Abohboy: Amount of power given to individuals varies from person to person and from city to city not all places get the same amount of power for example those living in Ndokwa east and Ndoni land get constant 24 hour supply same goes for those living in Bonny Island and parts of Akwa Ibom, rivers and Ondo state also those living in parts of Lekki get constant power Please don't waste your time with him/her. Guy you have time. Didn't even the World bank say their national stats are less reliable than ours? Abohboy: Yemi Kale himself said that he refused to cook data for the government even when threatened with imprisonment so the chance of his figures beiing cooked are very low as for our budget relax that problem will be solved soon more then 95% of Nigerians don't pay income tax when they start to pay it our budget would likely increase by 200% in less then a year and Kenya isn't as good as you claim stop hyping up your country a Nigerian company bought up your premier technology innovation hub and also set up the first innovation hub in Rwanda if Kenya was so big across all sectors in these areas why would Nigerian companies be able to have such an impact? |

They probably need to restrategize how they scout and coach young emerging talent. I think they need to also encourage their more talented players to move to Europe early enough where the competition is keener and fiercer. jihday: apt but it wasn’t always like this, they used to have McCarthy, Nomvete, Zuma, radebe used to be one of the best defenders in the epl mark fish too made his mark in Europe even fortune was a reliable squad member for manutd. I wonder why they suddenly stopped producing decent talents |

I've heard rumours that CAF might copy their counterparts in Europe and allow countries to name 26-man squads for the AFCON. If this turns out to be true then we could potentially take all 5 in-forms strikers that is Osimhen, Iheanacho, Onuachu, Moffi and Sadiq. In case of injuries Dessers and Awoniyi have a shout but for now it's looking unlikely they will make the final squad when the time comes. TheSuperNerd: When did he play his 14th game? Osimhen has 12 caps for the Super Eagles. It should be 13 but the Togo friendly in 2017 isn't considered official.
So it's 7 goals and 6 assists (some say 5) in 12 games with 10 as a starter. So that's that.
Now...
..On Onuachu, ignore those who totally disrespect his football. Lad is busy bagging goals up and down and looking to shatter his goals record from last season yet he isn't appreciated enough. Funny.
People also forget his 3 goals for the Super Eagles have come in only 5 starts out of the 14 caps he has. 5 starts only and rightly so too because there is Osimhen as undisputed first choice.
I believe we can rate and praise the abilities of our other strikers in here like Sadiq umar, Moffi, Onuachu and any other without using one to talk down the other. Each have their unique qualities. What one lacks, the other may have. And there are also a few shared characteristics among them.
And to anyone who don't rate Onuachu, you are wasting your time because he will be at the Afcon next year as one of the 3-4 Strikers. That one is 100% guaranteed. And he is showing the kind of form that justifies that inevitable decision. Also, what he brings as a genuine targetman should not be underestimated one bit.
For instance, his aerial prowess is huge. Has won 71% of aerial battles in the league so far this season (3.6 per game). Throughout last season he won 55% of aerial battles averaging 4 aerial duels won per game. Comparatively, Osimhen has won 50% of aerial duels this season (1.4 per game) + 42% last season (1.9 per game) while Sadiq has won 53% aerial duels this season so far (2.9 per game) + 36% last season (0.9 aerials per game).
So, Onuachu is a fine and different option to have on our NT bench especially when we wanna go intensive route-one or use Simon's crossing on the wings - up top with another striker if need be.
People should rather appreciate the varieties of Strikers we boast instead of talking some up over the others or some down under the others. Finito. |

I'm not Onuachu's biggest fan but the kind of disrespect he gets on this streets is really baffling Guy over the past 2 seasons has been arguably the most consistent Nigerian goal scorer at club level. Saying his style will not allow him play in any of the big leagues is at best speculation. andrewbaba44: Please don’t make this look like comparison between osimhen and onuachu at first .
Onuachu needs to move to a top league for sure but spare me this crap talk ,maybe onuachu needs to score 6 goals in all competition at the start of the league for you to rate him ?
Is it not same onuachu that dusted many European strikers at the European golden shoe rankings?
The more you criticize onuachu the more you he will keep giving you new narrative to talk about
Bro you are in for a long season ,onuachu fit make your tears full basket this season oo |

This is very unfair on Onuachu. Should he shed blood on the field before you acknowledge that he's talented in his own right? Scoring 30 goals in any league is nothing to sneeze at so just appreciate the man first. You are entitled to prefer Sadiq but this habit of pitting one player against another to promote your favorite is not right. When the time is right Sadiq will get his time in the sun. Philosopher1979: Onuachu is sheer rubish. He is too technically limited for modern football. This is why big teams are not too eager to sign him. Football is about your style of play sometime s. It might sound some how to you but Sadiq Umar is ten times better. Onuachu cannot even make a simple pass. Forget about him |

