Seems the Osimhen vs Abraham debate is about to be reignited this season grin may the better striker win.

Apparently Osimhen is not the only Nigerian on Napoli's books. There's a Italian-Nigerian forward called Michael Folorunsho in their ranks. He's about to leave the club though maybe on loan.

Decided to do a potential lineup of players we have available at the moment. Honestly Rohr has no excuse not to be doing better even the second ''weaker'' 11 can still beat some of Africa's best teams if deployed adequately.

lol Goodjoe you get time. Even Shehu Abdullahi that is not everybody's favorite was selected by Stephen Keshi way before our current president. Or is Zaidu Sanusi also quota system? One thing I have learnt bro once someone always argues from a standpoint of agenda and not fact I just excuse myself cus there is no convincing that person.

TheGoodJoe:

No, it is not prime, it was Buhari. As if you don't know he was one of the top Nigerians in Europe while at CSKA Moscow. From that time, his relevance made him one of the longest serving Super Eagles players before the arrival of Buhari. So how do you expect a coach to do away with him like that. Did you not see him at the World Cup?

Kindly remove Kenya from the list of countries you stated. I can't take serious a country that has one of the biggest slums in the world if you doubt me google it.

wayodude:
Hahaha your opinion no doubt.

But Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Botswana, Namibia, Kenya, Mauritius, Seychelles, Cape Verde all these countries and more are miles better than Nigeria in terms of quality of life, economic stability, security of life and property, quality of education and any other metric wen dem take dey measure better thing.

We are giant of Africa though. Na we get sense pass, at least for our mind. And na we Sabi born pass grin

Hi here's another perspective on the matter.

How much do you wanna bet that those unused kits from PUMA will be sold by the higher ups in the Federation?

Nothing is out of the realm of possibility in this country at this point grin grin
Sports › Re: Tokyo Olympics 2021 Live Updates Thread by chrisooblog: 10:37am On Aug 05, 2021
On the bold you are right that we have taken things for granted. South Africa that is outstanding in swimming hasn't had it easy in these games. Kenya and Ethiopia for them it's no longer a birth right they will dominate long distance races.

Nigeria as this olympics has shown has undoubted potential but we are still in the grips of terrible admiration, poor funding and lack of proper grassroot programs to identify potential world beaters.

If Nigeria can get her house in order before 2024 things might improve but it's looking like a hard task.

obaaderemi:
For how long have we been saying this? The Olympics will end and Nigerians will forget about it. Another 3 years time, we will start preparing again few months to the event. Look at the Jamaicans and their ISSA secondary school championship. That's why they do well in track and field.
Africa has failed again at this Olympics. South Africa, Ethiopia and Kenya are struggling in areas where they used to do well. Nigeria did not even qualify for football. I don't see any African country winning above 3 gold medals. Again the worst performing continent at the Olympics by a long chalk. We can do better.

First kudos to you for sharing your story. It's hard, especially in this part of the world to openly talk about your struggles well done.

Please don't get down on yourself too much you are making steady progress just take it day by day. I will encourage and appeal to you to resume your rehab programme because they still have the best tools to help you beat this addiction. Please don't hesitate to express your difficulties beating your addiction with trusted family and friends. Also discuss your frustration with the officials at the rehabilitation place so they can give you advice and tips about how to beat this addiction.

Lastly but no less important don't doubt the power of God to help you beat this. Some people might scoff but I believe in the transformational power of Jesus Christ to give you more strength to overcome.

Wish you all the best Candidlady will be rooting and praying for you.

Candidlady:
As a lady I still find it hard not to do kwaya (drugs). Bad influence I guess or maybe because I saw my dad and his cliques doing it so it rub off on me

Been to rehab couple of times, currently taking a counseling class although I haven't attended for like a week...

I find myself doing it although deep down I don't wanna, but it is something I can't help

Please if anyone is going through this phase or has passed and overcome kindly share your experience to help conquer this war against drugs and alcohol

Thanks

Addiction is real and deadly

The Manchester clubs have thoroughly been had this transfer window. Sancho can even be excused because he comes with a track record from Germany but what has Grealish honestly done to justify his fee? English players get luck sha say the football transfer system is seriously rigged in their favour.

City just want to waste money for no reason

I think we underestimate the impact Covid had on businesses. The Oil sector in which Aiteo is a big player was severely hit. Not that it's an excuse for the NFF because by default they ought to be attracting billions of naira in sponsorship from various companies not just relying on Aiteo or FG.

Ekong to improve while Etebo gets his groove back

Onyeka to have a great season

Onyekuru, Samuel and Ejuke to build some consistency in their game

I'm really happy for Adegoke he really exceeded my expectations making an olympic final at the first time of asking is fantastic. Hope he will be given the necessary support to turn into a world class runner. Honestly if Brume can replicate her form from earlier in the year she will win the gold. Hope nerves don't get the better of her. Amusan also made it to the final but the kind of times I saw her other rivals run in their own semis has me worried if she can get a medal. Hopefully if she repeats or surpasses her personal best she will get it.

JohnBullMySon:
I actually did not follow up on this Brume lady. But now I must say she's a real hope. Adegoke also surprised me. Let's see what he'll put up at the semi finals. Keeping tabs on Amusan as well. They're exceeding expectations.

Yeah the 10 athletes were unlucky they fell victim to the incompetence of some Nigerian athletics officials for Blessing if it's finally confirmed she took that growth hormone then it will be all on her because what she's alleged to have taken can only be administered via injection.

obaaderemi:
It's sad. I feel sorry for some of these athletes. It's usually the fault of their countries' sports administrators that some of them are not tested enough before big events as is the case of the Nigerian athletes.

Most of the banned substances are present in some of the legal medicines they take.

good for his confidence. Want him to be a Lion in the main competitive matches not just in friendly matches of no consequence.

Also like his clinical finishing. I think the manager wants him to reduce his running around and focus on receiving the ball in dangerous spaces.

Ese Brume the high jumper she has one of the leading jumps of the year a Nigerian and African record of 7.17. If she can repeat it she will medal. Amusan in the 100 metre hurdles one of the best in the field she's not the outright favorite but with luck she can medal. The female wrestlers one of them is top ranked in her weight category so there's still a slim chance of medalling

JohnBullMySon:
Please who are the best medal prospects?
