This guy you have come again parroting what a lot of uninformed posters have said without a single source proving such wild claims. Supernerd a trained medical professional has explained ad nauseum that there is no proof yet that lack of nutrition leads to late formation of the wrist bone in teenage boys but you still insist on this line of thought to back up your bias. If you post any medical study backing your claims I would gladly retract this post but until then I will take your statement as made up hear say. darkelf: thesupernerd

With due respect to Papilo which pivotal role did he play in Arsenal's league wins in 2001/2002 & 2003/2004? Cos from the records for the former he only scored 3 goals in 23 matches and 1 goal in10 for the former. Plus Victor Ikpeba won the Ligue 1 title with Monaco in 1996/1997. Largebanned2: when osimehn wins the league the this or next weekend (Extremely likely) he will become Nigeria second all time striker Export below Kanu. Yes it's an exaggeration that he would cost that much but then again if average talents today are being bought for ridiculous amounts like $90-100m I see no reason why a generational talent like Okocha won't command a far higher amount. Remember at his peak JJ was bought for an African record. How much do you think it will cost to break the record for an African transfer? Danielnino00: So, there's a trending news item on social media where Okocha said in an interview that he'd be worth €150m in today's transfer market... Do you guys agree with him?

OasisX: Impressive feat however the bold has some characteristics of lamba IMHO.
Overall Oyetola did well to steady the ship of Osun State after the spendomania of Aregbe's tenure.
What I think affected Oyetola was his lack of effective PR and lack of charisma. Going by most unbiased takes I've read he ran a tight ship despite lack of financial resources available to him but I guess the people just wanted something different.
Oyetola doubled Osun iGR from ₦10b to ₦20b in 4years despite EndSars and Covid Crises. This earned Osun an Award of Excellence for being the “TOP” performer on Domestic Revenue Mobilisation.
He was also awarded the Best Governor on Efficiency of Public Expenditure by the World Bank’s States’ Fiscal Transparency, Accountability, and Sustainability (SFTAS).
On record, his Administration didn’t borrow a dime and still serviced debts inheritted from his Predecessors.
He constructed/renovated 322 Primary Health Care Centres, one in each ward. He upgraded State Hospital at Asubiaro by building 120-bed Ward, New Children Ward, a surgical Ward, a Trauma Centre, a blood bank building and 30 Units of Doctors' Quarters.
He also renovated General Hospital at Ifetedo and Ejigbo. His Achievements transcend Roads constructions only. |

In theory I think it should because most of the dollars we use in our fx reserves for imports are directed mostly at petroleum products. Self sufficient local refining however will be the ultimate solution at helping reduce the exchange rate in the short term. @Ibime and other economists in the house what's your take on floating the naira? Is it a policy that any serious forward thinking government should be adopting? Itsrm: Will subsidy removal lead to further fall in the Naira to dollar rate? And this is all going down in a capital city - what is usually the last place to fall in situations like this
Evacuation will be a military operation. The level of coordination required for a successful evacuation pass naija special forces
Find an airstrip or landing zone. Land one of those galaxy/starlifter/hercules cargo planes there and hope it is not detected
Deploy vehicles to evacuate the students (who are not in a single location) .
Get all students safely to landing zone.

You're 100% right. There's this aura that follows big teams whether club or international football they always seem to know how to grind out results in competitions whether or not they have exceptional players. Yesterday was a typical example. Man for man Napoli edge AC Milan but the spirit of the Rossoneri was too resolute Baresi and Maldini would be proud. elyte89: He knows d angle I am coming from…no matter aw good a Togo team is,if we get to meet in a semifinal nations cup match,I am 70percent sure we will edge over dem cos of d “experience” of playing in dt stage over Togo who haven’t played in such a tense match b4.
Looking at yday match,u will notice Milan wasn’t dt spectacular, but what kept going for them was dt “experience “ as a club playing in such a big tense stage…let d match extend till 190minutes,Milan will still come out victorious |

This particular incident is why I smile when I hear or read some political analysts complain that Nigeria's problems is our 'faulty' constitution whereas reality suggests it's the criminal mindedness of our politicians that don't allow straight forward laws to work . Back to the Adamawa matter I expect INEC to declare the person who scored the highest votes most likely Fintiri the winner. Binani has really spoilt her credibility for me. She should have just taken her L while raising dust which would have attracted sympathy and support from Adamawa stakeholders. Itsrm: At the time, it did seem like a good idea. I know I was very much in support of him signing it. I also don't think that these things are necessarily blunders.
Let's look at the aspect of the electoral law that Binani is trying to exploit. It makes sense that if the RO is unable to announce results due to illness, accident or any other reason, then someone else can be delegated to do it on his behalf.
I believe those who put them had good intentions but our criminal politicians are exploiting it. Of course, I may be wrong. It could also be that the holes were deliberately planted and hidden in fine print |

