This girl sounds like a mentally retarded person. Where and how was she abused in the whole thing she has been saying since? What is our business if she slept with him? Why is she forcing us to hear and believe her? What are we supposed to do with that information? This girl should get lost completely.

When you hear stuffs like this, flee. If she's been with you for a couple of years, and finds it hard to choose between you and a guy she just met, know that it's time to walk away.

Technology and social media is just bringing out the inherent stupidity in a lot of people. What on earth are we supposed to do with this information? Why are some ladies this daft? If you can comfortably snap pictures on pants and bra, and share with the whole world, why then do you wear clothes when going out? You can as well dress like that out.

Women are unpredictable. Spend on them, what you can afford and wouldn't regret if things go sour. But the truth is, there is no romance and love without a considerable level of finance. We just have to set boundaries on what and what we should do, and not do.

She is the type of woman I want. A woman who would tell me everything and not give me reasons to be suspicious. Such a woman, I'd defend with everything I have got. Nothing beats a person being honest and truthful with you. I think you should worry less, but join her in prayers. Everything would be fine.
MIB1:
My fiancee confided in me two days ago that she had an incest relationship with her cousin yrs back. She said she told me cos she loves me and wouldn't want to hide anything from me. I love her too and still want to marry her but I am devastated by the news

She said she has fasted and asked God for forgiveness.

I have prayed on her behalf too severally,

I am supposed to come to Nigeria for our wedding next month . pls help nairalanders. I feel so pained . I need wise counsel .
Christianity Etc › Re: Church Refusing To Have Open Dedication For My Baby by chronique(m): 11:47pm On Mar 26, 2017
A lot of Nigerians are just not sensible and it really shows why the country is messed up. Yes, the op went against the church doctrine and has repented. That does not mean she shouldn't face the consequences. David took the wife of one of his men, arranged for the man to be killed in battle, slept with the wife and had a child. He prayed to God for forgiveness and he was forgiven. That did not stop God from punishing him and killing the child. The fact that you repented doesn't mean you will not face the consequences of your actions. If the church makes the mistake of bending the rules to accommodate you, they would be setting a precedence and would no longer be able to effect their doctrines. Every other person would use you as an example as to why they should not be sanctioned. You can't eat your cake and have it. Stop being sentimental and emotional about it.

You sabi. Urhobo comes before isoko. The Urhobos are the dominant tribe in Delta.
fratermathy:
There is no such thing as "Isoko attire" that is uniquely different from Urhobo attire.

Let's not personalise this style of dressing.

As for you Mr Ovokooo, always do your research well. That song is an Urhobo song, not an Isoko song!!! "Oghenerukevwe vwa suine ejiro" is pure central Urhobo dialect. It would have been better to have said Urhobo-Isoko or Isoko-Urhobo than to remove one from the other when you are not sure which is which in this case.

Anyhow sha, Urhobo and Isoko are one and the same people but always be careful with things like this.

Urhobo Wadoo!
Isoko Wadoo!

Celebrities › Re: Ayomide Labinjo: "Davido Has Big Manhood & It Hurts, He Refused To Wear Condom" by chronique(m): 10:20pm On Mar 25, 2017
Exactly. A lady who got into a serious relationship with a man, loved up, gave her all to him, had sex and got pregnant and took the path of honor to keep the baby, I can understand and tolerate. Not one trashy person with no morals or values, who met a total stranger at a night club or a party, and had sex, became pregnant and gave birth to a child. I can't deal with that. How will I explain to to myself and convince myself that I would be happy with, and can trust a woman who got pregnant by having a one night stand with a total stranger? Even if someone swears for me or curses me, I can't be that stupid.
cstr151:
Absolutely annoying, hommie.
And the thing is the vast majority of these young single mothers got impregnated cheaply and stupidly. You only need to hear the stories to cringe at the total lack of value and self-respect. Even their baby-daddies(who are obviously not stupid) would not take them for wives under any circumstance.
I was into one lady i met at a professionals training programme, dated her for a while, only for her to tell me she has a 4 year old child after 3 months of dating. I just tactically withdrew , and the next thing i got in my mail box, and phone for the next one month were different levels of vulgarities, curses, and abuses by this chick.

