He is indirectly saying he never supported their course... He should come out openly and let us know. #endBadGovernanace |
#EndSARS we global now... Nairaland through Seun abeg also #EndNwaAmaikpe ban, abi na 600 years. He has always wanted things like this for Naija, it's time we also here from him. |
This is commendable, when succeeding governments learn to bottle up their grudge for the predecessors like this then Nigeria's level of development will be pushed up. Beautiful market by the way, I hope a private facility management firm will be contracted to maintain the facilities because our maintenance culture for public facilities in this country is so low. |
Rocksvibes234:But the grandstand in these pictures, will it be demolished to make way for the one in the prototype, or will be built upon. Because from the design that grandstand is not part of it. |
Rocksvibes234:If they put what's on that rendering to reality then Mehn, Obiano should also be aiming to host the Super Eagles in Awka. |
Hackers pass hackers mehn! This #Annoymous guy just smiled after his first post that they will hear from him and now this? It's just wow! I thought we are badass in hacking but alas. |
Samorobo2:We lack preservative culture in this part of the world |
They don't know that Nigerians are defiant people... They should keep pushing us to the wall! |
oneeast:Hold your peace Mr, I am not here for your back and forth arguement. |
Away from Mkstinks rhetorics, let's discuss something more pressing. Won't it be nice if Obiano at least cut the sod for the construction of the proposed new Three Arm Zone (TAZ) before bowing out honourably? then the succeeding government can complete it. I don't know if the proposed TAZ would be located in the new Awka Millennium City or around that area; it will be nice if it's around that area juxtaposing AMC though. Anambra as a state needs a better structure as a government house than what she is currently occupying and a state assembly complex for her current growing national status. The present assembly complex is a defect for that status. Some states have embarked on such projects and are already making use of them, of notable mentions are Delta, Bayelsa, and Ebonyi states. Dalu nu! |
The whole drama is akin to Buhari's handling us in Nigeria. He took his vow of fidelity to always be with us alone (I am for nobody ) but went behind our back to woo and court other mistresses from Saudi-arabia down to Maradi in Niger republic while neglecting us the faithful wives. The only difference is that this zambian woman found out in time and botched the husbands attempt but here, Bubu's philandering skills is still on full throttle , a smart husband he thinks of himself ![]() The youths are waking up gradually sha. |
If it's true then kudos to the well meaning Nigerians who lends their voices to the #endSARS campaign and to everyone the world over who in one way or the other also lend their voices. It's a global village after all! |
mktinsight:You just posted a spurious article that discredits Bayelsa airport to caress your ego, as ridiculous as the report is, it even termed Enugu airport which has been in existence far before the conception of Bayelsa as a state; A NEW AIRPORT. So funny, to buttress your weak point you had to quote a report that started talking about the idea of the airport for the state in late 2012 as the year when the construction of the airport started. Please give up already. |
mktinsight:How many years did it take Bayelsa state to construct her airport, even after some hitches and glitches here and there? ditto: Jigawa state. |
mktinsight:Because Ebonyi is the poorest state in the region doesn't mean she doesn't have well off individuals who will utilize that airport. Stop making some wild claims and fantasy generalizations, it doesn't portray you as someone upright. |
Honestly, I am enjoying what I am seeing and reading about Anambra lately, I just pray the zeal to develop keeps burning in us; umuigbo. Obiano did a yeoman's job with ANSIPPA and the results have been commendable. I can't wait for the east to have a cosmopolitan 'city-state' like Singapore, or maybe Lagos. #lovefromEnugu |
Well, never had physical confrontation or brawl with any of my roommates except for little misunderstanding which we normally settles after except for one guy... |
Nothing surprises me anymore about this government that derives joy in inconvenienting their people. That was how they were planning to push us all to bank for another so called enrolment even after BVN. The lecturers shouldn't worry, they will still come back to clarify or debunk this news. |
The building has been abandoned for years now. What baffles me is why they are still leaving those blocks of flats to rot, if the Ziks family can no longer manage it, the school or government should leased or concessioned to private individuals to properly manage it which will go a long way in cushioniong the effect of inadequate accomodations in the den. Charlse Igwe, this is time for you to turn around the den infrastructure wise, especially being the first super lion to be at the helm of affairs of that great institution. |
May his reign be peaceful and long. |
