came against the run of play hopefully we can still wrap this up in the second half.
P.s the ref has been dodgy. |

Hope he delivers a virtuoso performance to celebrate his hundred cap. Glad he looks to have decided to start Ejuke. His ability to dribble and hopefully hold on to the ball will be needed. Pray for maximum 3 points but a draw is fine by me. Hopeful of a positive result by God's grace. Let's go Super Eagles Philosopher1979: Musa is better off as a winger. Ejuke should be the creative midfielder. Apart from that the formation is good.
My opinion in Ahmed Musa
Musa can be very good on his day. There are two Musas the one of the 2014 and 2018 world cup and a lacklustre Musa. However, in difficult situations like this the real Musa of the world cup shows up. Rohr just needs to work on his psyche and mentality. Musa is unplayable when in the mood and he thrives when the team needs a leader. I believe Musa will prove himself today as he rises to the occasion when it is needed |

I think we can cope on the defensive side bonnke and shehu are natural DMs it's the creativity that has me worried with the potential unavailability of Samuel Kalu that further degrades our offensive weaponry. Maybe Simon or Onyekuru will have to do a job for us tomorrow. Sportilitica: Hopefully we can pull it off. I am a bit worried about the defensive part of the midfield |

Watching the WC qualifier between Gabon and Egypt couple of observations.
1. NFF should seriously do better with the kind of pitches they allow our players to be subjected too. The Gabonese pitch is lush beautiful and well trimmed.
2. Gabon has taken the game to the Egyptians but lack of composure in front of goal is costing them. Unfortunately anytime the ball falls to a Gabon player in a dangerous area it's not Aubameyang that's on the end of it so you can guess the outcome of that opportunity.
3. Egyptians are compact in defense not much of an attacking threat except pass to Salah and inshallah.
Let's see how the second half turns out. |

Senior man's control for the second goal was so silky the fact that he pulled it off on that kind of pitch makes it extra noteworthy fabyom: It is not an easy stuff scoring two great goals on a farmland. Africa defense is in for a torture at the nation's cup! The attack of Osi, Nacho, Iwobi, Chuz, and Aribo will give most teams in the world sleepless night. Nigerians! our team is taking shape! |

Not too pretty but it's the 3 points that matter now. NFF needs to do better we can't keep almost sabotaging our teams by giving them poor playing surfaces. We need to maximize every little advantage cos this qualifiers are going to be a battle which we will need to be prepared for. Unto Cape Verde We move! |

Decent 1 half not a vintage performance but it will do for now. Need to be sharper in the 2 half and absolutely bash the Liberians.
Nice one Senior man hope he gets a deserved hattrick.
Go Super Eagles |

My guy the way they hype Amunike like he's not the same person we all saw at the 2019 AFCON. I'm for Nigerian coaches handling the national team but don't try to force unproven people on us using hype and emotional blackmail. Anyone we hire most have a track record. Keshi that we hired had already gained experience and small success handling various African teams. If Finidi does very well with Enyimba then I might start to root for him as a future SE coach. andrew444: You know the matter
Look at them calling Amunike because he took Tanzania to afcon or what
A coach that might end up Collecting egunje while inviting players
I am a rohr fan but I have insulted him recently but you won’t see me calling for ekuke coaches |

You lied Kenya was richer than Ghana. When I then told you about per capita you started foaming in the mouth and you have the guts to be mentioning facts? Yes Kenya's development is limited to two cities because most of the pictures you spam this thread with are from Nairobi and Mombasa which isn't even any better than most modern african cities. whether makoko is powered by generators or solar panels Kenya still has the biggest slums on the continent FACT! I never claimed Nigeria was better than Ghana in terms of electricity infact I've never gone into a debate about which country is better between ourselves. We respect and acknowledge each other knowing they beat us in certain respects just as we beat them in other areas. Same with SA. However you low self esteem loudmouths always shout about how kenya is eldorado. When we present facts that say otherwise you start bitching like a banshee that has rabies. So rafiki you can continue to wallow in your delusional bubble like your country men. Shma2020: You cannot come here with half backed information laced with rantings and expect us to believe you. I know facts are stubborn and they are all over the internet with credible sources displaying the underdeveloped state of your dystopia country .
I hope you're actually not on expired viagras cos you're trying to imagine things that don't exist. Who told you development of a country is determined by two cities? Come on zombie.even a KG kid will not think that way.
And please, speak for your zoo, Nigeria should be the last country to talk when electricity is something to go by, even your precious slum in makoko has no electricity talk less of generators what can your villages have to say?
And Mr, you're 8times Ghana population and Ghana still does well than you, what can you say about that? Since by you, highly populated countries should actually perform better than small populated countries, let's see your logic |

Rohr should sha behave. minfelix: Can you imagine....is it the same Cape Verde I watched against C.A.R yesterday?....we will only have the exclusion of Etebo Iwobi Iheanacho Ndidi Ekong. If we cannot beat Cape Verde at home with at least 1-0 then then super eagles and rohr should just GETAT, we are simply not good then....what will Cape Verde play compare to what we saw Benin rep played in their home |

You are such a cry baby. A little drop of facts and you all up in your feels Sorry development that is lopsided to two cities is not development. Plus development where you still boast the biggest slums on the continent is not something to boast about. In electricity you guys are pathetic incompetent liars. Ghana that you claim to be better than generates more MW than you with a smaller population. South Africa who your delusion compatriots claim they will catch up to generates above 20000 MW with similar population numbers as yours. Rafiki just rest and wait for your leader to return and continue his BS postulations Shma2020: F*ck off with per capita nonsense.
Go and research on total wealth of those two nations and then come back. Per capita is not the only yardstick for measuring a country's total wealth, okay?
In development, it's Ghana, kenya and far Nigeria in that order. I'm not going to repeat this.
In concrete infrastructure, it's kenya, Nigeria then Ghana. If pics are something to go by then you have nothing on ground to yap about.
In electricity, only Ghana can tell as sh*t. Your zoo should first do away with generator before ranting about electricity. The funny thing is that I can give you links for all this but since we've gone through it already, I will not spoon feed a grown up zombie like you. |

Ghana per capita is richer than you I won't go over this again with you why Nigeria's infrastructure surpasses yours people have posted enough evidence Electricity coverage that only covers two cities? Thank God for the night satellite pictures Kazikazi posted that exposed your lie of coverage. Ghana generates about 4-5000 MW for 30m people Kenya generates between 3-3500 MW for 55m people and you want to boast about power? Rafiki please go easy on the changaa. Shma2020: I can easily answer the question.
Ghana is not richer or infrastructurally developed than Kenya as you purportedly said.
Nigeria can't stand kenya in infrastructural development when we go by WB data.
Nigeria too can't stand kenya on electricity coverage. So brother, don't just juggle with statements to please your heart, Speak facts. |
