I wish the governor would take interest and invest in this. We have raw skills but no one to harness them.

In okwudor village in Imo State ,a young man has taken the bull by the horn , he is investing heavily in this alternative energy by channelling the gas from soak away pits and laterines to be used in cooking. He has done this so well that the people are happy with his technology.

Family / Pretty Tonto Charity Dike Graces Ovation Magazine Front Cover by christopher123(m): 3:27pm On Jul 24, 2020
Tonto Dike, love her, hate her, one thing is for sure, she is always in the media and lips of everyone, with over 3 million followers on Facebook alone, you can understand that King Tonto reigneth over millions. Not only that, the pretty Single Mum of One has graced the glamourous Ovation Magazine that would be hitting the newspaper stands soon. Trust me, folks would talk and media set on fire.

The elated pretty actress couldn’t hide her joy when she posted the glossy frontpage. In her words she was brief and she said “Can’t wait Sir @delemomoduovation Save the date..”

The actress has done a lot of Charity works, remember her name is also Charity. She was featured in a movie titled Dirty Secret, which generated controversy among Nigerians due to its inclusion of adult scenes. While some people criticized her role for being nontraditional and un-African, others stated that Dikeh was merely being professional.

Webmasters / Tanta Innovatives Limited Harps On The Need For Periodical Pen And Vulnarabilty by christopher123(m): 5:06pm On Jul 21, 2020
In an ever changing and highly digitalized marketspace, the need to have digital assets protected becomes more imperative. Countries and organizations have lost billions of dollars in cyber breaches lately, Nigeria inclusive. Having this in mind, Tanta Innovative Limited, an indigenous information technology (IT) and software development firm based in Lagos has encouraged firms in the country to invest into cyber security solutions with emphasis on penetration testing for Nigerian firms in order to limit their exposure and security breaches.

Over $270.22 million was spent in 2018 to prevent cyberattacks by organizations and government in 2018. This has prompted Tanta Innovation Limited by introducing cost effective penetration testing for organizations. Speaking on the importance of penetration testing for organizations, Abraham Tanta, the Chief Executive Officer of Tanta Innovative Limited said, “We strongly believe at Tanta Innovative that penetration testing for organizations in Nigeria should be a thing that corporates do on a periodic basis. It offers the organization insights on the areas of vulnerabilities and how they can protect themselves better against cyber breaches. We have made this pen testing a simple process and cost effective. “

“The importance of penetration and vulnerability testing is critical to us. We follow the laid down processes of penetration testing such as Planning and data gathering, Scanning, gaining access, maintaining access and more importantly Covering tracks. We also look at various methods which we might deploy such as External testing, Internal testing, Blind testing and Targeted testing. We apply a high level of skill to properly identify all of the exploitable vulnerabilities.”. Tanta added.

Look Mr Man I have been reading some stupid comments of how economic activities will crash in Nigeria if igbos leave, but what you fail to understand is that business is all about space when you guys leave others will take over in short I remember when northern leaders asked igbos leave some people we're happy saying let them go so they can take over those shops and type of business they do.

it is not abput s[ace, it os about specialty...yes others will come into play but the truth is that Igbo leaving will cause a lot of disruption, the MMIA will dull, apapa, tin can will dull, real estate will crash and Nigerian economy will boost....Biafra will gain beciase diaspora igbo is coming with their expertise, It is simple economics

Dont even argue this

The truth is that Igbo are their destiny makers... trust me

Malaysia told Singapore to leave they left but here in Nigeria, they get angered and hopeless when Biafra is mentioned, How can they depend on Igbo so much?

Honestly for people who always claim to have it all yet so scared of igbos leaving. They try so hard to pretend but they keep exposing their inner fears.

So spineless.

Are we talking war? why is it that most times you guys think wars ..many of this countries left without wars...Black man start thinking properly pls

let us be civil...it is not hypothesis it is reality

Biafra leaving would likely crash Nigerian economy and that is why they are begging them in a way to stay..they are tempting them with presidency and I think the IGBO are not hearing that

smell the coffee

horsepower102:

Sir with all due respect, stop your hypotheticals. You are using the emergency war powers to project what a Biafra civilian rule would be like.

If America didn’t win the revolutionary war against the British, some people will be saying that George Washington would’ve been a dictator if he had won.

That’s exactly what you are doing with Ojukwu. There is no way you can read the ahiara declaration and believe Ojukwu would have been a dictator.

Please stop it. I know you want one Nigeria.

