My dear, it takes maturity of the mindset to attain to attain this feat. You'll stop caring about people's opinion in your life when you realised that no one pays your bills, no one gives a 'fk' about you, when you realised that you can't please people, whether you stress yourself for their sake or not, they don't care. When you realised that people you surround yourself with are out to drain your pockets from constant demands and collecting without contributing anything positive in your life, when you have serious issues/ cases and those peeps turn their backs on you, always bringing you down and saying trash about you, then you'll learn the hard way, that you're on your own [OYO]. I learnt from my dad's experience, when I realised that even when he displeased himself and us his family, in order to please his friends and kinsmen, they still doesn't appreciate his efforts but instead talks trash about him and still responsible for his untimely death, then did I taught myself this hard life's lesson, of self love and to put myself first in most of my life's decisions and nothing or anyone's opinion can change that cos I DON'T CARE ANY MORE, because I believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I owe nobody any explanation for my decisions and the choices I make, that's my motto.

That was an understatement, in the company where my hubby works as as a staff, they dont allow any workers union to operate, everything is decided by the female HRO, he doesnt go for annual leave yearly, No promotions, no appraisals, no job securities, no active HMO,only a clinic within the company's premises, no increament of their salaries, work frm mondays to saturdays 8 am to 6pm with no overtime ooo, and if u complain, u'll be threatened. The list is endless. The HRO is running the company as a one-man business wit the approval of the MD, who's not always in the country, and whatever she says, goes and u dare not question her authorities or u get sacked. Alot of their best-hands are resigning as well as her female colleagues who she always felt threatend by beauties, brains and competences, and the company is gradually collapsing because of all these.
I can go on and on but let me save it for another day. Its really terrible. I ve advice hubby to resign too but he wants to set up something before calling it quits.

My friend & colleague at work just told me abt this woman yesterday becos they attend d same church, dt it was announced in their church on sunday abt her disappearance by her children because shes a well known personality in their church. This is d same vigil my friend went for on thursday last week straight frm work. She told me dt d woman usually come to church wit her grandchildren in her car bt her children were suprisd dt she left alone witout car & decide to use public transport. I pray dt God be with her & she's found safe and sound.

WHAT COULD BE WRONG? CAN SOMEONE HELP ME? Because i dont want to experience what i went tru last year again.