DrOBD:
Sir, you didn't complete scenario number 2.
If that same man bought a car at 520k in Nigeria which was 1000 USD last month, and he sells that car at 400k, he will have excess of 20k and can buy that same car again at 1000 USD, because 1000 USD today is 380 Naira to a dollar. Who is fooling who.
Did you go through what you just wrote? Buy at 520k and sell at 400k? And lose 120k? In business, if you can't make profit, you try and break even. That means if you buy and can't make a profit on your 520k, you must sell at 520k(breaking even), and not below your cost price. If you have this type of mindset, please do not attempt to go into business or else you would lose your entire capital in a jiffy.
Autos › Re: Naira Gain Against The US Dollar: What Will Happen To Greedy Car Dealers? by chronique(m):
The thing that pisses me off with most people on Nairaland, is the brazen display of ignorance. People just run their mouths like tap and say all manner of stuffs... For those of you saying importers are greedy and jacking prices up arbitrarily, have you ever asked yourselves how the importers get dollars they use in making purchases? Go around most car lots in Lagos today and you will find that most of them are out of stock and have almost closed up completely cos they can't bear the huge burden of importing with high exchange rates. A lot of them have switched to Nigerian used cars. This brings me to another issue I'd like to address. When you see a car dealer quoting a high price on a Nigerian used car, know that the fault starts from the client he bought it from, or is selling on his behalf.
I had an issue this week with a client who wanted to sell a used 2009 Camry. We were 4 individuals involved in the sale of this car. Client had agreed to 1.8m initially and as soon as the buyer agreed to pay for the car, the owner changed his price to 2.1m. All efforts to get him to collect 2m, proved abortive. At the end, the deal didn't work. Somebody who doesn't know all of these, would say a dealer is greedy if the dealer attempts to sell the car for 2.2m. As I speak to you, I'm currently trying to negotiate a Camry with a client and he is insisting on 2.2m. How much am I expected to sell it?

Don't just sit there and blame innocent dealers over what they have no control over. Last week, we got a 2009 Benz c300 and Lexus ls460 and it would be shipped in pretty soon. How much was the dollar last week? If the dollar keeps falling to around 300 or less by the time the 2 cars come in, how much do you think I'd sell? Will I sell at a conversion rate of 300,for a car that was bought with dollar of 400+? You do the maths.

After, one person would senselessly come and say that a man who refused to date or marry this one because she has a baby, is cheap and silly. As if it is mandatory for the men to take up the trash other people disposed off.

Nawa ooo
I can't even believe a mother will think of denying her child cos cheap silly men are leaving her
Orisirisi

Pls change your circle of men and don't fall for society pressure
The way you ladies reason and talk at times could be so irritating and annoying. You are referring to men who made their choices, as cheap and silly because they refused to go further with a woman who has a child for someone else; how intelligent does that sound? Must they be forced to accept her and the baby? Does the child not have a father? Not everyone is interested in getting caught up in a web they aren't comfortable with. Women being who they are (unpredictable) can wake up one day and start getting close to the ex and that would start creating issues for the new man. As much as I do not view single mothers as condemned, I also do not think anybody should be angry with a man who doesn't want such. The best set of people she should attempt dating, are people in her own kind of situation. Calling single men who refuse to go further with her, cheap and silly, is not just a selfish way of reasoning, but a very silly one. The child did not drop from the sky and there is a reason why the father of the child is not with the mother. Not everyone is interested in such details cos whatever happens between two people, only two of them would know. The woman might not speak the truth and not everybody has the strength for such...

I keep cash where people can access it if they need it and I'm not at home, and it never gets missing. This your kind of wife would make cash disappear from the house mysteriously. I think she's just a drain pipe, and isn't someone who is going to stand by you in tough times. You better start preparing for the uncertainty that would happen if you don't have money to give her.

I feel really sorry for the girls who agreed to date you. They passed the test and were in for real but unfortunately got trapped in your inability to make quick decisions. Most girls these days hardly ever pass that stage. I think maybe you should sit them down individually and talk things through with them. Abuja to Kano shouldn't be that far but dating a girl still in school is something you shouldn't try if you have a better option of having someone you love around you. At 20,that girl will still wanna have fun. Girls that age, are everybody's toys. If I had to choose for you, I'd go for the one in Kano with you, provided she's out of school. If she's still in school, I'd advice you go for the one you took her virginity cos there would be no difference.

Popular Comedian Basketmouth has explained why he does not enjoy partying at night clubs.

Speaking to HIP TV, Basketmouth said, "It's too stressful. I swear what I am about to say, some club owners would not like it. You go to a club, it's crowded, you can't dance, everyone is hitting you, the drinks are expensive.

''If you look at it at the end of the day, you are actually getting stressed out to spend your own money. I would rather just stay at home. Buy the drinks and keep it's real. It's cheap. Call my friends to come to my house and drink. The money I would spend on a bottle of brandy in the club, I can use it to buy 3 at home. It's just #11,000 for a bottle (of a particular brand) but in the club, is it i #35,000? I be mumu? I be igbo, I save my money. No be club?"

It is better you do a moderate wedding / marriage, save the rest for sustaining the marriage, there is no point spending Millions /billions for wedding, all your guest will hail you, eat and go, then you have your cross to carry alone , marriage is responsibility, it is not a child's play, it is a life time investment, a school you never graduate from, so it is better to spend less and have so much saved & stored for the raining days, alternatively , the excess you would have burnt in your "show-off" wedding use the money to open an account for your unborn child and leave it there like a trust fund, your baby will thank you in the future to know that you already have his Education fund sorted out before he / she was born, it will also save you of un-foreseen challenges like when your job or business is down, you know you have something saved up for the raining day, wedding is one day but marriage to your spouse is a life time investment wink