It will only enrich few people while multitudes live in abject poverty.

That is not the issue, the issue on stake is that...they want to leave..period

oyatz:
The Igbos are a significant population in Nigeria and they have ruled Nigieria at different levels in the past (Igbos have been President, Head of State, Vice President, Senate President ,Speaker of House of Reps, Ministers of Finance, CBN Governors, PDP chairmen etc) why can't they address these complaints?

Trust me Nigerians many do not want to stay together, and do not say seccesion will not happen because if it can happen in France where Monoco left, Malaysia where Singapore Left, UK, where Ireland, wales etc left...Ethiopia where Eritrea left , USSR, you know the story, India where Pakistan,Bengal, Bangladesh left

Why do you think it can happen in Nigeria...If it can happen in Senegal where Gambia left... It will happen here

To avoid it, tell your leaders to be honest, be just and equity

gbengaeed:
...Secession will never happen in Nigeria not because Nigerians want to stay together but because of the aftermath of the event, any region that gain independent today would be brutally dealt with by the other region in their domain no amount of deal or discussion can stop this, and even if you divide the country into 6 country we will still be hostile to one another endless war along the boarder and i don't think the UN will approve this , people will be victimize and you can't denies the fact that there are more opportunities in some region than the other especially immediate opportunity , Musa will be treated like trash in Anambra, Kunle will have to change his name and religion to make it in Kano and Amaka will pay more than the reasonable tax in Ibadan, Ijaw man may be kill in Sokoto for going away with the oil revenue. Honestly the people you believe to be in-charge of this country feel irritated by been together with the other people! you might not believe but when you join the circle of command you will understand.

I dubt, if you know igbo very well, they are republican and never in hostory of igbo that anyone dictate, even kanu is been called to order...Igbo do not follow one man, they follow logics

selemempe:

If Biafra had succeeded in 1967, there would have been 4 countries in the area now called Nigeria.

Republic of Biafra
Republic of Benin
Oduduwa
Nigeria

Biafra would have been a country led by the iron fist of ojukwu family. Ojukwu would have developed a cult following in Igbo, Ibibio and Efik areas. That would mean that only ijaws and ogonis may be outsiders.

Republic of Benin would be almost a vassal state of Biafra which means ojukwu and family would have more power.

Nigeria would have found economic and political cooperation with Oduduwa which means that sea access for them will be via Lagos.

A strong border would have existed in nsukka to keep Nigerians away.

The politics in Biafra itself would be similar to politics in Libya or politics in Abacha era.... dictated by ojukwu family and military. Believe me asari dokubo would not last a year in such a country.

Check politics in Angola, Gabon and equitorial guinea

No, if lagos which is smallest state can contain over 20 million, biafra which is about 10 times the size of lagos can contain 100 million...do not worry about Igbo. I do not know why you guys do not worry about yourselves but Igbo...if you can devote one tenth of the energies worring about yourself, it would be good

Even if there is Biafra , there would be capital repartriation...when Igbo go for christmas dont the whole east contin them...make una dey reason naaa

why are you guys angered that Igbo dont want you...do not make the mistake of your fathers by begging and fighting Igbo to stay...you are the children, if you do that, in the next 20 yrs, Igbo would buy over lagos...so let them leave

sweetsell:
So what now happen when the 10 million enter Biafra ? Should the 10 million not turn Biafra into a mini Lagos atleast ? Why is that not the case ?

You Igbos make too much mouth. Other countries without Igbos are existing fine n many doing beta than Nigeria. Who know if the multitude of your fan yogo okirimi people leaves we might have a beta Lagos ?

Before your forefathers started coming to lagos it was already a prosperous land. You can ask the Benis, Portuguese n British, if all igbo leave this sec if Lagos misses you make I die suddenly.

Your forefathers fathers came to lagos without a dime looking for succor. A place where they will escape hardship sorrow n misery they were acquainted to in Biafra. The wealth you talked about the earned it slaving in Lagos n they are rightly entitled to it but when they leave more wealth will go round among Lagosians n newcomers into the state.

Whether Biafra boom economically or not is not my business. I can only wish you whatever it is you wish Lagos State after you leave.

THE ISSUE OF BIAFRA SCARES THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS OUT OF THEM JUST LIKE IT DID TO THEIR FATHERS IN 1960S
ocha88:
Nigeria has failed as a nation, with no value to human life and we are here discussing about numbers of Biafra that owns properties outside Igbo land. Op if you really want to discuss Nigeria please do it and keep Biafra aside.

