In Nigeria, things are done upside down. If I was the custom boss, I will
1. Setup an online system for Vin verification to make it easier for car owners to just input their car Vin which tell them whether their vehicle is in the system also which vehicle type the Vin is tied to incase of false/fake paper

2. Don't use a uniform payment method, rather a depreciation custom payment since the custom is responsible for allowing smuggled cars escape their radar. They should also pay for incompetence. So they collect registration data from frsc and bill custom duty on a depreciation basis. So if I registered a 2004 micra in 2010, I shouldn't pay same duty as someone who registered same 2004 micra in 2016.

3. Make a printable slip free of charge from Internet, so those who have valid documents when stopped by custom agbero can just flash their slip and the custom agbero just verify with car Vin to make checking easier and faster saves time and man hour. Those just paying will be issued the slip free along with their document.

4. Every vehicle imported will be given a certificate of custom clearance just like the Lagos State land use charge certificate, this certificate has security on it like the paper notes, this will make identifying fake custom documents easier.

Nigeria is on the brink... If only the idiots in government today, are aware of what the pulse of the land is, they would obviously not be doing what they are doing right now.

Talking from experience l and coming from a family and extended family of Honda freaks, I will say that the only good thing about Honda is that they have better cosmetic designs than Toyota both interior and exterior but generally speaking, Honda is a terrible brand anytime.
You can't embark on a journey of up to 500 miles with a Honda with confidence. That explains why you don't see any commercial transport company including any Honda brand in their fleet. They have very poor reliability ratio.

This is absolutely incorrect. My dad has used too many hondas and never had issues with them. As at today, we still have one Honda civic bought brand new in 2003 and has about 50k miles on it and the engine has never been touched. Same with the suv. It all boils down to maintenance. People who don't know how to maintain vehicles, always talk about one car or the other being bad.

Walahi, if I follow this thread, I doubt I'd have to worry over anything. . But then, I'm happy to know that a lot of ladies are coming around and facing reality. On my part, I have a kind of life I would want to live and of course, would always push myself beyond limits to get there. Albeit, discussions like this, sometimes help us to know that we aren't doing badly in a nutshell, helps us to realize that the things we commonize and take for granted, are what others struggle to get, it helps us to appreciate our efforts and be grateful and thankful to God for whatever little we have.