hrykanu231:Wow! Coincidentally, that my friend's other name is also Earnest ![]() |
Mine was quite hilarious , I had always despise calculations so much since my secondary school days which made me to opt for the course I studied (not knowing the course also deals with calculations in a quite elaborious manner ).Got to my department for the first time, went to our secretary office and introduced myself as a new student, he welcomed me and told me to go and copy the time table at the notice board outside. Got to the notice board, not knowing how course codes work, I copied everything from first year to almost final year till a student in his penultimate class (he later u became the departmental president) saw me and asked me if I am a new student, I answered in affirmative, he directed me to a class that my mates are already having a lecture, I was tensed and didn't know how to proceed. Mustered courage and excused myself into the class, lo and behold, my first lecture was Statistics (another calculations). In my mind, I was like I don fail be this ooo! the whole process was just like an exorcism session. I was just there staring at the board looking at how the lecturer was just doing her stuff. Before she ended her lecture, she looked at us, seeing that the whole process looks confusing to us, she made herself open to us, telling us to feel relaxed, admonished us and told us to always approach her when we find any challenges. Immediately after the lecture, I went to her, instead of telling her my fear, I told her that I am stranded , because I was petrified (stranded maybe in calculation xanadu). She looked at me coded my message, talked to me like a friend and told me that I shouldn't be scared that I will make it well. After that semester results came out and lo and behold, your boy made an A in that course, thanks to that lecturer and a special thanks to my best friend (Wisdom), who made the whole calculation process look and feel so easy, and made me fall in love with calculation. On the other hand, the course that I was expecting and enphantic A in, failed me woefully. It was like a mirage how I failed that course but the good thing is that when I went for its resit, I didn't just make an A but also made the best result in the sequential course of that same course. ![]() #back in the den of lions and lionesses. |
Thank God say garri no dey inside |
May all the vultures in the name of politicians hovering round this nation to the point of ridicule be exterminated so that the country can have a fresh breathe. These vultures have taken a great toll on the nation, amassing and scavenging on the little resources that is meant for the masses. It seems they even cast a spell on the masses which has held us spellbound and docile for too long. Prayer alone is not what will take away this vultures because God himself has given useverything we need for this warfare, it's on us to take the bull by the horns and go after these vultures. 'Nigeria go better' but not under Buhari. |
Our achievement? Well, to me I will say docility. The government has succeeded in engraining in the hearts of Nigerians the spirit of docility to the point that we no longer feel the pangs of bad governance but rather shout to high heavens hailing our oppressors whenever they drive past. We now view bad governance as a norm, how will a government be sharing dividend to democracy (if there is any at all) to only their cronies and stooge while the rest of us will seat back with our palms on cheeks mumbling "e go better". See eh, I can go on and on because the truth is this present government has put bad governance, malfeasance to stark display which I am awed and my fingers too numb to type about it. Well, 'Nigeria go better' but not under Buhari. |
Just look at how lopsided the budget is. The cost of governance in Nigeria is way to high, how can recurrent expenditure gulp about 70% of the budget? If I talk now they will term me a neophyte . |
My own be say, Hadi Sirika should just complete the terminal buildings of that airport for once. After all the billions expended, development is still trudging laboriously. |
It is obvious the transport ministry is the only visible eyes of this dark administration, just that the sectionalism and segregation of this administration is also smeared all over the same ministry. |
Saint Magu! Pray for Mr Integrity (Buhari's) family. |
Favour I guess. |
That's the way to go. I don't understand why the federal government is still yet to declare full resumption of schools whereas commercial activities are at full operation. Maybe the notion that this federal government is not enthusiastic about education is actually true after all. Kudos to state governments that have taken the bull by the horn. |
This is depressing, I can't imagine how the families of the deceased will be feeling now. When will our government finally put an end to the conveying of petroleum through major towns by road at broad day light? The rail construction is taking forever to be accomplished with the major routes (Eastern line) still left untouched. Sentimental government. Eternal rest grant unto the the deceased Oh! Lord. |
