If the coaching crew want to invite him for March qualifiers no wahala. Personally I like observing a player for a couple of months before jumping headlong to invite him to be sure his form is not a flash in the pan. In the past they have been so many instances we called up a player after a few good performances in his club only for him to disappoint in the SE.

elyte89:
What makes it too soon? We just like unnecessary delay ,if his form is better Dan what we have at d moment, den he shld b invited..besides we re playing against a Guinea Bissau in a nations cup qualifier we are already topping d group,it’s not as if we re playing a last World Cup qualifying match were we need d so called “experience” players😀

Yeah Taiwo is injured. Should be on his way back soon.

The head of player recruitment at Forest is really out of control. The only positive from this all over the place approach has been the purchase of a few decent players like Kevlar Navas from PSG.

If I may ask how many players These useless notthingham forest buy ?

Even after Jordan ayew ,this people known Wetin dem Dey do so ?

Won’t even talk of taiwo Dennis and lingard self ,is taiwo currently injured ?

Saw his goal over the weekend excellent finish. Definitely one to keep an eye on.

Invite for the March AFCON qualifiers could be too soon but if he keeps up with his fine form he might get his first call up in September unless we have a friendly in between now and then.

Olopa lo ma ko evribody las las based on some of the results I've seen on the IREV portal. In a PU in Abia state a presiding officer signed the result sheet for all the agents no surprises for guessing the party with the highest score.

Chief on this same thread various posters including myself have said how players like Moffi and Iheanacho are better finishers than Osimhen but his consistency and determination trumps them all.

Even in this last game that Blueelf is using to catch cruise Osimhen unluckily hit the bar o!

Like you rightly said Victor hasn't hit his peak yet but his finishing is most definitely improving season by season, year by year, game by game.

jihday:
sure he needs to continue improving he hasn’t even hit his peak yet so he must constantly seek for ways to get better, but saying stuff like he’s not prolific enough or he’s not technical enough is just gibberish at best

Don't mind him as if every good striker doesn't miss chances. As long as he scores more often than he misses then he's on the right track.

You're right the numbers are too damn poor. That said technology has really helped to reduce the inflated numbers from the past. Before you will hear of and see low voter turnout only to hear the winner had 2 million plus votes SMH.

Well he's the one that made the claim so he would have to provide it. However on second thoughts you're right that he was trying to be clever by half using 'whatsapp video' to give himself plausible deniability.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by chrisooblog: 9:00am On Mar 04, 2023
Chief I just watched the interview again you made the mistake like other commentators of assuming it's the same Ruth person Ajuri was referring to. In the interview he said the lady with her left eye swollen shut. You can be 100% sure if it was Ruth he mentioned Zain would have instantly called him out because CNN very publicly covered the story.

[quote author=BlueRayDick post=121455298]Is this the Ajuri Video they’ve been yapping about ?

Ajuri was clearly lieing here and nobody is even calling it out. Guy man said Ruth Efidi was stabbed in the eye in the south east where Peter Obi won. Omo ! shocked

Ruth Efidi was stabbed by thugs at her polling unit in Surulere ,Lagos and Jandor of PDP has even visited her in her home afterwards.

Why do these people find it convenient to tell lies in broad daylight unprovoked ?

Just did a rough sample search of the Obio/Akpor votes uploaded on the IREV portal it's too obvious that Wike over cooked the votes. The few results I've seen show the Labour party winning clearly. Rivers will most likely be cancelled in favour of Obi but that's about the best he can get I think.

Actually he has no choice because he has to keep his base motivated and galvanized. Had he conceded he would lose all momentum like air slowly draining out of a balloon.

Should he lose at the courts his supporters would simply say 'we told you so Nigerian judiciary has been bought' keeping him looking strong for the next election cycle.

I'll be keenly watching next weeks election to see if he can extend that popularity to his governorship candidates.

The disorganization is mind boggling and this is coming from the same people that boasted they had 200k plus agents because a party aligned with them before the elections.

They should also be careful because as they are gathering evidence you can be sure APC is collating there own and if there's any political experience in Nigeria has thought me Tinubu and his men don't go into any battle without being highly prepared.

Gbam! once UK & US don acknowledge your win matter don end. Probably why Atiku and Obi haven't said anything yet. It will be hard to appeal to international community when them don recognize winner.

Ibime:
Chimamanda should leave this to the numbers men who can prove fraud with numbers from PU to collation. This is not Nobel prize for literature, writing paragraphs upandan, appealing to emotions with little quantitative substance. International community only understand numbers when it comes to election fraud. How many votes were stolen, how many people died in the violence she alleged etc

Once Rishi Sunak (Colonial master) congratulates Asiwaju, the matter is over. That's like France congratulating Ivory Coast President or USA congratulating Panama or Liberia President. Nobody go chook mouth for the matter again. Colonial powers respect each other's jurisdiction.

Are you we're not overestimating Obi's ability to transfer his popularity to other candidates on a different election day like Buhari in 2011?

Doing united parapo to vote for your candidate against a perceived mutual is different from local politics o. Case in point Obi won Edo but APC claimed the lions share of Senate & HOR positions. Apart from party their are a lot of strong candidates in the individual states and it will take more Obi's grace to favour you.

Words on marble

chrisooblog:
Now this is a narrative I feel I have to correct. People have been voting out unpopular or incompetent leadership now for a while now but we have just chosen to not to see it to drive the narrative "people should realise they have the power" talk.

2003 a school teacher with barely a kobo to his name defeated Kwankwaso a whole sitting governor of Kano.

Peter Obi too beat the incumbent PDP that year.

2007 that was the worst 'election' in Nigeria's history Oshiomhole, Aregbesola and Fayemi still garnered enough votes that wuruwuru couldn't stop them from claiming their mandates.

2015 Buhari beat an incumbent.

2019 Saraki a whole Senate president lost against a rookie politician in his domain even with the support of the governor of his state who was PDP.

2020 Edo no be Lagos mantra that humbled Oshiomhole.

So if Peter Obi doesn't win it's because he didn't do enough to convince the generality of people not any people discovering whatever gist.

APC is there for the taking but the forces that should have aligned for now and worried about sharing the spoils later might just hand the APC an 'undeserved' victory at the polls.