You have chosen to unsee the part where I said Abraham and Lukaku haven't been great this season abi is it Tuchel that is also coaching them at Roma and Inter? Don't use one player's struggle to judge how well another player will do. komekn: Your clearly haven't watched and or listened to the complaints Lukaku made concerning Tuchel. Lukaku has been consistently oustanding since he was 16. He has done it everwhere he has gone. He is absolutely a world class striker.
The season preceding Tuchel arrival Tega was Chelsea top goal scorer with 15 goals. He was dropped without any chance to compete , given barely any game time. Nineteen, he Tega Abraham still had the highest number of goals from open play.
Tega has not had good season but last season he scored 17 goals in his first season in Seria A

Little Messi The MRI tests for the 2009 set were conducted randomly for 3 players I think can't remember the exact number. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2009/oct/22/fifa-under-17-world-cup-age-testHowever from 2013 I think FIFA made it mandatory for every single player to be tested. NFF and CAF also do their compulsory tests for everyone before competitions. That's how the generation of Iheanacho, Ndidi, Osimhen came to the fore. I can't put my hand on my heart and say Osimhen didn't trim his age but the MRI testing of a thing has only ensured that he has a wiggle room of 2 maybe 3 years. Plus anecdotes from his life story suggest he was barely out of secondary school before he joined the u17 camp. raumdeuter: That MRI thing, I dunno how they do it and pass sha cos it seems all dem Stanley Okoro set used MRI too
See this newspaper article in 2009 claiming Stanley set passed MRI and they are genuine U17
Now read the below from a thread on NL
Osimehn will be priced like a 24yr old, Napoli signed him for like 70-80M, with his form he will be going for about 120M. if we are getting just 3 yrs out of him meaning he will already be downhill by age 28 when other strikers are hitting their prime
With how Mane dey claim 31yr old scam us we need to be careful with Osimehn |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by chrisooblog: 1:08pm On Apr 13, 2023 |
As for age tax his u17 set used MRI testing so the max he could probably cut off from his real is 2-3 years max which could put him around 26/27 now. I went further to check his registered height then compared to now and he grew taller albeit marginally so if Bayern decides to sign him you will enjoy 3 good years at least. raumdeuter: Osimehn is a good striker big strong, good aerially and can pass. The only concern is the amount of tax on his age. If his real age is under or over 30 |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by chrisooblog: 12:57pm On Apr 13, 2023 |
The setup in Bayern is not the same as Chelsea so it's presumptuous to say Tuchel will deploy similar tactics. Aubameyang a top 9 striker flourished under Tuchel at Dortmund so please dead that he can't use a point man agenda. Tammy and Lukaku haven't been consistent enough to figure in Tuchel's plans. Abraham since his move to Roma hasn't exactly set the league on fire so maybe Tuchel knows something an armchair analyst like yourself doesn't. Lukaku is a strange one because Tuchel gave him all the chances to succeed but his poor run of goal scoring form was too hard to ignore. Plus his rant to the Italian press at the time didn't do him any favours. Osimhen has other qualities different from Abraham and Lukaku so it's premature to say he will struggle under Tuchel when you don't know for sure how Victor will be used at Munich. komekn: When Tuchel was at Chelsea and made a complete hash of things, he did not play with a traditional number 9.
There was more of an interrelationship, with the frony three interchanging positions and acting as inverted wingers.
He placed greater emphasis on Ziyech, Werner and Havertz. It didn't make sense to me.
He promptly benched the previous season top goal scorer Tega Abraham of which after playing the barest of minimum minutes was still the clubs top goal scorer from open play.
But what was even more disturbing was how he treated a proven tested world class striker in the name of Lukaku. His treatment of Lukaku was shambolic and Lukaku openly disagreed with Tuchel. Tuchel preferred to play Kai as a false number 9 instead of playing Lukaku.
Now consider Tega and Lukaku big strong fast strikers, albeit Tega the more technical of the two. See how Tuchel rubbished them. V.O. has more similarities with Lukaku and Tega than differences.
It's in this light I would not advise V.O. to go to Bayern. It may all turn into sour grapes in a very short time.
If V.O. was going to Borussiay Dortmund that would be a much better fit in my opinion for VO. |
