For real? na wa o. Bameyi? The same one I've been watching? I'm tempted to concur with your opinion that it is PR cos the guy hasn't really impressed me that much except with his physicality.

Thank God Benjamin is getting his deserved spotlight.

Kudos to you doc and other like minded Nigerians for putting Jacek straight.

TheSuperNerd:
This is good but you need to see the knocks we gave Jacek Kulig on Twitter before he finally made this post.

Initially Jacek was talking up Bameyi as the best defensive talent on the Nigerian U20 team but a few others on twitter and I rubbished his assessment calling it for what it is. A dishonest poorly researched scouting work.

Jacek compared Bameyi to Cesar Azpilicueta. It was ridiculous.

We let him know that there are other far better defensive talents on this Nigerian team yet he chose to focus on Bameyi like some other scout accounts were doing coordinatively before the U20 WC started as if it was a paid PR work or something.

The man argued, finally we have been proven right.

The lesson here is don't take these scouts 100% seriously. Some of them are paid to give publicity to certain players even though they will still talk about the genuine talented ones.

On our Nigerian U20 team, we literally Schooled him into submission.

Benjamin Fredrick featured by talent scout.

Definitely a potential future SE defensive stalwart.

Hope the national team handlers keep serious tabs on him.

Roaring success and you can't pay civil servants salaries please get out.

Mkenya2019:
Ruto is already a roaring success 8 months only.

Agriculture:
" In keeping with our commitments in the agricultural sector, we have registered 5 million farmers nationwide. These farmers immediately became eligible to receive subsidised fertiliser, and those who stepped forward received their full fertiliser requirement unlike in past seasons when the allocations were rationed. As a result of these measures, Kenyan farmers have been able to plant 200,000 additional acres of food this year and used 2 million more kilogrammes of seed."

Hustler Fund:

"The total number of Hustler Fund digital transactions now stands at 42.5 million through which 20.2 million Kenyans have accessed nearly KSh30 billion, and repaid KSh19.7 billion, with 7 million being repeat customers. Not a single shilling has been stolen through corruption, and borrowers do not need to know anyone, bribe any official or go through complex bureaucratic procedures to access the Hustler Fund. They only need a device, a little airtime and a few minutes, and they are able to get money wherever they are."

Hired 35,000 more teachers

" We have also employed 35,000 teachers in a historic and unprecedented drive to improve the national teacher:pupil ratio and enhance performance. Additionally, we are re-designing the competence-based education curriculum to make it responsive to our education needs at this point of our social, cultural and economic development. Finally, the National Open University will obtain its charter in the course of this month and as we speak, courses are being uploaded for commissioning."

Housing Fund that will make slums disappear - 1 million house to be constructed by creating millions jobs

" Our vision for the Affordable Housing Programme is premised on the economic objective of creating a million direct and indirect employment opportunities throughout every value chain in the housing development ecosystem. A single housing unit is capable of employing 3-5 workers directly, and an additional 8 workers indirectly, in the manufacturing of construction products, transport and logistics."

Okadas
“I HAVE good news for my boda boda friends. Beginning September, you will access motorcycles that don’t use fuel; they will instead be charged using electricity.”

Health care - 100,000 community health promoters to be hired

" We have collaborated with county governments to recruit community health promoters (CHP) throughout the country in such numbers as will make available one promoter for every 100 households. This means that each promoter will be tasked with visiting Kenyans at their homes to determine whether any conditions need to be managed through healthier lifestyle or basic medical attention. They will also be tasked with enabling patients with chronic conditions manage their medication, diet and general well-being in a manner that makes hospitalisation unnecessary. Finally, the promoters will facilitate early detection of conditions for referral to comprehensive attention in the spirit of effective healthcare management."

All 7,000 gov service to be digitized - in 8 months - 5,000 done in six month!!!

"Since the advent of e-Citizen, government gradually increased the number of services available on the platform to 391. The rate of increase of on-boarded services is now shifting to a new radical trajectory. Today, 3,570 services have been onboarded, and we expect 5,000 services to be online by the end of this month. Our ambition is to offer every government service on the e-Citizen platform by the end of 2023."

Not just Palestine alone. Israel has a long history with many Arab countries in their region due to the frequent wars (six-day war, Yom Kippur war, Lebanon civil war etc) they have fought with them which has generated bad blood in addition to the apartheid like treatment of the Palestinians. Arab nations typically avoid diplomatic and sporting relations with Israel but why that has expanded to some other non-Arab but muslim countries like Indonesia I can't say.

MetalJigsaw:
Is the conflict a kind of oppression towards Palestine?

Because I'm curious as to why it's all Islamic countries that despise them.

Please don't sound obtuse! Isn't it because he's now with the Inter first team squad that we're now talking about him?

Plus I said POTENTIAL which every reasonable person who read my post understood but your agenda tinted mind just would not allow you to reason that way.

komekn:
Did you say ANYTHING about him Akinsanmiro being called up to the inter squad ❓so then how did I ignore what you have not written anything about.

Anyways Wow !!! How many games has he played for the first Team please ❓

As a generational Talent at 18 he is not too young of EXCEPTIONAL.