However as well as emulating Israel’s benefits, Biafra may also have mimicked Israel’s problems. Igbos are often called “The Jews of Africa”. The title is not fanciful. Had Biafra succeeded, it would have had similar demographic and geographic challenges to the world’s only Jewish state. It would have been surrounded by hostile nations, while simultaneously facing an armed insurrection within its borders by its own citizens.

Biafra faced many challenges within; including a Game of Thrones style cocktail of conspiracies, internal rivalries, politics, and in-fighting. Not all eastern Nigerians approved of secession. The Efiks, Annangs, Ibibios, and Ijaws within Biafra were not enthusiastic about swapping a Nigerian passport under a Hausa-Fulani led government, with a Biafran passport where they would be led by an Igbo government. How would the ethnic groups on Biafra’s southern coast react to being minority citizens of a country where most of the wealth is obtained from their land, but where they did not have economic and political leadership? Probably in the way they reacted when the same circumstances arose in Nigeria; MEND, Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force et al. The armed campaign of kidnapping and violence which Niger Delta militants waged against the Nigerian federal government would instead have been waged within Biafra’s borders – against the Biafran government. Isaac Idaka Boro’s short-lived Niger Delta Peoples Republic (and the fact that Boro fought for the Nigerian federal army against Biafra) was a demonstration that Niger Delta militants would have turned their guns on Biafra before long.

NOISY NEIGHBOURS

How would Biafra have related to its neighbours? To its northern border would have been one or two landlocked northern republics awash with trained combatant soldiers and guns. These landlocked countries would need would need deals with Biafra to gain access to the sea. If Biafra refused or negotiations got difficult, their demands for access to the sea may have turned violent. Would these northern republics quietly tolerate the noisy, rich, and successful little nation to their south without envy or rivalry? Unlikely.

THE MID-WEST

To Biafra’s western border would have been a diverse country of Edos, Esans, Isokos, Itsekiris, Urhobos, Ika-Igbos and others (modern day Delta and Edo States). Would Biafra have closed its borders to its Igbo brothers living in the state next door? Two options were open to Biafra. It could have encouraged the Igbos living to its west to migrate to Biafra by granting them automatic Biafran citizenship under an Israel style “law of return”. That of course would have presented its own problems by inferring that Biafra was an Igbo ethnic theocracy. It would also have fuelled fears among non-Igbo Biafrans that Biafra was an Igbo project.

The other option would have been to enlarge Biafra’s territory by extending its borders westward into Igbo speaking areas west of the River Niger such as Asaba. Non-Igbos living in such areas were unlikely to accept such territorial encroachment peacefully. Any Biafran attempt to annex territory west of the Niger would have been violently resisted. Even if successful, Biafran soldiers would have been viewed as an army of occupation in the manner of British soldiers in Northern Ireland and Israeli soldiers in the Gaza Strip and West Bank.

You are still hurt and cursing...over 80% of igbo want to leave this hellhole...trust me

Let me make it a bit easier for you...secession doesnt mean war...unless the black man is thinking that and also , freedom is the highest sacrifice what makes a nation is not the buildings or houses but capacity. The igbo have that capacity. Do you know that let us say about 10 million Igbo leave lagos for instance and these 10 million have about N1000 naira in their accounts....guess what, about 10 billion would leave lagos economy and it might crash. If you want to know this, wait till Dec 28 to jan 3rd and see how desolate lagos is

when igbo leave, trust me things would be affected

The travel industry will crash
The apapa port would dull because importers are gone
The entertainiment (Nollywood ) would crash for Biafrawood
Sports would dull becuase stakeholders are not around
Hospitality would dull...Igbo lodgers are leaving
Beverage industries would go because The north dont consume beers and the igbo would go and produce theirs trust them
Poverty would set in because majority of money has left the economy#real estate prices will crash becuase no occupants or low occupant.... lagos would be like ibadan
Skills would go

Guess what
Igboland would boost because the new biafra would have millions of people and this would create opportunities and opportunities create employment .
New embassies would spring up
Biafra hospitality, real estate and travel would boost
Aviation would be high and Lagos aviation would be dull
a new entertainment hib would be created
Igbo industriousness would be unleashed
It would be a win win for biafra ...looking at the economic angle a

as of the properties, do not worry...International laws protect that. When the jews left Europe to create isreal in 1945..they did not loose their properties and today look at isreal....

