Except from China most of Russia so called allies don’t even have d purchasing power of uk not to talk of Germany who are there biggest customers and d rest of Europe .
Pootin is even willing to sell to China and india with discount compared to Germany and d rest of Europe who buy without discount.
I hope d war stops soon but by d end of d year when Europe moves on from Russia gas and oil it won’t be funny for Russia economy.

It will take years for them to do that. As a matter of fact, it's almost impossible in the next five years cos some of the countries where they intend to go and buy from, already have subsisting contracts to other countries. It's not like those ones have idle gas and oil sitting somewhere and waiting for buyers. Besides, some of them are already operating at optimal capacity. And then again, the logistics of building gas pipelines would take not less than 3 years to achieve. In the event that those suppliers have to leave their current customers to supply Europe, those customers would in turn have to look elsewhere and that's where Russia also comes in. Like I said, the only solution out is peace.

But that isn't happening anytime soon. What will eventually happen is that russia focuses more on doing business with the Asia, the Middle east and Africa. Currently, the sanctions are not working and I think I read a report somewhere that said Russia has exported more oil and made more income from oil this period than before. It is not going to be sustainable in the long run for the global economy cos the inflation rate that keeps going up globally as a result of this war would get to a point where citizens would start revolting in all the countries affected. To be honest, peace is the only option.

Australia, New Zealand and the US have raised concerns on security in the Pacific, after China signed a security pact with the Solomon Islands.

The deal was signed this week, fuelling fears China may seek to build a naval base in the Pacific nation.

The Solomon Islands had rebuffed last ditch efforts by Australia - its biggest aid donor - to stop the deal.

Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare said the pact would not "undermine peace and harmony" in the region.

The Solomon Islands leader added that the pact was not aimed at traditional allies but "rather at our own internal security situation".

He did not disclose the pact's terms, but insisted it was made "with our eyes wide open, guided by our national interests".

A leaked draft of the agreement, which was verified by the Australian government, said Chinese warships would be permitted dock on the islands and that Beijing could send security forces "to assist in maintaining social order".

The islands have been rife with social unrest in recent years and in November the Australian government sent personnel from its defence forces to help quell deadly riots in the capital Honiara, sparked after protesters stormed parliament in a bid to topple Mr Sogavare.

A spokesperson for the Chinese foreign ministry confirmed on Tuesday that the final agreement had retained the provisions on "maintaining social order".

Quick question. What's the difference between what China is doing now in The Solomon Islands that Nato is not trying to do to Russia? Why is the response different? Or would we be fine with Australia and the US threatening and sanctioning the Solomon Islands but cry murder when Russia has been against their encroachment (NATO) to their territory?

Good Morning Fam, I've got this pressing issue that I would very much appreciate your wise counsel to help me solve.

I met a lady about three months ago and we bounded pretty quickly, this oyibo movie kinda love story that the dating starts without anyone doing the toasting and all. I asked her about her relationship status weeks later and she said it was complicated, citing how the relationship has been toxic and she wants to leave but the guy won't let go.

I shaa told her that I won't get involved so let her handle it herself. The guy backed out for a while but has resurfaced recently hell bent on getting the girl back. From the WhatsApp conversation and call recordings the girl sent me she has made it obvious to the guy that she's moved on with another guy but the young man is having none of it. She even offered to return everything he's ever given her but no way.

Now he has resorted to threatening me and the said Lady with death. I've never met this guy and I don't have anything to do with him either. The last thing I want to do is fight over a woman that is not even my wife with another guy reason why I've never interfered in their issues. I have it at the back of my mind that I might still breakup with the girl anytime in the future.

He keeps telling the girl that its either he has her or no one will, that she and whoever is attempting to steal his joy away is playing with their lives. The whole issue is making her scared and confused. I asked her to get a recording of the guy making those death threats so I can use it as an evidence in the police station but he has stylishly been evading it despite the girls best efforts. He suddenly became calm and all apologetic now saying he will pray to God to destroy who ever wants to destroy his relationship after all his investments.

How do you guys think I should handle this issue amicably, I find it embarrassing when men bicker over a lady and never imagined myself getting involved in such. I've considered the option of leaving the lady for him but she really loves me likewise me. In as much as I don't want any issues with anybody, won't it be cowardly of me to hide in a closet while a fellow man threatens me with death.

Wait until he issues the threat again to her either via chat or call. Let her record the phone conversation or screenshot his messages. When you have that, go to the station and file a case against him. Running away from her is not the solution. The fact that you guys might break up later is not a good reason to allow a lunatic issue death threats over a woman.