All this shalaye and you completely ignored the part that he has been called up to the senior Inter squad barely five months after arriving Italy to the extent he was included in the squad that won the coppa italia and given a medal. Inter won't give some ordinary youngster the privilege if he wasn't something special.

komekn:
Curiosity made me watch the video clip and the huge claim, " generational Talent" that's a massive statement to make

At best short clip videos are indicative not conclusive. But with regards to youth football videos even more so. He is playing in the U21 or 18's and from that you make that very generous deduction.

According to his bio Akinsanmiro started playing for Remo stats in 2020 , helping them to qualify for the NPFL in season,2020/21

We are in 2023 he is still only 18 so he started playing first team at 15 it seems, that's remarkable if not questionable.

Is he one for the future SE only time will tell.

I expect a so called " Generational Talent" to be playing at 18 with men not his teenage mates . Then you can see the real potential, to make such a HUGE CLAIM.

Let me compare him to Tim Iroegbunam who is 19 without question and started playing at 17 for Aston villa and is now on loan at QPR. Has played 32 games in the Championship before injury this season.

Below a YouTube clip look of Time Iroegbunam playing with men and dominating with skill, anticipation, athletic ability , and precision passing in the championship. But nobody calls him generational Talent. That is even with multiple clubs seeking to sign him .

If I say I'm not massively impressed I would be lying. Looks like a potential generational talent.

Even though everyone looks world class on youtube highlights the video clips gives me a fair idea of what Akin is all about as a player. At this age he's already showing a maturity and calmness on the ball beyond his years.

Love that he looks press resistant, has good technical ability, fantastic turn of pace and decent passing. No wonder he's been included in the Inter first team lately.

Hope Inzaghi gives him decent playing time in their last game of the season.

However is the coach of the SE should glue his eyes to this boy.

I understand the logic why subsidy has to go but managing the fall out is what has always bothered me. Can Tinubu afford to have his economy getting shutdown by labour strikes for weeks? Plus it's hypocritical to have resisted and attacked Jonathan for the same removal you now want to implement.

A001:
Don't get your hopes up about the incoming BAT government, bro. If it's actually true BAT has removed the petrol subsidy without even giving Nigerians some time to prepare for the tough times ahead, then people will wish Buhari was still the president as woeful as the outgoing administration is.

I hope it's not true BAT will remove the subsidy in this manner even after NUPENG warned him not to take that step hurriedly.

No doubt the banditry and herdsman situation worsened under Buhari but it will be disingenuous to say the Boko Haram situation hasn't improved under PMB. Remember how we were all scared to go to public places? Bombs going off in churches, mosques and bus parks.

Below is the terrorism report from 2012 to 2022 abi is the institute for economy and peace also dishing out APC propaganda?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_Terrorism_Index

larride:
Security is not static. Insecurity is always ever changing with new dynamics. What Buhari met when he came was a country that Boko Haram as almost on its knee with some LG in control of these terrorist. That is no more.

Now the insecurity challenges has taken new dimensions with killers herdsman, kidnappers and bandits going on a spree leaving the security forces almost helpless.

Did Buhari handled the boko haram crisis better than he met it? Yes. Did he handle the crisis that ballooned during his tenure? No.

And buying military hardwares are actually important, if most of Buhari predecessors actually invested in the military as much as Buhari did, our capacity to confront these multiple threats would've been mightily increased. A military that was defunded cannot respond to multiple threats in different fonts.

Overall on security, Buhari did his best, reduced the hold of boko haram on the country but failed to nip rampaging fulani herdsman and bandit in the bud but with his military hardware acquisitions, hopefully PBAT will be able to tackle these security challenges and those that spring up during his tenure.

According to the Ethiopian Air CEO they have a 49% controlling share so to all intents and purposes it should (emphasis on should) be privately run. FG has 5% I've forgotten now who controls the other 46%.

But in all honesty I don't know if it's the right deal. Maybe an aviation expert on this thread could shed more light.

To be fair as much as social media has nuisance value you can't underestimate it's power to bring attention to an issue. Whether it will bring a resolution to the said issue is another debate entirely.

raumdeuter:
The way some people believe in this social media thing and every case its straight to social media

You have an issue with your boss or colleague sitting in the next office - Straight to Social media
You have an issue with your spouse sitting or sleeping next to you - Straight to social media

What attention were you hoping to gain from social media beyond shaming the person publicly? Aside massaging your ego and getting e-likes and retweets from your e-friends who mostly cannot help you

Of course you know certain monikers are very un-objective whose posts are always tinged with sentiments and emotive bias.

Maddison has performed better based on the number of goals if we compare it strictly with seasons that Eze was fit and healthy. James has an FA Cup title to his name. Save for this season has been part of a Leicester side that hasn't finished below 10th in 3 or 4 seasons but he's enjoying white privilege tongue

lovewins:
What exactly has Eberechi Eze achieved to earn that? To suggest he's not being celebrated because if his skin colour is being disingenuous.

Eze has battled with injury for the most part. He's also not had the sweetest ride club wise. He obviously has enormous potentials, but this season is probably the first time he's having close to an above average season performance. The Madison you cited has just 2 England caps at 27, and he's obviously had a more sterling career than Eze. Same applies to mount who until recently was one of the best for Chelsea. Saka and Rashford are examples of black players who have been rewarded and rightly so.