So do not worry about igbo let them worry about themselves....do not cry more than the bereaved

I am neither hurt or angered, Igbo should push the sensible ones among them to the forefront so that we can have civil n intelligent convesation instead of pushjng multitude of foolish souls on NL to insult others but you do not want others to insult you in return.

I did not quote the writer of this article cos his submission were logical but some fools like the ones I quoted started insulting another tribe because you want freedom. Is Fulani the one holding Igbo freedom in Nigeria.

If foolish igbo can make foolish comment on NL insulting anyone they like cos they have a right to that, other people owe the same right.

Igbo is not some demi god I go de fear to insult. I have over 100 NL monickers to insult any n all foolish Igbos that believe he or she own the right to insult others so long I have the time.

DON'T TELL ME YOU DON'T HAVE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION

(1) How many Igbos live or work in Kano State?
(2) How many Igbos live or work in Abuja?
(3) How man Igbos live or work in Lagos?
(4) Is it true that more than 20 million Igbos live or work in other parts of Nigeria outside Igboland?
(5) Is it true that there are more Igbo owned businesses outside Igboland than those located in Igboland?
(6) If true, it means Igbos earn more than half their income from economic activities occurring in other parts of Nigeria outside Igboland.

If you don't have the above information, how can you honestly and realistically plan for secession or for Biafra?

If as a result of secession millions of Igbos are to relocate back to Igboland, what plans do you have to provide them employment and settle them in Igboland?

The funny thing about ipob is that they never think about these things. They just emote.

One thing they forgot was that by the time Ojujwu declared Biafra in 1967, all Igbos in Nigeria had been forced back to Igboland. If millions of Igbos were freely doing their business in Kano and Lagos, Ojukwu would not have attempted a secession.

You need to consider the 20 million Igbos scattered all over Nigeria outside Igboland. If you were them, would you abandon your successful businessrs in Kano and Lagos and return to Igboland to fight over land with your village people?

Those 20 million Igbos are richer than those in Igboland. When referendum comes, they will vote against break-up and they will use their influence to get their brothers at home to vote against it. So, I can predict with certainty that the referendum will fail woefully.

The Igbos are like eagles. They need a vast space to soar wide and far. Igbos don't need to be confined within a tight space. They are free spirits. For the Igbos, there should be no national boundaries. The Igbos need a borderless world, without national boundaries.

We just need to give them an enabling environment, a levelplaying field, a system where reward will be based on merit and hard work, justice and equity and fair play. What the Igbos want is a fair play, not a border. We are free people. The whole world bu nke anyi. Africa should have been like India or China - just one country.

Now, let's debate. No insults.

I am Yoruba alright n am not supporting the north. I support only fairness unlike you Igbos that paint yourself holy but u are the most devilish soul ever. Igbos can leave Nigeria to hell for all I care.

Igbos will not be allowed to set moral standards for Nigeria. A standard where boko Haram is evil outrageous n devilish but fake drug should be condoned n accepted is not what Nigeria needs.

Untill senseless Igbos like you two are able to admit there is a failing you need to address n condemned then you do not have the right to talk about or condemned boko Haram or Fulani herdsmen.

Commuting in a hectic city like Lagos can be cumbersome and tiresome. With a lot of firms offering logistics and taxi services have tried to bridge this commuting gap but the issue of affordability still lingers. Having this in mind, a new taxi firm, SHEDRIVESBETA is bridging this gap and changing the narrative of how Lagosians commute. Having understudied the market for years, the company is bringing comfort, reliability, courteous drivers and above all affordability to Lagos road. SHEDRIVESBETA is poised to disrupt the transport ecosystem in Nigeria for good.

Being powered by women, known for their humane attributes, the company is bringing humane face in a “dog eat dog” business world. Speaking on the transport solution Jenifer Clara Aghasili , the principal manager and founder of SHEDRIVESBETA said “we totally understand the lapses in the transport ecosystem and we are poised to change the perception of transportation. We are bringing the global best practices to the bare and we hope that within a short period of time, we would be a force to reckon.”

“We also know that the issue of safety is paramount in the transport ecosystem, we have in place the latest cars with safety features. Our standard are full functional airbags, full insurance coverage and skilled drivers. We take our passengers’ safety paramount.”

As a new entrant in the market, SHEDRIVESBETA ,is a taxi/logistic firm that is powered by women that are serious about changing the narratives. Industry watchers and stakeholders have described the company as disruptors. Presently, they would be launching in Lagos to expand to other key cities of Nigeria.