Ghana is currently in danger of not qualifying for the world cup so their action is understandable. That said the guy they hired has been jobless for a very long time so I don't know what miracle they want him to perform. ChrisKels: Ghana has reappointed Milo Rajevac to help turn around their fortunes, though they don't have much quality talents. TheSuperNerd: Another day, Another Osimhen Brace plus an Osimhen special gesture to Yours sincerely
Another Commanding Center forward Performance from My Man, Victor Osimhen. Superb showing. He could have bagged a hattrick infact. He could have done better in one or two other instances of play but it's okay, there are many more games to play and more goals to come for the Monster Machine.
Lots of positives in his display. A Center Forward with Mad Presence and Dynamic movements across the lentgh and width of the final third.
Another thing to be excited for is the variety in Osimhen's goals so far. He's done the Poacher's goal, the Aerial presence Goal, the fox in the box Goal, the battering ram Goal crowned with technique....
He is a striker who will find the net via any angle or any means. Not your regular tap-in merchant Striker. Victor will give you an all round performance plus the goals. This is one of the things that stand him out and I hope he continues to improve greatly and eventually write his name into the history books of the beautiful game.
Now, away from his performance on the field (his battleground for Glory), I wanna share a little something on his "off-the-field" performance....
Folks, Ladies and Gentlemen.... it is with great pleasure and honor that I show you the gift that Our Super Eagles Number 9, Victor Osimhen sent me recently.
A day after his Europa League heroics, Osimhen got in touch with me again through an associate of his and he eventually messaged me on Sunday (3 days after his World Class display against Leicester) after I had thanked him via Instagram chats.
He sent me one of his Top Original Napoli jerseys. Yes, you read that right. An Osimhen-delivered Napoli Jersey.
It came as a huge surprise because I was just in Cloud 9 for him and smiling at all the reactions of the British media because I knew after a performance like that, those reactions were inevitable. And in the middle of all that noise and praises, one of the first things he does is to contact me and send me a Jersey with room for more ofcos.
Note: I have had it since Tuesday but I decided to wait till after today's game to finally share it because I knew he would be on the scoresheet again.
I guess He's becoming Inevitable with every moment he gets on to the pitch.
In conclusion, believe me when I say emphatically that We have a great lad in Victor Osimhen. Not just a great player in the making. But a fantastic human with a great heart, a focused mind and a passionate spirit. And I have a thing for Serious Outlier talents. Talents that are generational. This is part of why I am a strong believer in the Crazy and Madly Exciting Limitless Talents of Victor James Osimhen. The Benin Boy From Olusosun.
Further Note: For more pics and a Vid, check my twitter. NL won't permit me to load more pics. Site says it's too large.
Just wanted to share this special moment/gesture with you. Osimhen sends his love to all Naija fans as well.... Good evening y'all Nice one Doc! Least you deserve for all your support online and offline to our potential great. Honestly when I remember in the beginning when things weren't so rosy that I and other notable posters like yourself stuck out our necks believing in Osimhen we were mocked and called delusional but see how God works? Pray Victor continues to stay fit and healthy so he can deliver on his promise. Accolades Doc! |

Obviously he should work hard at improving that aspect of his game but I think like with everything else in life he should just be the best at what he's good at. He has great pace, he's good in the air and can be better. Has great dynamic movement which he should utilize more but more importantly he has the mindset of not being satisfied with being second best. Drogba and Lukaku have/had poor areas in their game but what stood them out is they made sure they maximized optimally those things they are great at. nairalandankrah: Victor osimhen's weakness in tight spaces worries me.. Is this something that can be improved upon? |

If Emmanuel Dennis and that Tanzanian dude forgotten his name could move straight to EPL with lesser performances then there's no reason Onuachu shouldn't have moved. I think between his club and agent somebody missed a trick. andrewbaba44: Cr7 and Messi made people think that to score at Laliga is easy ,players are now scoring more in the epl this days more Than Laliga
Onuachu might just repeat such again

Fatality rates vary from country to country. The 1% figure you are banding about is for the whole world cumulatively but the fact of the matter is some nations are harder hit than others that is the situation with SA, but you are mischievously trying to claim that other countries have experienced high number of deaths with your only evidence being testing which doesn't necessarily equal to causation. America experienced about 500000 plus covid deaths last year so because 1% of a population dies from it's normal for half a million to die in a year? Even the Boko Haram insurgency as horrible as it has been for Nigeria hasn't cumulatively killed that number let alone within a year. jl115: jeez people!!!! Do you guys even read my posts? Covid has a 1% fatality rate, the number of deaths by natural causes has barely budged compared to pre covid levels.....
My point is if we look at tests to deaths ratio then most of Africa would have similar case and death numbers as South Africa |
